The image of the mother in the Chechen folklore and poetic tradition
Abstract
the image of mother in the folklore of the peoples of the world and national literatures is one of the stable universal archetypes, which usually appears in the same row with the constants "Motherland", "son", "honor", "dignity", "freedom", "defense of the Fatherland". The article analyzes the epic role of the mother in the formation of the worldview of the konakh – a worthy young man – in Chechen folklore and literature. Particular emphasis is placed on the "parting words of the mother" to the hero, which is used in the Chechen heroic-historical epic illi before the decisive event – the hero's battle with enemies. The author notes that the parting words have a stereotypical character, the same composition and set of artistic means and play an educational function, in it the Chechen mother defines the quintessence of the meaning of life of a worthy young man – the defender of the weak and his native land. The image of the mother is also considered based on the lyrical works of Magomet Mamakayev, Zaindi Mutalibov, Magomet Sulaev, Sharip Tsuruyev, Bana Gaitukayeva, Ibragim Yusupov. Attention is drawn to the features of the individual author's style and folklore traditions in the depiction of the mother.

Phatic metacommunication in dialogue
Abstract
the concept of phatic metacommunication in dialogue is examined as a key component of verbal interaction. Based on Roman Jakobson's communication model, the phatic function of language is identified as essential for establishing and maintaining contact between interlocutors. Phatic signals are analyzed at different stages of dialogue: initiating contact, sustaining interaction, and ending communication. Particular attention is given to the role of greetings, turn-taking markers, and politeness strategies in ensuring a smooth conversational flow. Existing approaches to phatic metacommunication are critiqued for their lack of a comprehensive methodology that accounts for both communicative principles and pragmatic factors. A structured approach is proposed to clarify the functions of phatic signals in dialogic contexts, emphasizing their role in achieving mutual understanding, maintaining engagement, and facilitating effective message exchange.

Cultural regulatives of "trial and endurance" in the semantics of Korean idioms and paremias
Abstract
the article is devoted to the analysis of the semantic features of Korean idioms and paremias, representing the cultural regulatives of "trial and endurance". To be endurance in difficult situations is valuable for Koreans. This is reflected not only in the fact that Koreans overcome difficulties selflessly, but also in the fact that they assert their priority over achievements and successes, emphasizing that the true value lies in the ability to cope with life's challenges, and not just in the final results. This experience is generalized in Korean culture and verbally fixed in Korean idioms and paremias. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the identification of semantic characteristics related to the cultural regulations of "trial and endurance". An analysis of Korean idioms and paremias shows that the linguistic units not only reflect cultural values and norms, but also form ideas about passing the test and maintaining resilience as an important element of the national identity of Koreans. In addition, the work includes a systematization of Korean idioms and paremias related to testing and perseverance, which creates a certain catalog of phraseological stock reflecting these concepts and can become the basis for further research in the field of Korean phraseology, idiomatic or paremiology.

Analyzing psychological chronotope in V.G. Rasputin's short novel “Farewell to Matyora”
Abstract
in the story “Farewell to Matyora” Rasputin builds a psychological chronotope of characters, psychological chronotope is a space-time continuum of the protagonist and the narrator; psychological chronotope is constructed by time, space, existence, events, consciousness and subconsciousness, which determines the characterization of the narrator or hero, his psychological portrait and outlook on life. The psychological chronotope in the story “Farewell to Matyora” blurs the boundaries between life and death, and the multidimensional connection between the worlds of the living and the dead connects local space with another dimension, reconnecting the time of a person's fate with the order of the world. The fantasies, dreams, memories and intuition of the characters of the psychological chronotope bring their consciousness closer to the universal truths of the natural universe, which are connected with Orthodox Christianity, personal memories and memories of ancestors, and mystical insights into the unity of life and death. The psychological chronotope in the story “Farewell to Matyora” enhances the mystery of the narrative and gives it an allegorical flavor.

The influence of geographical location on lexico-semantic pecularities of Spanish mass media texts
Abstract
the analysis of dialect features of Spanish regions in the context of mass media is of broad interest for scientific research on the development of language process under the influence of socio-cultural factors. The presented article reveals in detail the essence of specific pecularities of dialects as one of the varieties of language. For the experimental base of comparison of materials of Castilian, Basque and Argentine Spanish dialects were taken examples from news sites: "El pa?s", "El correo" and "Deia", "La naci?n". In the process of analyzing the influence of geographical location on lexico-semantic pecularities of mass media texts from different regions of Spain, separate attention was paid to the study of linguistic differences in terms of grammatical, lexical and phonetic units. Key aspects influencing the composition of the language of Spanish dialects and reflecting unique linguocultural features were identified. It is established that the geographical location of Spanish regions with Castilian, Basque and Argentine Spanish dialects reflects the specificity of the use of certain neologisms, toponyms, grammatical structures, lexical units, pronunciation features in Spanish-language media discourse. It is shown that expressive and voluminous headlines in the Spanish mass media are used in certain forms of temporal action for greater interest in readers.

The expressive function of occasionalisms in the style of V.V. Mayakovsky
Abstract
the article focuses on the pragmatic aspect of studying occasionalisms: the peculiarities of their functioning in artistic speech, namely, in the style of the outstanding futurist poet V. Mayakovsky. An attempt is made to give a word-formation, semantic, morphological and stylistic characteristic of individual word innovations, as well as to determine the role they play in the figurative system of the text. The author analyzes the productive and unproductive models of word formation used by the poet and considers examples of occasionalisms from his poems and verses, revealing the expressive and stylistic possibilities of individual authorial innovations. The author considers occasional metaphors, their connotative load, notes that occasional lexemes largely contribute to the creation of the figurative system of the text and are the means that form the author's style. The work repeatedly emphasizes the experimental nature of occasional word formation in the poet’s creative workshop, his desire to reveal the semantic and grammatical potential inherent in the language.

Lexical features of German business communication
Abstract
this article analyzes the lexical features of business communication as a key element of effective interaction in a professional environment. Business communication is considered as a communicative process aimed at solving a problem based on achieving the common interests of communicants and regulated by commercial law, including international law. The research material was samples of German-language business correspondence. The study identified the main types of lexical units involved in the design of oral and written business communication, such as terms, cliches, borrowings, internationalisms and neologisms. It was found that the choice of cliches depends on the genre and structure of business communication. The terminology used relates to the field of economics, management and marketing, which indicates the dominance of these areas in German-speaking business communication. Borrowings, internationalisms, and neologisms are typical of any type of business communication. The widespread use of borrowings from the English language is the result of globalization. Anglicisms can retain their original form, as well as participate in mixed constructions with German lexemes and combinations where lexemes are hyphenated. The appearance of neologisms in the obligatory structural elements of business correspondence reflects the dynamic processes in business communication aimed at improving its effectiveness.

Abstract
mass media texts tend to create the media image of the region. In the article one analyses the mass media texts of the glossy magazines of Vologda region within contact linguistics and linguistic ecology. The content of regional media texts is determined by geographical, administrative, economic, social, historical, ethnic and cultural factors. One of the typical linguistic features of these media texts is implementation of foreign lexical units – code-switches and borrowings into headlines, subheadings and the first paragraph of the article. The methods of semasiological, componential and correlation types of analysis form the methodological basis of the research. The authors emphasize that foreign lexical units in regional media texts are not used often; they are usually accompanied by translation equivalents, definitions and synonyms. The topics of articles, the linguistic landscape of the region, reflected in the mass media texts, and the tendency to the ecological use of foreign units (uniformity of graphics, the explanation of their meaning, moderate frequency) point out that the component of the Vologda region mass media image may be the people’s focus on innovations, in particular, in the professional field, business, lifestyle (sport, fashion and style, beauty industry).

The fabulous subtext of S. Dovlatov’s prose (based on the story “A Foreign Wowan”)
Abstract
with regard to S. Dovlatov's works, there is a confident opinion about the autobiographical nature of the prose and anecdote, which fulfils a plot-forming function; anecdote is often considered as the leading component on which the narrative is built. Understanding the comic vision as only one of the artistic techniques used by the author to depict reality, let us make an attempt to find the meanings hidden behind the external laconism of the writer's narrative manner, which are in the subtext. We put forward a hypothesis about the fairy-tale subtext of S. Dovlatov's story “A Foreign Woman”, which is consistently proved by correlating the content components of the story's fabula with the components of a fairy tale (based on V.Y. Propp's work ‘Morphology of a Fairy Tale’). The following, according to V.Y. Propp's definition, fairy tale functions reflected in the story of Marusya Tatarovich were described: excommunication, violation of the prohibition, kidnapper, sending on a journey, mysterious forest, initiation rite, the Faraway kingdom, magic givers, prince, princess, wedding, etc. The story of Marusya Tatarovich is based on the following elements of the fairy tale. The image of Marusya is built on the contamination of such types of heroes as the simpleton-luck seeker and the fortune-tester. According to the tradition of the magic fairy tale, the heroine leaves her native home, passes various tests, for overcoming which she receives a worthy reward – Marusya marries the ‘prince’ Raphael and receives, if not half a kingdom, then citizenship in America, that is, she stays in someone else's kingdom. The narrator acts as a storyteller (the fictional world lives according to its laws); the fairy tale helps Dovlatov fulfil the main function of a writer – to comfort the reader, to give hope for a miracle.

New wine and old wineskins: new content of biblical phraseology in modern Russian discourse
Abstract
the article is devoted to the analysis of the reasons that lead to the rupture of intertextual connections of Вiblical phraseology with the primary source. These include the loss by native speakers of sacred knowledge about the Вiblical phraseology (the plot of the parable, its allegorical meaning), the semantic perspective of the parable as a genre, oblivion, and reinterpretation of archaism or historicism as part of a phraseological unit. Using the example of the biblical phraseology return of the prodigal son, it is shown how in Russian linguoculture, based on the old model, a new, rather flexible phraseological unit is created, which has the potential of endless variations. Biblical phraseological unit almost completely loses its connection with the original source (the Bible), nevertheless turning out to be a stable structure that can be filled with new semantics due to the potential variability of one of the components. The article shows that the weakening of ties with the primary source, the Biblical text, makes many Russian Biblical phraseological units a ready–made form for new experiments in discourse, which can be demonstrated based on data from the National Corpus of the Russian Language. The purpose of the article is to show the reasons for the transformation of the meaning of Вiblical phraseology in modern Russian discourse. The objectives of the article are to demonstrate the possibilities of transforming the semantics and structure of Biblical phraseological units. The practical significance lies in the fact that the results obtained can be used in teaching practice and translation activities.

Methodology of linguistic research of linguistic aspects of beliefs of the Khanty people
Abstract
the article is devoted to the issues of methodology and methods of linguistic research of the linguistic aspects of traditional beliefs of the Khanty people. The methodology of such research should be based on the principles of anthropologism and interdisciplinarity, which implies, along with the use of linguistic methods, also the methods of cultural studies, folklore studies, ethnology and other sciences studying the traditional beliefs of the indigenous peoples of the North. The relevant linguistic methodology of the study was developed by L. Weisberger and assumes, firstly, the identification and study of the "internal form of language" and, secondly, the study of linguistic units both in statics and in dynamics. Thus, the following should be analyzed, first of all, the substantives of the sacred; verbal vocabulary representing the cognitive-pragmatic aspect of the interaction of reality, thinking and language in the formation and existence of the linguistic side of the mythological-religious picture of the world; phraseological structures; an integral mythological text. The final stage of the study is a cultural interpretation of the obtained linguistic conclusions.

On the correlation of gender neutral and gender specific vocabulary in the texts of modern British and American newspapers
Abstract
the article concerns the tendency of using gender-neutral vocabulary in American and British press. At the first stage of the research an overview of theoretical studies is carried out for the purpose of covering the most essential aspects of feminist language criticism. The second part of the research is an analysis of language material selected from the authoritative American and British newspapers such as The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post and some others. The sampling amounts to 150 vocabulary units. The authors analyse the root of gender-specific vocabulary and the degree of its use in the newspaper texts. The quantitative analysis result reveals the predominance of gender-specific vocabulary over the gender-neutral vocabulary. The authors come to a conclusion that many linguistic innovations, proposed by the advocates of the feminist language reform are not supported by the factual language material and have not become widespread. The exceptions are some words and constructions that have already entered the general use, such as “a police officer” or “a firefighter”, as well as the construction that includes the pronoun “their” with an indefinite pronoun as its antecedent.

Originality of conceptual content of adjectives of non-physical characteristics of human
Abstract
this article examines adjectives of non-physical characteristics of a person from a conceptual point of view, since these adjectives are included in the group of properties that characterize his main spiritual individuality and uniqueness, which made it possible to identify lexical-semantic groups (hereinafter referred to as LSG) according to the cognitive principle and consider evaluative and neutral components. Based on conceptual criteria, we received a certain picture of the non-physical characteristics of a person, entrenched in language. Adjectives related to the physical sphere undergo metaphorical transfer in the cognitive sphere and begin to denote a non-physical sphere associated with human mentality and behavior. Adjectives of non-physical characteristics play an important role in language, since they carry a semantic evaluation, which emphasizes the subjective and anthropocentric nature of the linguistic material. The classification of adjectives of this group is carried out not only on the basis of linguistic criteria, but also taking into account extra-linguistic factors. The main differentiating feature of NFC adjectives is not their material form or structure, but the relationships and meanings that they acquire in the context of speech activity. Thus, NFC adjectives do not simply describe qualities or states, but also reflect subjective assessments and feelings that may vary depending on the context.

Features of rationing the training load in the process of training judoka immediately before the competition
Abstract
the article discusses the features of rationing the training load in the process of training judoka immediately before the competition. Specificity, orientation, coordination complexity, and load size were taken into account. Based on the results of our own research, we have developed a quantitative load value for weekly cycles, which made it possible to plan the training load with sufficient accuracy, both in volume and intensity. It was found that judoka of high ranks, as a rule, successfully compete in competitions if their total load immediately before the competition is 1100 minutes, and the relative intensity does not exceed 70%. At the same time, small differences in the purpose of training loads have a serious impact on the success of judoka's performance in competitions.

Teaching young hockey players how to use a stick at the initial stage of sports training
Abstract
the article presents the rationale for the methodology of teaching children aged 8-9 years who play ice hockey based on the asymmetry of hand actions with a stick. Floorball tools are proposed for teaching and developing the basics of motor action techniques with a hockey stick with both the dominant and non-dominant hand. Lightweight hockey equipment was used during the lessons. Teaching ball handling (and a lightweight puck), passing and assisting was carried out both statically and dynamically, both from the side convenient for the child and from the side inconvenient for execution. Attention was focused on creating game situations and conditions in which the young hockey player had to perform motor actions with a stick from the inconvenient side to solve the motor task. At the initial stage of sports training in the annual training cycle of young hockey players, within the framework of general and special physical, as well as technical training, 27 to 30% of the training time was allocated based on the use of floorball equipment with an emphasis on the formation of skills and abilities in handling a stick with both the right and left hand in children aged 8-9 years. Based on the results of the annual pedagogical experiment, it was found that the young hockey players who trained according to a special method aimed at mastering technical techniques with a stick from both the comfortable and uncomfortable side, the results of performing control tests are reliably higher than in the control group. Also, reliably better indicators of the development of coordination abilities were recorded in young hockey players of the experimental group. The developed method can be recommended for coaches involved in the preparation of sports reserves in ice hockey.

Teaching foreign students speech strategy of using euphemisms
Abstract
the article considers the methodology of teaching foreign students the euphemisms of Russian language as an important aspect of developing communicative and intercultural competencies. Euphemization is considered as a strategy of speech maneuvering aimed at minimizing communicative risks. It is noted that knowledge of foreign audience about the phenomenon of euphemism also contributes to understanding the national identity of the Russian language picture of the world. Based on the "Dictionary of Euphemisms of the Russian Language" by E. P. Senichkina, the author compiles a thematic classification of euphemisms, highlighting topics from the spheres of a person's personal and social life, the discussion of which can contribute to communicative failures and requires from foreign students using the euphemisms. The article proposes a possible algorithm of work with euphemisms at the classes of Russian as a foreign language, which includes three main stages: recognition of a euphemism; analysis of the meaning and motives for using a euphemism; independent use of euphemisms taking into account the communicative situation. As a methodological tool, it presents a variety of possible exercises, created for foreign students whose level of proficiency in Russian corresponds to level B2 and above. A conclusion is made about the necessity to include learning euphemistic vocabulary in the content of teaching Russian as a foreign language, since mastering the technique of euphemization contributes not only to the formation of communicative competence, but also to an understanding of the national and cultural characteristics of Russian linguistic culture.

Abstract
this article substantiates the tools of pilot research of the level of formation of pedagogical knowledge and skills among residents and analyzes its results. The main approaches to the organization of research activities are andragogical, activity, competence, and contextual approaches. The results of descriptive statistics made it possible to assert that the respondents have a low level of formation of pedagogical knowledge and skills. The author draws attention to the fact that in the process of training pediatricians to solve pedagogical problems, an important role belongs, first of all, to the contextual approach, which involves the use of medical and pedagogical situations that illustrate the features of interaction between a pediatrician and patients and the possibility of applying pedagogical knowledge and skills in solving pedagogical problems. It is proposed to turn to andragogical methods in training, since their use allows you to take into account the requests, educational needs of adults, develop their professional and value orientations and humanistic orientation of professional medical activity. At present, in connection with the training of pediatricians to solve pedagogical problems in medical activities in professional medical education, it is relevant to develop updated training models that use methods of active, interactive, simulation work and such teaching tools as medical and pedagogical situations.

Innovative approaches to adaptive vocabulary teaching in Russian as a foreign language: the role of artificial intelligence and gamification
Abstract
this paper focuses on investigating the influence of integrating innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence and gamification, on the adaptive learning of vocabulary in Russian as a foreign language. Within the framework of this study, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the role of gamification elements aimed at enhancing student motivation. Gamification, as an approach that allows students to engage with educational material in an entertaining and playful manner, significantly improves their involvement, activates interest, and facilitates more effective learning of new content. Additionally, the paper also examines the impact of adaptive systems based on artificial intelligence on the personalization of the educational process. These systems are capable of taking into account the individual needs and learning pace of each student, which allows for more precise selection of exercises, tasks, and materials corresponding to their knowledge levels and interests. As a result of the conducted analysis, it was established that the use of game mechanics not only contributes to a deeper engagement of students in the learning process but also significantly enhances vocabulary acquisition while fostering a positive attitude towards learning. Students who participate in gamified activities demonstrate a greater interest in language study, which positively affects their academic performance and overall motivation to master Russian as a foreign language. Thus, the findings of the study underscore the importance of integrating modern teaching technologies to create a more effective and engaging educational environment.

The role of emotions and intelligence in the process of physical education classes with students
Abstract
one of the main tasks of physical education in higher education institutions is to increase the level of physical performance of students, which is necessary for a future young specialist to perform work tasks for a longer and more intensive period. The article focuses on the role of emotions and intellectual mental activity in the process of performing physical exercises by students in physical education classes. It is shown that the emotions experienced by students as satisfaction from performing physical exercises, and their subsequent mental processing at the intellectual level of mental activity, contribute to better performance of physical exercises and increase overall physical fitness. The relevance of our topic is due to the low indicators of the functional abilities of the body of first-year students of the Vladimir branch of the RANEPA. This circumstance does not allow students to fulfill the program test standards in physical education classes at the university. Therefore, we assume that the use of an emotional and intellectual method of restoring the body after physical exertion in the classes of first-year students of the Vladimir branch of the RANEPA will increase their level of physical and functional fitness, which will contribute to the successful completion of test exercises. The results of the experiment allowed us to conclude that the emotions and intellectual activity of students in physical education classes contribute to increasing physical activity and functional abilities of the body of students.
