Mirzayeva I.I., Mirzoeva M.A., Imilikova R.M., Hamsurkhadzhieva M.H.

Abstract

the goal: to investigate the information needs of patients undergoing cardiological rehabilitation and identify the factors influencing these needs. Materials and methods. The prospective study included patients from the Dagestan Cardiology Center who underwent rehabilitation after myocardial infarction or procedures such as percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafting. The socio-demographic and psychological characteristics of patients, as well as their interest in various aspects of health information, have been studied. Questionnaires and data from electronic medical records were used. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 24.0. Results. The study showed that a low level of education and quality of life are associated with less interest in information about nutrition and physical activity. Women and patients with high levels of anxiety showed greater interest in information about psychological well-being. At the same time, a large number of concomitant diseases reduced interest in information about medicines. Conclusions. A personalized approach, the introduction of digital technologies and the integration of psychological support are key elements in meeting the information needs of patients in cardiological rehabilitation. These measures can help improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and improve treatment outcomes.

Use of Alflutop in complex treatment of patients with osteoarthritis

Chopalayeva A.G., Shugaeva K.Y., Magomedova R.G., Agayeva E.N.

Abstract

rheumatoid diseases, including osteoarthritis (OA), are serious and widespread disorders of the musculoskeletal system, characterized by damage to all joint structures, especially articular cartilage, subchondral bone, synovial membrane, as well as concomitant involvement of periarticular soft tissues in the inflammatory process, which significantly reduces the range of motion in the joints. According to WHO, over 170 million people worldwide suffer from OA. In developed countries, approximately 15% of the population is affected by this problem. In Russia, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which include OA, rank third among causes of disability, second only to cardiovascular and oncological diseases, being one of the main causes of temporary loss of working capacity. The number of OA cases is growing year after year: if 2,769,901 cases were registered in 2016, then by 2019 the number had increased to 2,978,435. Recent studies show that the presence of OA increases the risk of mortality by 1.7 times [11]. Osteoarthritis is one of the causes of early loss of working capacity and disability. Previously, OA was considered part of the normal aging process; with age, the risk of the disease does increase, for example, among people over 50, the prevalence reaches 30%, and after 60 – up to 98%. However, modern studies confirm that OA is an independent disease, different from natural age-related changes in joints. Objective of the study: to evaluate the clinical efficacy of combination therapy with Alflutop and NSAIDs in comparison with NSAID monotherapy.

Modern possibilities of pharmacotherapy of bipolar affective disorder

Sokolova T.F., Fominykh S.G., Sokolov E.Y., Yemelyanov Y.V., Razumovskaya A.A.

Abstract

the article presents current data on the possibilities of pharmacotherapy of bipolar affective disorder. The literature is reviewed in PubMed and Google databases with the analysis of full-text articles, systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, and meta-analyses. The evidence base for the effectiveness and safety of medicines for the treatment of both manic and depressive symptoms of bipolar disorder has been collected. The obtained materials indicate the value and risks of treating patients with bipolar affective disorder with mood stabilizers, anticonvulsants, antidepressants, and atypical antipsychotics. The work carried out has shown that today the choice of medicines remains extremely difficult, since none of them is universally effective, all of them have side effects expressed to varying degrees and act mainly on one of the phases of the BAD. Thus, normotimics are better able to stop the manic and, to a lesser extent, the depressive phase. The anticonvulsant lamotrigine is highly effective in the treatment of the depressive phase of BAD. In some cases, antidepressant therapy not only does not have the desired effect, but also worsens the condition of patients with episodes of depression, leads to rapid cycle changes, and increases the risk of suicide. Atypical antipsychotics quetiapine, cariprazine are the most versatile drugs for the treatment of BAR. This is due to the unique pharmacological action of the drugs, the ability to stop both manic and depressive phases of the disease, very good tolerability, and a low level of undesirable effects.

Analysis of the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases in the Far North in the Russian literature

Ivanova E.G.

Abstract

the unfavorable natural and climatic conditions of the Far North, such as extremely low temperatures, fluctuations in atmospheric pressure, a lack of natural illumination, disturbances in the geomagnetic field, and a low content of bioelements in drinking water remain one of the significant causes that deplete the adaptive resources of the human body. In particular, this is reflected in the form of tension in the regulatory mechanisms of the heart. The article provides an overview of modern Russian literature aimed at studying the weather conditions of the Russian North on the development of cardiovascular diseases. The development of targeted preventive measures in the northern regions requires the consolidation of various author groups to conduct research on large cohorts of participants, taking into account the characteristics of the population and local climatic and geographical factors. The articles included in the review differ significantly in their methodological approaches to conducting research, which may be useful in planning future research on this topic.

Biological properties and pathogenicity factors of Helicobacter pylori

Magomedov A.M., Abdulgalimova G.N., Gadzhimurzaeva N.O.

Abstract

Helicobacter pylori is the cause of the most common infection in the world population. The causative agent of Helicobacteriosis is a gram-negative bacterium with unique biological properties that facilitate its survival and colonisation of the human gastric mucosa. This microorganism has the ability to survive in the acidic environment of the stomach due to the production of urease, which neutralises gastric acid. In recent years, many studies have been published that provide new insights into the mechanisms used by H. pylori to adapt to the extremely acidic conditions of the gastric environment. These mechanisms contribute to the establishment of persistent infection and the dysregulation of host functions, which in turn leads to GI diseases and cancer development. The article discusses the features of biological properties and pathogenicity of H. pylori, including its virulence factors.

Characteristics of somatic and obstetric-gynecological anamnesis of pregnant women with various types of surgical correction of isthmic-cervical insufficiency

Kuzmich D.V., Gaidukov S.N., Rukhlyada N.N.

Abstract

the purpose of the study: to analyze and form various risk groups of pregnant women according to the somatic and reproductive health of pregnant women with isthmic-cervical insufficiency during its surgical correction. Materials and methods. The results of the analysis of the health of pregnant women with shortening of the cervix, who underwent surgical correction of the cervix by two different methods, are presented. The sample included 80 patients with isthmic-cervical insufficiency with shortening of the cervix, including prolapse of the fetal bladder, at the gestation period of 13-26 weeks. Of these, 60 pregnant women were corrected with a single suture (core group), and 20 had a "double" suture(reference group). A clinical and laboratory examination was carried out. Results. The pregnancy outcomes of each patient in two groups were studied. Based on the data obtained, the percentage of both reproductive and somatic pathology was determined. A high percentage of somatic pathology was revealed in patients with isthmic-cervical insufficiency in the control group, especially diseases of the urinary system. For diseases of the hemostasis system, data were obtained indicating a greater number of cases of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women of the control group. Pregnant women have a history of problems with reproductive function, such as infertility, spontaneous abortions, inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs. Particularly high numbers were obtained in the control group. The outcomes of pregnancy after the selected surgical manipulation in each group were evaluated. Conclusion. Women with isthmic-cervical insufficiency were more often classified as older reproductive age. Also, women with a high parity of childbirth were at risk according to the isthmic-cervical insufficiency. It turned out that with the parity of childbirth, the timing of the development of isthmic-cervical insufficiency progresses with each new pregnancy. In the case of a "new" pregnancy, the period of occurrence of isthmic-cervical insufficiency is 2-3 weeks earlier than the previous pregnancy. An important factor is the presence of isthmic-cervical insufficiency in previous pregnancies, which already suggests a risk group for the development of isthmic-cervical insufficiency.

Etiopathogenetic principles of treatment of acne vulgaris

Nasrulaeva K.N., Magomedova Z.S., Alkhazova R.T., Magomedova R.G., Tabueva A.V.

Abstract

common acne is one of the most common skin diseases and affects almost the entire population. The mechanism of skin changes in this disease is complex. The anatomical localization of the painful process is the sebaceous glands and the mouths of the hair follicles. During puberty, the sebaceous glands, under the influence of androgenic hormones, begin to produce sebum in large quantities, which gets on the surface of the skin, irritates the ducts of the sebaceous glands and stimulates their excessive keratinization. This leads to a blockage of the hair sac and swelling of the adjacent sebaceous gland. As a result, non-inflammatory, stagnant phenomena occur in the form of open and closed gums. In the sebaceous glands clogged in this way, filled with sebum and deprived of oxygen, favorable conditions are formed for the development of saprophytic bacteria from the Propionibacterium acnes group. These bacteria have the ability to decompose complex lipids to form highly irritating fatty acids, activate complement, and thus are a strong chemotoxic factor for neutrophil granulocytes and cause an inflammatory process. In the case of rupture of the wall of a blocked sebaceous gland due to excessive accumulation of sebum or cosmetic intervention in the area of the comedone, the contents of a small cyst flow into the skin itself, and this leads to an accumulation of neutrophil granulocytes.

"Psychology of Neurodynamic disorders in mental activity and the mechanism of empathy" The role of mirror neurons in interpreting the phenomenon of neuro intuition

Yagudin D.R., Pavlova I.V.

Abstract

mirror neurons are special neurons in the human brain that activate when following the actions of other people. Interest in them is interesting from the perspective of the process itself, i.e. which mirror neurons of the corresponding parts of the brain are activated when performing certain actions by another person, as well as from the perspective of how this process affects the understanding of other people, reading them. In this context, the question of what role they play in interpreting the phenomenon of neurointuition also remains important and relevant. The relationship between neurointuition and mirror neurons can be traced, first of all, in the fact that observing other people, a person activates similar mirror neurons, as if he himself were performing such actions. Based on this fact, it can be noted that neurointuition is a complex process involving mirror neurons in different parts of the brain, which allow a person to intuitively read and predict the world around them on an intuitive level. In the article, authors conducted an analysis of modern scientific papers on the problem of mirror neuron research. Further, authors of the article conducted a study of the concept of such a phenomenon as neurointuition. During the previous stages, authors identified and evaluated the role of mirror neurons in interpreting the phenomenon of neurointuition. After analyzing the system of mirror neurons in the human brain, revealing the features of their activation when reading other people, authors concluded that mirror neurons act as a neural basis for imitating behavior, imitative learning, and interpreting the actions of others. It is important that if the observer perceives even part of the sequence of actions, then the mirror neurons of his brain will reflect the entire process, complementing the observed fragments to the probable complete sequence of events.

Dynamics of international students’ perception of the educational environment in higher education

Maximova N.A.

Abstract

the study is dedicated to the analysis of the dynamics of the perception of the educational environment of higher education institutions by international students. The primary research methods involved psychodiagnostic testing, methods of mathematical and statistical data processing, and interpretative methods. At each stage of academic and professional activities, the perception of the educational environment by students undergoes changes. These changes are associated with a transition from dependent and passive characteristics to active and independent ones. The dynamics indicate a growth in both personal and professional competencies of international students, which is confirmed by their engagement in the educational process. The results obtained may serve as a basis for the development of programs supporting international students.

Influence of features of interaction with parents of first-year students on the choice of behavior strategy in conflict situations

Borisova I.V., Naumov M.V., Uspenskaya I.M., Shelegin I.V.

Abstract

in this paper, the authors investigate the influence of some features of interaction with parents of first-year university students on the choice of behavior strategies in conflict situations. A theoretical analysis of the concept of "conflict" is carried out, and references are given to the works of authors dealing with this issue. The work describes the specifics of student age: instability of emotional state; incompletely formed values; a penchant for maximalism. In addition to the theoretical part, an experiment takes up a significant part of the work. Its purpose is to establish specific relationships between how students interact with their mother and which strategy of behavior in conflict is predominant. It has been established that 1st year students have a high level of autonomy. At the same time, there are signs indicating that the process of separation from parents has not yet been fully completed. The result of the work is presented in the form of a table showing the correlations described above. It was found that there is a direct correlation between the prevailing tactics of competition and cooperation in the family. There is also a direct relationship between the frequency of choosing adaptation tactics in conflict situations and the mother’s demandingness. It is concluded that the nature of interaction with the mother determines the behavior of students in controversial situations. As a result of the study, it was noted that the process of developing a style of behavior in young people in conflict situations is greatly influenced by the relationship and model of interaction with parents, in particular with the mother. Interpretation of the received data was carried out. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn and practical recommendations were given to teachers and students.

Relationship between individual styles of self-regulation of functional state and components of self-organization in the conditions of educational activities

Yadrishchenskaya T.V.

Abstract

the article discusses the results of a comparative analysis of individual styles of self-regulation of the functional state according to L.G. Dikaya and V.I. Shchedrov in a student group in 2020 and 2024, such as harmonious, costly, economical and cumulative. In 2020, the study group is dominated by students with optimal self-regulation styles, such as harmonious and cumulative, while in 2024, the leading group styles in the respondent group of students are non-optimal styles, such as costly and economical, which requires the development of recommendations for these students on conscious planning and organization of educational activities. The relationship between the studied self-regulation styles and the components of self-organization according to A.D. Ishkov, such as goal-setting, situation analysis, planning, self-control, volitional efforts and the general level of self-organization, was studied. In the course of the conducted research we established statistically reliable correlation relationships between the ergotropic indices, such as the total deviation from the autogenic norm and the vegetative coefficient, and the components of self-organization, on the other hand, which indicates the relationship between the physiological and personal levels in the formation of individual styles of mental state, implemented through the activity approach. The results of the one-factor analysis of variance based on the values of the Fisher F-criterion indicate that the variance between individual styles of self-regulation of the functional state in the responding students is significantly different from the intra-group variance, which indicates the presence of inter-level interactions between the psychophysiological and personal levels of human regulatory mechanisms.

Type of thinking as a personal determinant of students' inclinations to research activities

Egorova I.A., Konovalova N.V.

Abstract

nowadays, students are required not only to participate in the implementation of various projects, but also to create them, recruit a team to work and obtain the necessary results and implement projects in practice. Such skills can be successfully developed in the research activities of students. However, there are individual characteristics and preferences of various components of research activities that may depend on various factors. The purpose of the study is to study the scientific inclinations of students with different types of thinking. The subject of the study is scientific aptitudes, and the object is 2nd year college students of various specialties. The research hypothesis is based on the assumption that students with different types of thinking will have different inclinations and preferences in the components of scientific activity. The research methods were theoretical analysis of scientific literature, testing, questionnaires, methods of mathematical statistics. The research used the method of "Type of thinking" (modified by Rezapkina), as well as a questionnaire developed by the authors to identify students' scientific inclinations. Our research has shown that, according to college students, research activities allow them to develop critical thinking, creativity, gain experience, develop independent work skills, and work in a team. The analysis of the research results allows us to identify a number of specific manifestations of inclinations to research activities, depending on the type of thinking of students. Such features include interest and willingness to participate in scientific research, experience in performing certain types of research activities, the desire for independence or teamwork, the need for instruction or mentoring from teachers, the choice of certain functions in a research team – collecting, processing or presenting information, analyzing results and formulating conclusions., preparation of texts and presentations, oral presentations in front of an audience. The research results can be useful for involving students in research activities, their planning and implementation, scientific leadership, the formation of research teams and student scientific communities.

Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Living in border areas as a factor in the formation of an increased level of personal anxiety in conditions of active hostilities

Gromova P.Y., Novikova N.S., Kotikov A.A., Levchenko E.V.

Abstract

background: the relevance of this problem is that the level of personal anxiety under the influence of the above-described external factors significantly exceeds the initial level of anxiety, which is a substrate for the development of various types of neurotic disorders. Early recognition of such conditions can play a key role in the timely detection, prevention and psychotherapeutic impact on emerging psychogenic diseases. The aim of the study: to study the indicators of anxiety levels among students of different universities depending on the region, to determine the presence of a relationship between the indicator of the level of personal anxiety and the region of residence, to confirm or refute whether respondents living in the Kursk region experience anxiety in modern realities. Materials and methods. The work used the test of differential assessment of personal anxiety (TDAPA). Students from 4 universities took part in the study, the sample for each educational institution was 70 people (a total of 280 students). Results: The study showed that the high level of anxiety of respondents from Kursk is the result of the impact of an environment unfavorable for the mental health of the population. In contrast, the vast majority of respondents from Moscow and Bryansk have anxiety within the normative range. Consequently, there is a direct relationship between events occurring in the region of residence and the level of anxiety. Conclusion: The questionnaire survey using the test of differential assessment of personal anxiety (TDAPA) showed that people living far from the border have less pronounced personal anxiety, compared to residents of the region where military actions are taking place. This is consistent with the concept of the influence of stress on this indicator.

Psychological well-being of students in the digital educational environment: psychodiagnostic approaches and pedagogical perspectives

Lukashenko D.V.

Abstract

this article addresses the urgent issue of developing critical thinking skills in high school students within the context of digitalized education. The study analyzes the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating digital technologies into the educational process. The authors examine the cognitive, motivational, and affective aspects of critical thinking and how digitalization influences each of these components. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, including a review of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, student surveys, focus group interviews with teachers, and a pedagogical experiment. The findings indicate that digital technologies can both facilitate and hinder the development of critical thinking in high school students. While they provide access to vast amounts of information and tools for processing it, they can also contribute to superficial analysis, decreased motivation to learn, and the formation of uncritical information consumption habits. The authors propose recommendations for improving the educational process aimed at developing critical thinking in the digital environment. These recommendations include the use of active learning methods, the development of critical information evaluation skills, and advanced training for educators.

Overcoming psychological barriers to professional development with the help of kinesiology (methods or tools)

Lukicheva M.A.

Abstract

modern professions, as a result of their constant modification and improvement, as well as the integration of new technologies, computerization and artificial intelligence into the workflow, have become more stressful compared to the work that has been familiar to people over the past decades. Namely, the need to master various innovations quickly and efficiently often provokes conflicts, misunderstandings, work stress and fatigue in the team, which is also fraught with muscle clamps, spasms and the formation of trigger points in employees, while professional development most fully and effectively occurs in conditions of a balanced human muscular system. In combination with regular static stress, which affects specialists of all professions associated with sedentary work, psychological barriers can worsen up to the syndrome of myofascial pain. Kinesiology as a tool of evidence-based medicine has increasingly begun to enter the practice of modern psychologists, allowing them to reduce or eliminate muscle clamps and tension in the body. The main principle of this science is the work with proprioceptive reflexes, which promotes tension or relaxation of muscles in response to sensory stimuli.

Principles of system approach to the study of self-regulation of activity

Suhotina E.V.

Abstract

in this article, the author emphasizes the importance of considering self-regulation of activity as a system, pointing out that self-regulation of activity must be considered as an integral, coherently functioning entity. The classifications of systems that are important for considering self-regulation of activites are briefs indicated. The main attention in the work is paid to the description of principles (integrity, compatibility of elements of the whole, functional-structural arrangement, hierarchy, development, mobility of functions, polyfunctionality) and the main properties of the system (static, dynamic, synthetic), justifying the consideration of the phenomenon of self-regulation of activity as a dynamic system with structural-functional organization. On the basis of theoretical analysis, an attempt is made to identify the component composition of the system of self-regulation of activity, including: the need-motivational component, the component of personal-regulatory properties, value-meaning and emotional-volitional components. The functional role of each specific component of the system of self-regulation of activity, which is important in the realization of self-regulation of human activity, is specified.

On the issue of the concept of “stress resistance” of employees of the penitentiary system

Fedorov A.F.

Abstract

introduction: modern researchers in psychology and personnel management, both in domestic and foreign literature, describe stress as a complex reaction of the body, which includes both physical and psychological changes. Purpose of the work: is to conduct a study of the emotional sphere of employees of the penal system, which is especially vulnerable to stress and is the first to respond to stressful situations. The results of the study indicate the need to emphasize the importance of focusing the emotional experiences of penitentiary system employees on solving complex problems as a measure of stress resistance. Research has pointed to stress resilience, which is related to employees' ability to effectively cope with stress and maintain performance and mental health under high pressure. Conclusion. An analysis of various types of stress was carried out, each of which influenced the state of employees. The analysis was carried out taking into account the characteristics of the employees' work. It is important to focus the attention of penitentiary system employees on the integrative quality of stress resistance, which includes the interaction between the volitional, intellectual, emotional and motivational spheres of the individual, which allows one to successfully achieve goals in difficult circumstances.

Formation of socio-pedagogical competence among parents of 12-13 year old adolescents with a tendency to deviant behavior

Elantseva S.A., Golynsky V.A.

Abstract

the research is devoted to the problem of studying the formation of socio-pedagogical competence in parents of 12-13 year old adolescents with a propensity to deviant behaviour. The experiment was conducted with the participation of parents of 12-13 year-old adolescents, using three diagnostic techniques, using a set of psychological and pedagogical methods aimed at the development of cognitive (lectures, discussions, round tables and seminars), motivational and personal (role-plays, quests, psychogymnastics, modelling of pedagogical situations, counselling) and communicative-activity (training) skills. At the ascertaining stage of the experiment it was found that the weakest developed cognitive aspect of parental socio-pedagogical competence; this indicates the insufficient formation of psychological knowledge about adolescents. In the experimental group there was a significant improvement in all components of socio-pedagogical competence, in contrast to the control group where there were no changes. The developed programme showed its effectiveness in increasing the level of parents' socio-educational competence, which can be a factor in preventing deviant behaviour in adolescents. Prospects include the use of online technologies to extend the reach of parents.

Modern aspects of providing psychological assistance to athletes

Kuznetsova Y.N., Zizikova S.I.

Abstract

our article examined modern aspects of providing psychological assistance to athletes through the transformation of an athlete's personality. Transformation is understood as expanding the boundaries of perception, gaining the ability to move towards new experiences. The article discusses some aspects of a psychologist's work with conditions of trauma, depression, anxiety, and distorted attachment. The process of becoming an athlete is considered through the acquisition of sensory experience, which acts as a self-regulating function to provide the athlete with the opportunity to creatively adapt to a stressful situation that arises in sports. Through modern psychoanalysis and the Gestalt approach, the article examines ways to work with anxiety from a field perspective and the integrity of contact processes without separation from the family, cultural, economic and historical context. The possibilities of Gestalt therapy in providing psychological support to an athlete are being investigated.

Views on the psychology of consumer behavior through the prism of the need-motivation and motivation-need spheres of personality

Shabanov L.V., Lychagina S.V., Sukhanov D.G.

Abstract

the article examines the phenomenon of economic behavior from the perspective of primary demand (the need-motivational sphere of personality) and secondary, formed "from the outside" – for example, through group pressure or shifting value significance to an insignificant subject (i.e. the reverse – the motivational-need sphere). A comparative analysis of economic doctrines within the framework of social, political and economic psychology has shown that in the process of personality socialization, there is a change in the dominance of the need-motivational sphere of personality through institutions of group pressure on the dictates of the motivational-need sphere. This, in turn, changes the meaning of socialization as education and the inclusion of a new person in socially useful activities to consumer behavior "I, Me, Mine", which in reality turns a person off from the field of public communication "We" in the field of trade and economic relations, replacing civil society to the clientele system.

Typical and atypical human reactions to emotionally significant stimuli. Features and role of psychomotor processes, diagnosis and correction methods

Vavilova V.A., Yagudin D.R.

Abstract

the relevance of the topic is determined by the fact that recently there has been a revival of interest in the methods of body psychotherapy. Numerous studies in neurobiology and psychophysiology show that in order to develop a modern understanding of conscious, preconscious and unconscious processes, it is necessary to take into account the "physical dimension of experience." In the article, psychomotor development is understood as a continuous progressive process in which motor activity is closely related to the psyche. Attention is focused on the fact that the entire integral characteristic of a person as an individual is reflected in the motor organization of a person, in his behavior, activity. It has been revealed that before starting to influence the psychomotor development of a person and his pathology, it is necessary to have prior knowledge both about his nature and about the possibilities to compensate for his shortcomings. In conclusion, it is shown that psychomotor development is a complex phenomenon that needs to be understood so that it can be used as a guideline, especially in cases where it is atypical or impaired.

Features of professional motivation of young specialists of a socionomic profile

Pashkin S.B., Morozov D.D.

Abstract

currently, the Russian labor market is in a situation where it is extremely important for employers to take into account the peculiarities of their employees' motivation. This trend is due to the record low unemployment rate in Russia in 2024, as well as the growth of “mobility” of young people seeking professional development and higher material wealth. In the framework of this study, we have studied the features of professional motivation and its factors in young specialists of socionomic profile, as well as provided employers with recommendations that will allow more flexible and effective management of specialists belonging to this group. The study was conducted using a demographic questionnaire and a number of psychodiagnostic techniques: Career Motivation Questionnaire (adaptation of A. Noe, R. Noe, D. Bachhuber), Multifactor questionnaire to assess the motivation of labor activity, Subjective balance of work and personal life A.N. Mospan, E.N. Osin, E.I. Rasskazova (2016). The data obtained as a result of the study showed that young socionomic specialists find it difficult to realistically assess their career prospects and build a work-life balance. Social networks as a factor in the formation of life satisfaction: an empirical study

Kravchenko S.V.

Abstract

life satisfaction is an important scientific and practical component of psychology, which gives an idea of the subjective well-being in an individual's life. Currently, the problem of loss of landmarks and criteria of life satisfaction associated with the development of social networks needs to be investigated. Social media users look at life through the profile of the Internet pages of "successful", "well-off", "exceptionally happy people", and their own lives seem gray and not saturated to them. Without understanding the criteria of their own life satisfaction, many conclude that their life is "not like that." The stated problem is seen as a prospect for further scientific research on the topic under consideration. The article examines the concepts of life satisfaction, activity and self-presentation in social networks. An analysis of the results of an empirical study is presented, the purpose of which was to study the relationship of life satisfaction with self-presentation on social networks and with the perception of other people's content on social networks. The author's hypothesis implies two assumptions: 1) the risk of dissatisfaction with life increases when comparing oneself with idealized images broadcast on social networks by other users; 2) life satisfaction is lower with intentionally embellished self-presentation on social networks that does not correspond to reality.
