The article examines the problem of teaching modern students electronic written business communication. Business communication is one of the key essentials needed not only for work and social life in general but also for all kinds of businesses as it provides partners’ effective interaction. The author concludes that business correspondence plays a major role in the economic culture of businesses, and society needs professionals with a high level of their development for companies to raise revenues.

The paper is devoted to the issue of creating generalized syllabi for teaching a foreign language to students of non-linguistics majors. The demand for such a concept is justified from the point of view of the modern stage of development of pedagogy, the content of regulatory documents and real learning conditions. A number of principles that could underlie such a concept are described. The authors also identify scientific and practical problems that can be solved through the participation of teachers in creation and implementation of generalized syllabi.

The article analyzes problematic aspects of the concept of authenticity within the framework of teaching law students the English language as the Lingua Franca of modern legal communication. Researches devoted to using terminological series with the term “authentic” are analyzed; the controversial character of the concept is revealed; the direction of its content stabilization in legal academic settings is suggested, with focus on the current intercultural English language legal communication and the legal reality of the 21st century.

The article considered convergent higher education programs that take the form of double degree learning programs and mutual recognition programs. Correspondence between the sectoral and the linguistic components determines the development of the inner labour market and further exploration of outer markets. The key role in the implementation of convergent programs that correlate with the character of the regional economic development belongs to higher educational Institutions and their graduates.

The article examines the specific character of online & offline teaching of English as a foreign language. The transition from traditional English language learning to teaching academic disciplines in English via content and language integrated learning (CLIL) enhanced by computer technologies is discussed. The hypothesis is substantiated that the joint use of codes of economic disciplines, English, mathematics and digital tools contributes to the creation of an individual trajectory of training an economist - financier.

The article defines the main approaches to teaching foreign language oral referencing in a non-linguistics University. On the basis of a five-year experience of digital methods practical introduction to full time, correspondence and distance learning the author describes results achieved, finds typical difficulties the students face fulfilling the tasks, suggests distance exercises system, develops a number of recommendations both for the teacher and students.

The article looks at the basic concepts of the context-based education theory by A. A. Verbitsky to commemorate his impact on the development of education; analyses the results of integrating this theory in the methodology and practice of profession-oriented foreign language teaching; considers the importance of this theory for language didactics and the development of language education; substantiates the potential of the “social mode of teaching” concept for constructing the wholesome foreign language teaching system.

The paper is devoted to the realization of lifelong professionally oriented foreign language training in non-linguistics universities. Diversification of lifelong foreign language training is considered to be the principal prerequisite of its realization. The realization of lifelong foreign language training also requires the development of diversified system of professionally oriented foreign language training that is characterized by profession orientation, multilingualism, accessibility, variability, flexibility, and openness.

The article is devoted to investigating the problem of interdisciplinarity in the present day language pedagogy paradigm. The author’s approach to interdisciplinarity in university contexts is described; a typology of interdisciplinarity factors affecting foreign language teaching and learning is provided, with its levels distinguished; and a strategic direction of interdisciplinary links development are substantiated through the latest findings in relevant fields of study.

The article deals with the problem of the effectiveness of psychological preparation for public speaking. It was shown that as a result of the use of neurolinguistic programming techniques during the week, the psychological state improves significantly before, during and after the speech. The use of visual and kinesthetic techniques affects the state of the speakers in different ways. The findings allow developing programs of psychological preparation for public speaking.

The article views the topic of dynamic changes of psycho-individual properties of learners taking place in conditions of intensive foreign language teaching. The author argues that the method of intensive foreign language teaching creates favourable conditions for developing communicative skills and qualities, which reveals itself depending on type of temperament. Dynamics of development of сommunicative qualities brings about creation of conterminal types of temperament and transitional types of ISA (Individual style of activity).

One of the new constructions that appeared in modern domestic civil law was the enterprise as a property complex. However, the norms on the generic concept of “property complex” have not yet been developed, which would have universal meaning: there is no legal and indisputable doctrinal definition of the concept, there are scientific discussions about its features, composition, there is no unity in views on the types of property complexes, etc.

The article examines the criminal situation in Namibia and analyzes the way it is determined by its historical development, the colonial past, the struggle for independence, social realities, the geographical location and natural properties of the territory. The legal system is assessed in terms of constitutional provisions and laws governing the judiciary and the activities of law enforcement agencies.

The current practice of “exclusion of the criminality” of acts provided for by Articles 37-42 of the CC of the RF, by comparing them with the corpus delict of various crimes, seems untenable, in view of its inconsistency and ineffectiveness. Therefore, it is advisable to justify these acts within the framework of a separate legal procedure from the qualification of the crime, which, in fact, determines the content and focus, not only of this article, but also of the upcoming cycle of publications on a given topic.
