Abstract
the article discusses the current problems of the implementation of social guarantees, rights and benefits of citizens of the Russian Federation discharged from military service. The regulatory framework for the social protection of military personnel is analyzed, and systemic deficiencies in the mechanisms for providing benefits and compensations are identified. The study is based on an analysis of modern legislation, statistical data and expert assessments of the state of the social protection system for military personnel. The main problems are identified: insufficient financing of social programs, bureaucratic barriers in obtaining benefits, uneven regional implementation of federal guarantees. The directions of improving the social protection system for military personnel are proposed, including optimizing the regulatory framework, improving interdepartmental interaction and creating effective control mechanisms.
