The impact of big data, automation, and tool standardization on sociological research methods for integrated communications

Vydrina A.S.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the consideration of several phenomena of transformation of modern sociological methods associated with the all-consuming digitalization of public life. Based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of various digital products intended for the implementation of research using sociological methods, the author tried to generalize and identify these phenomena. Automation of processes, standardization of tools and work with big data (collection, analytics, combination with other studies) seem to be the most important, or at least the most noticeable phenomena of the last ten years. The review included big data management platforms, complex and targeted automated offers, recruiting services, web analytics systems, special software for research of digital behavior, phenomena and processes of digital culture. As well as standardized methods in the field of image communications and the so-called user experience (UX), and despite the fact that standardized tools are used in commercial research, many theorists have noticed their repeating effectiveness. According to the author, this may indicate the stability of some digital phenomena, which means that they can be tried to be used in theoretically significant studies in order to find knowledge. For clarity, the field of integrated communications research is taken as an example, since it has not only the largest number of classical sociological, but now also the latest research methods, which are implemented in three areas: commercial marketing, applied sociological and media research. The author sets his goal not just a description, but an analysis of the influence of these phenomena not only on empirical processes, but also on sociological methodology in the future. And also on the process of adaptation or even transformation of the methodology towards studying the digital behavior of people, digital culture and the life of society by the end of the first quarter of the 21st century.

Sociological study of adaptation of young specialists from single-parent and complete families to the professional environment

Bondarenko O.V.

Abstract

in today's rapidly changing world, successful adaptation of young specialists to the professional environment is a key factor in their career growth and personal well-being. However, the process of adaptation of young people may differ depending on various aspects of their life experience, including the type of their family environment. The purpose of the work is to analyze and compare the process of adaptation of young specialists from complete and single-parent families to the professional environment. To achieve this goal, a sociological study was conducted with the participation of 132 working students, aimed at analyzing the process of adaptation of young specialists to the professional environment depending on the type of their family environment. The participants were equally divided between students from complete and single-parent families – 66 people each. Data collection methods included questionnaires for students and their employers, as well as interviews. The analysis showed that young professionals from single-parent families experience higher levels of stress and have less social support compared to those who grew up in complete families. In addition, participants from complete families demonstrate higher rates of professional achievement and effective strategies for coping with stress. However, young people from single-parent families also demonstrate significant independence and the ability to self-develop. Based on the data obtained, practical recommendations for both employers and educational institutions are proposed for more effective support and professional adaptation of students of any type of family environment.

Bosov D.V., Kulemina L.B.

Abstract

the article deals with A. I. Stronin's concept of organicism in the perspective of sociological study of society. The analysis of the sociologist's original ideas was based on such methods as organicist, comparativist, comparative-historical, systemic, sociosynergetic, structural-functional, psychoanalytical and historical-sociological. Culture of managing the process of comprehensive rehabilitation of the disabled in Russia: research approaches and features

Evstropova S.V.

Abstract

the article provides a general description of the problem field of the formation of a culture of management of the process of comprehensive rehabilitation of the disabled. The main approaches to identifying the problems and principles of a culture of integrated rehabilitation management, taking into account local conditions, are considered. Based on a survey of people with disabilities and interviews with experts, the feedback mechanisms of departments and other management entities with people with disabilities are revealed, which are implemented in specific local conditions using the example of Nizhny Novgorod. The author comes to the conclusion that many problems of the management culture of complex rehabilitation of the disabled arise as a result of ignoring the specifics of the socio-cultural environment of the disabled, socio-cultural parameters and the needs of the disabled themselves. In the analysis of the results of empirical data presented in the form of a table, an assessment of the role of the socially active, positive-offensive position of the disabled is given. In this context, the importance of feedback management of the social and medical process in terms of providing the disabled with relevant information about services is shown. Different points of view are analyzed. A sociocultural concept is proposed in understanding disability and health when they are not separated from social institutions in general and culture. The phenomenon of the health and personality of a sick person, a disabled person, is not only his externally expressed individual biological characteristics, but also moral, cultural, religious, lifestyle and communication. The causes of disability, the structure of disability, and the structure of social actors of interdepartmental interaction in the provision of medical and social assistance and services to people with disabilities change depending on the nature of the transformation of society's culture and the complex historical situation that has arisen. The study, despite the contradictions between the departments revealed in it, showed that there is reason to be optimistic about the possibility of creating a high culture of managing the process of comprehensive rehabilitation and habilitation of the disabled.

Reproduction of natural resources in the context of the movement of value and the use value

Popov E.S.

Abstract

the article analyzes the theoretical and methodological aspects of the cost reproduction of natural resources in historical dynamics. There is a review in the scientific literature of various aspects and methods of analyzing the reproduction of natural resources within the framework of the movement of social capital. It is noted that in the cost schemes of reproduction, more attention is paid to the reproduction of land resources as fixed capital. The application of the fundamentals of the labor theory of consumer value to the reproduction of natural resources is considered. The principles of reproduction of natural resources based on consumer value are described as the excess of labor results over labor costs. The results obtained demonstrate that the presented cost-based method makes it possible to save labor and time for an industrial consumer and an individual consumer, minus the costs of a producer who appropriates natural resources, as well as labor costs for an industrial restorer of natural objects. In conclusion, the author's formula for the reproduction of natural resources based on the labor theory of consumer value is proposed.

International transactions under sanctions: global experiences and prospects

Kuznetsov A.S.

Abstract

in today’s world, economic sanctions have become one of the key instruments of political pressure on states and their financial institutions. This article examines global practices in the application of sanctions (focusing on the examples of Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, and Russia) and explores the mechanisms that enable partial circumvention of restrictions in the field of international transactions. The study analyses the role of alternative payment systems and national currencies, including attempts at de-dollarization, and evaluates the prospects and risks of their use for different categories of businesses. It concludes that all currently available “workaround” solutions carry high transaction, regulatory, and reputational risks, and can only be effective for limited volumes. In the long run, the most viable strategy appears to be further development of settlements in national currencies and the creation of independent payment infrastructures, although achieving a complete replacement of the dollar-based system in the foreseeable future remains highly challenging.

Digital transformation and digitalization and modern methods for diagnosing the level of digital maturity of companies

Mailov E.I., Asadullina A.V.

Abstract

in recent years, approaches to implementing digital transformation strategies, digitization, and increasing a company's level of digital maturity have been actively discussed in research literature. Terminological confusion and the perception of these concepts as interchangeable complicate the development and implementation of comprehensive digital transformation programs for companies. Therefore, this article first attempts to systematically and clearly outline the distinguishing features of the definitions of digitization and digital transformation. It is noted that the latter has a more radical, transformative nature, involving changes at all levels of the organization, its culture, and customer interactions, and has a strategic focus. Next, we review existing approaches to assessing a company's level of digital maturity, which determines its readiness for new digital transformations. We conclude that current assessment methodologies often lack transparency, that the evaluation indicators are often equivalent, and that they do not take into account the specificities of the company's activities and industry environment. Based on these findings, we propose preliminary ways to improve the methodology for assessing digital maturity, helping to form actionable plans and digital transformation strategies.

Principles of land legislation for conducting tourist activities in rural areas

Galimova L.I.

Abstract

given global changes such as climate conditions, demand for organic products and the development of agritourism, it is necessary to review existing legislation. The diversity of agritourism enterprise formats requires flexibility and adaptation of rules to support the development of this area and ensure the legal rights of landowners and farmers. Agricultural producers often get confused in land law regulations and use agricultural land for recreational services, thereby violating the law and incurring penalties. The need to understand land legislation is key for agritourism enterprises. Farmers must clearly understand which categories of land are suitable for tourism activities and which are directly subject to restrictions. The most common mistake is the conversion of agricultural land into recreational zones without obtaining the appropriate permits, which leads to significant financial losses. The article provides a description of the land plot from the standpoint of category, types of permitted use, territorial zone. The aim of the study was to identify common problems of tourism activities in agricultural areas. An attempt was made to present the results of the analysis of administrative practice and interpret the regulatory documents of government agencies. The procedure for testing a land plot for suitability in terms of building accommodation facilities on agricultural lands is described. Approaches to adaptation to the requirements of land legislation are disclosed. Recommendations are given on how to implement your goals in the field of rural tourism development without violating the law.

Kazakova T.V.

Abstract

a modern company operates in an ever-changing business landscape characterized by an extremely high degree of uncertainty. Among the main drivers of change, special attention should be paid to geopolitics, ecology and digitalization, as the most significant factors of unpredictability. In these conditions, in order to maintain the achieved positions and further successful development, organizations are forced to constantly improve themselves, each time trying to adapt as much as possible to the ever-recurring requirements of the surrounding business reality. The management of enterprises is obliged to constantly search for the most rational and optimal strategic solutions, analyze and systematize the experience of the past in order to create a new successful and unique future. Despite numerous scientific works by domestic and foreign researchers on the topic of effective management, the issues of managing business entities in conditions of uncertainty remain not fully understood. This article suggests the idea of a structural and functional approach to the implementation of strategic human resource management and shows an example of successful testing of the proposed tools in practice. The author presents theoretical provisions and practical arguments proving that strengthening the key functional characteristics (preventativeness, adaptability, dynamism, flexibility, diversity) of each component of the proposed structure of the social component will not only solve the current tasks of the enterprise as quickly as possible, but will create a solid foundation for successful adaptation to any future conditions of the surrounding business reality.

The factors that lead to low sales are analysed: lack of faith in the product and company, toxic atmosphere, destructive criticism, non-transparent career development criteria and negative financial attitudes. Special attention is paid to unconscious barriers – fear of more money, guilt about the profession, low self-esteem and lack of confidence in one's own abilities. Working with these barriers requires a comprehensive approach, including a mentoring system, introduction of clear regulations, raising the status of the sales profession within the company and continuous training of employees. Author's studies (O.A. Kolsanova, N.V. Katkova, E.V. Pertseva, etc.) confirm the importance of constructive criticism, transparent motivation and healthy working environment for increasing conversion and preventing staff burnout. It is emphasised that salespeople who are confident in the product and the company are more productive and able to build trusting relationships with customers. Thus, the conclusions of this article will be useful to business owners, heads of sales departments, HR-managers and everyone who seeks to form a strong team in their company, focused on long-term results.

Methods of testing and improving webinar funnels in digital marketing

Ishimov D.V.

Abstract

the article explores the essential characteristics, testing methods, and ways to improve webinar funnels in digital marketing. The key tools for attracting and retaining the target audience are characterized. The relevance of the topic under discussion is justified by the intense growth in popularity of webinars as an effective way of communicating with clients against the background of increasing global digitalization. The main and most acute problem is the lack of systematization of testing approaches in this area and adaptation to changing user expectations. The purpose of the study is to identify and characterize the methodological foundations for evaluating and optimizing webinar funnels, as well as to formulate the author's view on their configuration to achieve marketing targets. Contradictions have been found in the literature: some studies focus on technological aspects (data analytics, automation), others focus on the content, psychological features of interaction with the audience. As a result of the work, it was concluded that the successful use of webinar funnels requires a combination of a personalized approach to content, the introduction of modern analytical tools, and regular testing of all stages of user interaction. The author's contribution consists in proposals for automation of post-webinar communications. The article will be useful for marketers, entrepreneurs, digital product developers, and researchers studying digitalization resources.

Tagiev M.I., Nikitenko E.B.

Abstract

the article examines the main shortcomings of the legislation on oil and gas extraction on forest fund lands. The Russian forest industry in the 21st century faces a number of serious problems that affect its efficiency and development. Extraction of minerals in the depths of the forest fund lands today is the economy of Russia. Oil and gas extraction in the forest fund occupies a special place and dictates the conditions that must be taken into account. Large reserves of oil and gas, the level of exploration and development of deposits have a direct impact on the unstable forest industry and social development of the regions. Despite a number of scientific studies, the problem of using the forest fund for the extraction of minerals in the depths of the earth remains partially unresolved. The paper analyzes the problems of the forest and oil and gas industries arising at the level of legislative regulation of regulatory documents. The imperfection of the negative system in the form of a mismatch of business interests is noted. It is argued that all this in expansion requires a significant increase, a significant rise in the cost of raw material extraction and requires an increase in the volume of geological exploration to discover new deposits. The purpose of the research work determined the alarming situation and irrational use of the forest fund without special recommendations from specialists of forest institutes. Oil and gas production in the USA, exclusively in the forest fund in the north of the country, and this limits the use of certain territories for other activities. The object of the study is the forest fund and oil and gas fields. The subject of the study is the conflict of interests of business between the oil and gas and forestry sectors. Methods: this study used the method of analyzing regulatory documents and scientific literature, which made it possible to establish the advantage of using the forest and oil and gas areas together.
