Abbreviation as the way of derivation of law terms in the modern English language

Shabardina S.V.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the abbreviation as one of the ways of derivation of legal terms in the modern English language. In the given work there is an attempt made to estimate efficiency of abbreviation as a way of formation of legal terms in the English language, to determine main structural types of abbreviated notions (abbreviations) used as legal terms in the modern English language, as well as to examine correspondence of these very models (structural types of abbreviations) to particular types of law concepts. The material for the research comprises legal terminology that has been obtained due to the method of continuous sampling in the course of analysis of legal professional literature (monographs, course-books, parliamentary acts, books of court reports, specialized dictionaries, etc.). English legal terms are studied from two perspectives: logical-conceptual and linguistic, therefore this paper takes a linguistic-conceptual approach to the study of terms. The conducted research allows us to come to the conclusion that abbreviation is not only the way of derivation of law terms to express notions of this field of knowledge, but also has a system-forming role, which can be noticed in the correlation of structural types of abbreviations and certain legal concepts.

The feminine and masculine archetype of the rebel in Somerset Maugham's short fiction: a comparative analysis

Albegov T.A.

Abstract

the article examines the features of the artistic embodiment of the Rebel archetype in S. Maugham's short stories "The Ant and the Grasshopper" and "The Unconquered" depending on the gender model of the characters. The object of the analysis is the images of Tom Ramsey and Annette, representing male and female versions of rebellion. In the course of the study, using contextual and comparative descriptive analysis, it was found that the archetype of the Rebel is realized in different ways: male protest (Tom Ramsey) is presented in an ironic and comic way, while female resistance (Annette) acquires the features of tragedy and moral fortitude. This difference reflects both the author's position and the socio-cultural context in which women's rebellion is acceptable only as a last resort. The results of the research can be applied in teaching English language stylistics, literary theory and interpretation of literary text.

Linguoculturological aspect in study textbooks on translation in a pair of Chinese and Russian languages

Krasheninnikov A.E., Narbut E.V., Shchepteva V.E.

Abstract

the linguacultural competence of a translator is a set of knowledge, abilities and skills that allows the translator to effectively carry out intercultural communication, taking into account the cultural characteristics of the source language and the target language. It goes beyond simple language proficiency and covers the understanding of cultural realities, values, traditions and social norms that affect the formation of the meaning of the text. This competence is extremely important for a translator, since without understanding the cultural context, difficulties may arise in interpreting the meaning of the text. An adequate translation should not only convey factual information, but also have the desired impact on the target audience. This article considers the problem of reflecting the linguacultural aspect in translation textbooks intended for teaching students working with Chinese and Russian. The textbook "Theory and Practice of Translation of Foreign Texts: Oriental Languages" and the textbook "Theory and Practice of Translation in a Pair of Chinese and Russian Languages" are analyzed in order to identify ways of presenting culturally specific elements and strategies for their adequate transmission in translation. Particular attention is paid to the difficulties that arise when confronted with cultural realities, idioms, proverbs and sayings that reflect the unique worldview of native speakers.

Cultural promotion strategies of Chinese cosmetic brands in the context of globalization

Li X.

Abstract

against the background of deepening globalization and improving regional economic cooperation mechanism, China's cosmetic industry is in a critical transition period from “market-following” to “culture-leading”. The study found that at the cultural level, the integration of traditional Chinese medicine aesthetics and contemporary minimalism has constructed a new aesthetic narrative that is both oriental and international; this trend is leading the global cosmetic industry from “technology-driven” to “culture-awareness” and “value-awareness”. This trend is leading the global cosmetic industry from “technology-driven” to “culture-perception” and “value-identity” – driven. The global communication strategy of Chinese cosmetic brands needs to reconstruct the two-wheel drive model, i.e. to take “cultural decoding – narrative reconstruction” as the value engine, and “digital communication – platform penetration” as the path Pivot. Re-creation of brand meaning through differentiated cultural output is the key mechanism to break through cultural discounts and cognitive barriers.

Cultural connotation of Chinese architectural terminology "???????" and strategies for their translation into Russian

Lin Z.

Abstract

with the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative and the increasing cultural exchanges between China and Russia, the demand for the international dissemination of traditional Chinese culture has grown significantly. Ancient architecture, as an important carrier of Chinese civilization, relies on the accurate translation of its terminology as a key link in crosscultural communication. However, Chinese ancient architectural terms are imbued with profound cultural connotations, and their unique word-formation logic and symbolic meanings often face isues such as semantic loss and cultural dilution in Russian translation. Existing research has predominantly focused on English translation, while systematic exploration of Russian translation remains insufficient. This study takes four typical ancient architectural terms—"Ting (?), Tai (?), Lou (?), Ge (?)"—as research objects. Employing a theoretical framework that combines cultural linguistics and descriptive translation studies, it deconstructs the culture-loaded features of these terms through semantic field analysis, conceptual metaphor interpretation, and parallel text comparison, establishing a three-dimensional "culture-language-translation" conversion model. The research focuses on uncovering the philosophical concepts behind these terms, such as "harmony between man and nature" and "ritual order," and proposes stratified translation strategies—including "literal translation + cul-tural annotation," "image reconstruction," and "transliteration compensation"—based on Nida's functional equivalence theory to address the cultural heterogeneity of architectural terms in the Russian context.

Comparison of Russian and French mentalities in Tolstoy’s novel war and peace

Liu X.

Abstract

this article examines a comparative analysis of Russian and French mental orientations based on Leo Tolstoy’s novel War and Peace. The aim of the study is to identify the deep differences and points of intersection between the two cultural paradigms as manifested in language, moral values, historical self-perception, and the behavioral strategies of the characters. The French mentality, as represented in the artistic structure of the novel, appears as an expression of rationalist worldview, hierarchical social structures, and a dominant individualistic orientation—reflecting a desire for cognitive regulation of reality. In contrast, the Russian mental model emphasizes the significance of spiritual life, collective principles, and a focus on moral self-perfection, forming an emotionally and ethically charged perception of the world. The study is based on an integration of cultural-philosophical interpretation and philological analysis, which makes it possible to chart new directions in the fields of comparative literary studies, ethnopsychology, and intercultural hermeneutics.

Teaching students skills of scanning and searching reading in English at secondary school

Borisov A.V.

Abstract

the article discusses the problem of teaching scanning and searching reading in English classes. This topic was chosen for a reason, as reading is not taught as a separate aspect in the practice of teaching a foreign language at school. Currently, teachers have many options for choosing the necessary teaching tools, but the challenge is to determine which tools to use to make the learning process more effective. In this study, the author proposes a system of exercises that allows students to successfully complete scanning and searching reading tasks at all three stages of working with a learning text. This system has been tested in foreign language classes and contributes to the development of scanning and searching skills as an effective means of teaching to read in foreign language.

The problem of defining the genre of memoirs

Yakushenkova Y.S.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the issue of memoir genre identification within the framework of M.M. Bakhtin's theory of speech genres. The introduction substantiates the difficulty of defining memoirs as a secondary speech genre that combines documentary elements, personal narrative, and artistic components. Their multi-component structure is emphasized, uniting objective historical facts with the subjective authorial element and multiple communicative purposes. The materials and methods section examines various scientific approaches to the classification of memoirs and their relation to autobiography, diaries, letters, and other documentary genres. The author analyzes the debate on positioning memoirs between artistic and documentary literature, adopting as a working concept the view of them as a synthesis of these two domains. The main results of the study, presented in the discussion section, reveal the role of the category of emotiveness as a key genre-forming factor. Based on the military memoirs of G.K. Zhukov, F. Paulyus, and S. de Gaulle, a comparative linguistic analysis was conducted, identifying the specific emotional tone of each author (patriotic, tragic, and inspiring, respectively) and its connection to the national-historical context. Tables demonstrate the use of syntactic devices (exclamations, rhetorical questions, inversions) to enhance emotional impact and fulfill pragmatic functions such as mobilization, reflection, or the formation of national identity. It has been proven that emotiveness functions as a tool of the author's self-identification and the establishment of a communicative link with the reader. The conclusions confirm that the memoir genre is characterized by a complex interweaving of a documentary foundation and an emotional-evaluative component. The category of emotiveness defines the uniqueness of the authorial style, transforming the text into a multidimensional communicative space where the reader becomes a participant in historical reflection. The study contributes to the theory of speech genres, emphasizing the need to consider emotional strategy when analyzing memoir prose.

You Y.

Abstract

this article provides an overview of the definition of multimodal discourse and its research origins and development. Using CiteSpace 6. 4. R1 software, a visual analysis was conducted on 449 research articles related to multimodal discourse analysis published between 2020 and 2024 on the platforms of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, and Weipu Information. By examining the annual publication trends, distribution of authors and institutions, keyword clustering, burst detection maps, and keyword timelines, the study deeply analyzes the current state, hot topics, dynamic frontiers, and development trends of multimodal discourse analysis in China. The research findings indicate that: (1) the study of multimodal discourse analysis in China shows a steady growth trend, but the collaboration network among authors and institutions remains weak and needs to be strengthened; (2) current research hotspots are highly focused on the mechanisms of combining visual modalities and language, as well as their application in fields such as translation practice and cultural communication; (3) future research will develop towards diversifying application scenarios, deep interdisciplinary integration, and expanding international perspectives. The article also points out the limitations of existing research and offers targeted suggestions aimed at providing references and ideas for subsequent studies.

Glocalization of streaming platforms: Netflix’s strategy in the Indian market

Kandyba Y.V.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the study of the glocalization processes of global streaming platforms, taking Netflix’s strategy on the Indian media market as an example. In this context, glocalization is viewed as a key managerial paradigm that ensures the adaptation of OTT services to the cultural, linguistic, socio-economic, and technological specifics of regional audiences while maintaining a unified global brand positioning. Using the Netflix case in India, the authors analyze changes in the business model, marketing communications, pricing policy, interface solutions, and content strategy, and describe the organizational mechanisms for localization and interaction with the national industry. The main methodological tool is the case?study method, which makes it possible to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the stages of Netflix’s entry into the Indian market, identify the managerial challenges the platform faced, and assess the effectiveness of the adaptation solutions implemented. Special attention is paid to economic barriers (low purchasing power of the population), cultural and linguistic fragmentation of the audience, and the high competitive density of the market (more than 30 OTT players, including local and transnational operators). Based on empirical data, it is shown that the successful operation of global digital platforms in Global South countries is possible only with deep localization of all key components of the product and strategy. The results confirm the hypothesis that glocalization functions not merely as an operational tactic but as a structurally necessary element of business strategy under conditions of digital globalization and multilevel competition. Moreover, the role of glocalization as a mechanism of cultural exchange is emphasized: through content localization and expanded presence in regional markets, global platforms contribute to the internationalization of local cultural products. The article contributes to the development of scholarly discourse in media management, strategic marketing, cultural studies, and global media research, expanding our understanding of the mechanisms of interaction between the global and the local in the digital age.

Socio-psychological aspect of using jargon terms and slang constructions in informal learning and experience exchange within professional communities

Zhang J.

Abstract

this article explores the complex role of jargon and slang in the process of informal learning and experience sharing within professional communities. The introduction highlights the dual nature of slang: it serves as a powerful tool for group cohesion and accelerated communication among “insiders,” signaling belonging and shared experience, but at the same time it creates barriers to understanding for newcomers and can form “restricted-access zones.” The function of slang is emphasized not only as a linguistic shortcut but also as a status marker, which necessitates awareness of both its benefits and the risks of overuse, especially when various subgroups within the same community develop unique slang. The study focuses on how slang naturally evolves in work processes and informal interactions (backstage conversations, chats). Young professionals pick it up as part of the unwritten rules and hierarchies. It is noted that slang can create effective cognitive schemas for solving tasks, but it can also generate tension and feelings of incompetence among the uninitiated. The authors stress the importance of giving newcomers tools to “decode” slang so that it does not replace systematic explanation or lead to superficial understanding. The spontaneous mechanism of language acquisition through group interaction (“learning without noticing”) is examined along with its pros and cons. The socio-psychological effects are described in detail. Mastery of slang enhances self-esteem and status for newcomers, whereas lack of knowledge leads to disorientation and requires extra resources for adaptation, similar to learning a foreign language. A paradoxical ability of slang is revealed: it both speeds up communication among the “initiated” and slows it down between different groups or generations. The relationship between psychological comfort, self-esteem, anxiety levels, and willingness to use slang is analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the need for flexibility, tolerance, and an open environment that welcomes questions.

Study of the relationship between mental illness and the construction of Myshkin’s image in the novel “The Idiot”

Yang Q.

Abstract

this article is devoted to a reinterpretation of Prince Myshkin’s character from F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel “The Idiot” through the prism of his epilepsy and its symbolic connection with the phenomenon of holy folly in Russian culture. The author argues that traditional readings, which emphasize Myshkin’s role as a holy fool, ignore the medical aspect of his personality and the socio-historical context of his illness. The study is based on an analysis of Dostoevsky’s biography, his own epilepsy, as well as a pathographic approach to the protagonists in his works. The material includes a comparison of medical descriptions of the prince’s seizures with historical and cultural interpretations of holy folly, highlighting the dual nature of the character: a combination of physical frailty and spiritual purity. It is shown that Myshkin’s epilepsy serves not only as a plot-forming element but also as a metaphor for the crisis of faith and moral degradation of Russian society in the 19th century. The author demonstrates that the hero’s illness reflects the impossibility of realizing the “positively beautiful man” under conditions of the collapse of traditional values and the triumph of mercantilism. The discussion reveals a link between the character’s neurological disorder and his social helplessness: Myshkin’s childlike innocence and behavioral “foolishness” are interpreted as a consequence of epilepsy, exacerbated by the conflict between a divine ideal and human limitations. The conclusion is drawn that the tragic outcome of the hero (and his inability to save others) symbolizes the downfall of the Christian ideal in a secular world. The study contributes to interdisciplinary research by combining literary criticism, medical anthropology, and cultural studies in the analysis of a key figure of Russian classical literature.

Syntactic method of forming terms in the sphere of participatory budgeting

Ablyametova S.M., Bilyalova S.S.

Abstract

the article examines the syntactic method of forming terms in the sphere of participatory budgeting, which is associated with the active use of language to describe new economic and managerial processes. The authors emphasize that terminology not only reflects the development of scientific thought, but is also an important tool for professional communication in highly specialized fields. The purpose of this study is to identify structural models of participatory budgeting terms formed syntactically. The study is based on the analysis of documents and methodological recommendations on participatory budgeting and shows that the terminology of this sphere is replenished primarily by rethinking commonly used words. The work establishes that the main models of term formation are one-, two-, three-, four- and five-component phrases. It is especially noted that two- and three-component terms make up the bulk of the terms and have productive models, such as “noun in the nominative + noun in the genitive” and “adjective in the nominative + noun in the nominative”. Based on the analysis, it is investigated how terms formed syntactically help to accurately designate new concepts in the field of participatory budgeting. In conclusion, the authors note that the syntactic method of forming terms plays a key role in creating relevant and understandable terminology in the field of initiated budgeting. The results of the study may be useful for developing training materials and courses aimed at teaching terminology in the context of budgeting and management. In the long term, the research may become the basis for further discussions and workshops in the field of terms and their formation.

Cultural codes of authentic / AI-generated folk tales

Evseev O.V.

Abstract

the article examines cultural codes in Russian folk tales and their AI-generated analogues using the large language model GigaChat. The study aims to identify and analyze the ways in which cultural codes are represented in authentic and AI-generated fairy tales. To achieve this goal, a structural-semantic and content analysis was conducted, focusing on distinguishing features between the two types of tales across three interrelated parameters: narrative elements, cultural codes, and linguistic devices. The findings reveal that some cultural codes in folk tales differ from the ones in AI-generated tales: these are archaic realities, superstitions, religious rituals, and social satire. These codes are expressed through plot-related features: absurdity, moral lessons, conflicts and humor, as well as linguistic devices, including archaisms, verbal dynamism, descriptive passages, and onomatopoeia. The results of the study confirmed that a simplification of cultural codes in AI-generated tales takes place. Myth is replaced by generic magic, detached from the rituals, customs, taboos, and superstitions inherent to Russian tradition. Social criticism is replaced by an idealized portrayal of social roles. The moral and educational lessons, that are aimed at intergenerational upbringing, are oversimplified and excessively spelled out.

These include: accreditation of an educational institution, a school system for assessing the quality of education, monitoring of the educational process, intra-school control, etc. The main contradictions in assessing the quality of education are due, firstly, to the complexity of the study of this problem, and secondly, to the lack of development of approaches to solving this problem. The article proposes a closed-loop model for managing the quality of the educational process. The study was conducted at the Pedagogical Institute of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Irkutsk State University" using the example of the basic discipline "Professional ICT competence of a teacher". The results of students' current academic performance during laboratory and test assignments were used as initial data. When determining the sample size, a selective method was used, and students were selected based on a random selection algorithm. Based on the SWOT analysis, the assessment tools included in the discipline's work program are characterized. Hypothesis testing was performed on the basis of correlation analysis, and the Student's criterion was used as a criterion for the statistical reliability of the results.

Physiological bases of willpower and its influence on the effectiveness of the pedagogical process in adolescents studying in higher education

Babenko A.K., Terentyeva O.S., Bakhmutov N.V.

Abstract

the study is devoted to the identification of interrelations between the willpower qualities of adolescent students and physiological indicators, as well as the influence of these factors on learning outcomes. The relevance of the work is due to the search for ways to improve the effectiveness of the pedagogical process through the development of students' willpower. In the article an attempt was made to substantiate the significance of willpower self–regulation in learning activity and to propose an integral approach that combines psychological diagnostics of willpower with the assessment of physiological parameters. The obtained data allow us to think about the biological basis of volitional qualities, self–control and emphasize the importance of taking into account the volitional and physiological characteristics of students in educational practice. The study involved 88 people (64 boys, 24 girls, 18-19 years old). The tests “Willpower” by N.S. Smirnova, “Self–regulation” by V.I. Morosanova, “Learning motivation” by N.Ts. Badmaev and Ruffier test for HR estimation. Academic performance was analyzed by grade point average, attendance and activity. The data were processed statistically with calculation of averages and distributions. Most of the students showed an average level of willpower (84.1%), motivation (77.3%) and self–regulation (69.3%). Unexpected results were observed: students with low levels of willpower and motivation showed higher mean scores (4.30 and 4.14, respectively) than those with high levels (3.63 and 4.00). The Ruffier index revealed variability in cardiorespiratory endurance (40.9% mean), confirming its suitability for screening physiological resilience. The results underscore the multifactorial nature of academic success and the need to integrate will and health development programs. The pilot study, limited to a homogeneous sample, lays the foundation for longitudinal work with HRV and environmental data. The novelty lies in the integration of physiological markers, which is rare in Russia.

Cui X., Fedotova O.D.

Abstract

the article considers the problems of reforming the professional education system in China, the implementation of which is closely connected with the name of Cai Yuanpei, the Minister of Education of the Republic of China and the first rector of Bejing University. Based on the access to the open-access scientometric databases Google Trends and CNKI (The Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure), the authors found that there are significant differences in the assessment of Cai Yuanpei's contribution to the reform of the higher professional education system in foreign countries and in the People's Republic of China. The indicators of differences are the frequency of search queries, the semantic category of which is the name of Cai Yuanpei. It was found that Google Trends from 2004 to the present has recorded a minimal number of queries from foreign countries, while in China there is a persistent interest in the history of the reform of the higher education system of their country, the conceptual foundations of which were laid by Cai Yuanpei.

Karova S.A.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the characteristics of some aspects of the formation of media culture in students of comprehensive schools. The education system is designed to form the ability to learn, gain knowledge, develop skills, and not absorb a coherent system of facts. In the context of the informatization of education, an urgent problem is to improve the information culture of the individual. This article pays special attention to the term "media education", which is understood by the authors in different ways. We proceed from the fact that media education realizes the ability to develop a person through media, forms a consumer of various information. It is noted that digitalization has firmly entered almost all spheres of activity of a modern person. This is explained by the active digitalization processes today. The mediatization of modern society significantly expands the traditional understanding of personal culture, including the ability to effectively function in the digital space along with awareness of moral values and self-determination. Media education is a fundamental element in the development of personal culture, determining the formation of information competence of high school students. In this context, it is important to teach the younger generation to navigate the media environment, critically evaluate incoming information, and skillfully use modern technologies to achieve one of the main goals of education – the formation of a comprehensively developed personality.

Educational online game as a pedagogical tool for increasing students' empathy

Vashetina O.V., Khafizova A.A., Sadrtdinova L.R.

Abstract

the lack of empathy and understanding of the difficulties faced by people with disabilities is a serious problem in modern society, hindering the formation of an inclusive environment and interfering with full interaction between people. Many healthy people have difficulty understanding the everyday experiences and challenges that people with disabilities struggle with, which leads to the formation of stereotypes, the spread of ignorance, as well as prejudice and social isolation. The presented study is aimed at developing and evaluating the effectiveness of an interactive educational game designed to increase the level of empathy and understanding of disabilities in undergraduate students. Instead of passive assimilation of theoretical information, the game implies active and emotional involvement, simulating situations and challenges faced by people with various types of disabilities. The purpose of the study is to develop and test interactive game-based learning aimed at developing empathy and forming a tolerant attitude towards people with disabilities. The materials and methods of the study include the development of a game containing several levels, each of which is dedicated to a specific type of disability (vision, hearing, musculoskeletal disorders), pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess changes in the level of empathy, as well as the collection of qualitative data (feedback from participants). The results of the study demonstrated a significant increase in empathy in students who completed training using the game, which confirms the effectiveness of using gaming technologies in forming "inclusive thinking" and contributing to the preparation of future specialists for work in an inclusive society. The work also describes the methodological aspects of developing such games, including issues of ethics and the reliability of modeling the experience of people with disabilities. The results will be of practical importance for developers of educational games, teachers, social psychologists, as well as people interested in developing inclusive education and building a tolerant society.

Developing school students’ digital scientific literacy: an experimental research

Smirnova A.V.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the experimental verification of the effectiveness of the author's structural and functional model of digital scientific literacy development among school students in grades 9-11. Digital scientific literacy (DSL) is presented as an integrative personality quality that includes cognitive (systemic knowledge of reliability criteria for evaluating digital scientific sources, digital tools), activity-based (practical skills in searching, verifying, and processing scientific data in the digital environment), and value-based (value orientations to the scientific worldview and ethics) components. The study was conducted on the basis of three secondary schools (141 students) using the author generated and other diagnostic tools (practical tasks, cases, questionnaires, project expertise). The pedagogical experiment included four experimental groups with different organizational and pedagogical conditions: EG1 (teacher training), EG2 (work in the Digital LinguaLab laboratory), EG3 (author's teaching materials), EG4 (a set of all three conditions) and a control group (traditional training). Initially, an insufficient level of DSL was detected in 84-100% of the participants. After the implementation of the model, the highest result was achieved in EG4: 50% of students had an increased level of DSL (0% in CG). The greatest dynamics were noted in the cognitive (+65.4% in EG4) and operational (+73.1%) components. Statistically significant differences (?2 Pearson) confirmed the effectiveness of the model, especially with the integrated implementation of all the three conditions (resulting in a synergetic effect). Practical significance: the model, diagnostic tools and conditions for developing DSL applicable in school education for the development of critical thinking and research competencies in a digital environment, have been tested.

The development of the marriage contract in modern Russia (on the example of existing legislative initiatives)

Mironov V.A.

Abstract

in this scientific article, the author examines in detail the problem of the risk of invalidation of a marriage contract. The position is substantiated, according to which the current reading of one of the grounds for invalidating the marriage contract (the presence in the text of the contract of conditions, the implementation of which puts one of the spouses in an extremely unfavorable position) creates conditions that allow unscrupulous spouses to abuse their rights. The author consistently criticizes one of the latest global legislative initiatives, which proposes, among other things, to adjust the approach to determining the conditions for invalidating a marriage contract, namely, to exclude the very concept of «conditions that put one of the spouses in an extremely unfavorable position» from Russian family legislation as such. According to the researcher, the implementation of the approach demonstrated in the initiative can significantly worsen the stability of the entire institution of the marriage contract, finally transforming it into a tool of manipulation. To substantiate the correctness of his own position, the author refers both to the works of recognized classics of legal doctrine and to the positions of modern practitioners, building an original system of arguments that reveal in detail the profound fallacy (and even danger) of the approach that, unfortunately, a number of domestic lawmakers have been trying to implement in recent years.

Pavlova E.V.

Abstract

the article analyzes the main provisions of the current regulatory legal acts, as well as the drafts of codified laws that establish the main elements of the legal status of a victim who is interested in the outcome of an administrative offense case, in order to identify certain problematic aspects of the implementation of the above provisions. A comparative legal analysis of the legislation on administrative offenses of the Russian Federation and foreign countries (the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan), which have a similar system of codified acts on administrative offenses, has been conducted in order to integrate certain provisions into the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The possibility of specifying the complex of rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the victim is substantiated. The need for a differentiated approach to defining the concept of a victim, both as an individual and as a collective, is indicated.
