Factors and mechanisms of influence on the perception of Azerbaijan by the Russian media audience through the prism of news agendas and analytical materials

Gasanov A.M.

Abstract

this article examines the factors and mechanisms through which the Russian media audience perceives Azerbaijan via news agendas and analytical materials. The study is brought to relevance in the context of a changing geopolitical conjuncture and media landscape, where information becomes a strategic resource. The issue addressed in the paper lies in identifying the key elements that shape the image of Azerbaijan in the Russian media space, as well as in assessing the influence of information strategies on public consciousness. Methodologically, the study relies on a systematic analysis of news messages, content analysis of analytical materials, and qualitative interviews with experts in international relations and media communications. Special attention is paid to examining the structural features of information representation, the application of framing theory, and the agenda-setting effect, which together make it possible to trace the interrelation between media content and shifts in public perception. The choice of these methods is justified by their ability to comprehensively cover both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the phenomenon under study. The results indicate that the impact of news agendas on forming the image of Azerbaijan is a multi-stage process, in which the selection of topics, linguistic constructions, and the visual accompaniment of materials play a key role. The analysis demonstrated that the utilization of concepts of national identity and history significantly amplifies the influence on the audience, reinforcing either positive or negative stereotypes. Particular importance is attached to the balance between objectivity and subjective interpretation, which is capable of altering the tone and receptivity of informational messages.

Animalistic cultural code in the steppe landscapes of A.P. Chekhov

Igumnova E.S.

Abstract

this article is dedicated to the study of the animalistic cultural code in the steppe landscapes in the works of A.P. Chekhov. The introduction provides a justification for the topical relevance of studying animal symbolism in the context of literary representations of nature, where animals serve not only as realistic images but also as metaphorical carriers of historical and cultural meanings. The aim of the research is to analyze the multifunctional symbolic language of nature – specifically, the steppe space – through the prism of the animalistic code, which allows for a deeper understanding of the relationship between humans and nature in Chekhov’s work. The methodological basis of the study includes a comparative analysis of key textual fragments, a structural-semantic analysis of artistic images, and a contextual comparison with the cultural archetypes of Russian folklore. The study employs methods of discursive analysis, which allow for the identification of recurring motifs and symbols associated with the animal image, as well as tracking their evolution within the literary process. The use of these methods contributes to the identification of elements of the animalistic code as a reflection of the historical and social processes that took place in Russia during Chekhov’s era. The results of the study indicate that in Chekhov’s steppe landscapes, the animal image acquires a dual character: on one hand, it symbolizes the primordial, untamable force of nature, and on the other, it serves as a marker of moral and ethical transformations in human consciousness. The findings suggest that the animalistic cultural code is an integrative element that unifies various levels of semantic information and contributes to the formation of a unique aesthetic perception of the steppe.

Sidorenko M.G., Gorbunov I.S.

Abstract

in the context of digital transformation in education, audio content plays a crucial role in fostering an inclusive environment. Podcasts attract increasing attention as a potentially accessible form of knowledge delivery for blind and visually impaired users. This article presents a comparative analysis of mainstream educational podcasts and specialized programs created for blind audiences. The study examines linguistic, structural, and thematic characteristics of episodes and their alignment with the principles of digital inclusion. The hypothesis is substantiated that technical accessibility alone does not ensure inclusivity. A comparative study of the cultural connotations of animal words in Russian and Chinese

Zang N., Xu M.

Abstract

animal words are important carriers of cultural connotation in language, reflecting a nation's way of thinking, values, and cultural traditions. The relevance of this article lies in the detailed analysis of common animal words in Chinese and Russian, offering a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences in their cultural meanings, as well as the underlying causes. While the cultural connotations of animal words have been widely explored in comparisons between Chinese and English, relatively little research has been conducted in the context of Chinese and Russian. As a supplement to existing studies, this paper aims to fill that gap by drawing on classical texts, proverbs, and other sources to explore the cultural significance of animal vocabulary within Chinese and Russian linguistic environments. The study finds that different nations may hold similar or contrasting emotional attitudes toward the same animal word, mainly influenced by perspectives of observation, religious beliefs, and differences in cultural psychology. By conducting an in-depth comparative analysis of the cultural connotations of animal words in Chinese and Russian, this paper seeks to help language learners from both cultures deepen their understanding, reduce barriers in intercultural communication, and better grasp the cultural essence of the Chinese and Russian languages.

Stylistic analysis of Telegram channel vocabulary (group of terms / group of slang)

Yang Z.

Abstract

this study is devoted to a stylistic analysis of the vocabulary of Telegram channels, focusing on the interaction between terminological vocabulary and slang terms. The introduction substantiates the relevance of studying language dynamics in Telegram as an environment where vocabulary is transformed under the influence of sociolinguistic factors, globalization, and English borrowings (e.g., reach, engagement rate). The author emphasizes the role of channel themes in forming unique stylistic patterns that combine professional terms with expressive elements to attract the audience. The Materials and Methods section describes the criteria for analysis: target audience, thematic orientation (finance, IT, lifestyle), and the frequency of use of terms and slang. Special attention is paid to the strategies of the authors – from adhering to literary norms to deliberately breaking them to create an informal tone. Trends towards abbreviations ("chel", "chill") and borrowings that form the "micro-styles" of the channels have been identified. The results demonstrate a predominance of mixed vocabulary (over 45% in all themes), confirming a balance between the precision of terms and the expressiveness of slang. In technical channels (ML/AI, DevOps), terminology constitutes up to 90% of the vocabulary, whereas in game design and "other themes" slang dominates (24-27%). Emotionally charged units (for example, "ulet" – 8.77 on the expressiveness scale) enhance engagement, while Anglicisms (backend, API) remain unadapted. Frequency tables illustrate the leadership of technical terms (backend – 97.04 occurrences) and high variability in the spelling of slang terms ("prereliz" – 4.26% errors). The discussion underlines the functions of vocabulary: creating group identity, emotional impact, and content virality. Closed channels form unique "lexical codes," while open channels influence overall language trends. In the conclusion, the author notes the contextual dependence of vocabulary, the necessity of taking into account irony, visual elements (emoji), and the dynamics of channel development. Prospects for future research include the analysis of jargon migration between platforms and the application of corpus linguistics methods.

A study of the metaphorical representation of the ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE concept in modern English-language media discourse (using the example of the cognitive model AI IS A PERSON)

Shekhovtseva T.M., Kamyshanchenko E.A., Strakhova K.A.

Abstract

the aim of the research is to analyze the metaphorical representation of the ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE concept in modern English-language media discourse. The relevance is due to the insufficient analysis of the ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE concept metaphorization in the English-language mass media and its significance in the mental space of society, as well as the ability of the media to influence mass consciousness. The focus is on conceptual metaphors systematized using the cognitive model AI IS A PERSON, identified based on the analysis of the compatibility of the concept name and its synonyms with specific predicates. The continuous sampling method, the contextual analysis method and the cognitive interpretation method of metaphor, which determines the way of understanding the concept in question in the English-language media discourse, were also used. The analyzed conceptual metaphors reflect the basic sensory experience of native speakers (communication with other people in different spheres of life), allowing them to understand the unknown in terms of the known, which is the cognitive potential of metaphor. The multifaceted nature of the identified CM confirms the thesis that conceptual metaphor is an effective means of creating imagery and expressiveness in a media text. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the obtained results for both scientific and educational purposes: in the development of theoretical and practical courses on the problems of cognitive linguistics, metaphorology, and media linguistics of modern English.

Automated reconstruction of literary character social roles using graph neural networks: a multilingual corpus approach

Dragomirov D.S.

Abstract

an approach for quantitative reconstruction of literary characters' social roles using graph neural networks is developed. A multilingual corpus (~40 works) of classical prose in Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is compiled. Automated processing includes character graph extraction and application of Graph Neural Networks (GCN, GAT) for role classification. Integration with a large language model in GraphRAG scheme provides result interpretation. The graph model correctly identifies central characters with 92% accuracy. Cross-cultural differences are revealed: Russian novels demonstrate centralized networks around the protagonist, while East Asian texts show more distributed structures. Speech form analysis revealed correlation between character status and honorific usage (?, ?, "Вы"). The approach is applicable for digital hermeneutics, educational applications, and publishing analytics. For the first time, cross-cultural quantitative analysis of literary networks using GNN is performed.

Bakhaeva L.M., Magomadova T.D., Burenko L.V.

Abstract

this study is devoted to a comparative analysis of the features of gender worldview representation in Russian and English linguocultures at various levels of linguistic structure. The relevance of the work stems from the importance of understanding the culture-specific mechanisms of gender construction through language for effective intercultural communication and the overcoming of stereotypes. The aim of the study is to identify and systematize the specific traits of gender representation at the lexical, grammatical, and stylistic levels in both languages, as well as to determine how these differences are conditioned by cultural factors. The research methodology is based on the principles of comparative-contrastive analysis, linguistic cultural studies, and gender linguistics. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on corpora of texts of different functional styles (fiction, media, colloquial speech) in Russian and English. The main focus was on identifying and comparing gender-marked vocabulary, the specifics of grammatical categories (gender, articles, pronouns), and stylistic devices related to the expression of gender. The results of the study revealed significant differences between the two linguocultures. At the lexical level, English shows a greater tendency to neutralize gender markers in job titles, whereas Russian retains a pronounced grammatical gender category that influences nomination. The grammatical analysis confirmed the importance of the gender category in Russian for the obligatory indication of the referent’s sex and the emergence of gender-neutral pronouns as a developing phenomenon in English. At the stylistic level, differences were found in the use of metaphors, epithets, and evaluative expressions when describing individuals of different sexes, reflecting cultural stereotypes.

On the issue of lexical and phraseological means of micropoles of indefinite large and small numbers in the German language

Guseynova M.S.

Abstract

the article analyzes the issues of lexical and phraseological means of micropoles of indefinite large and small numbers in the German language. It is noted that the studied micropoles are interconnected. They overlap with such functional and semantic fields as time, intensity, and parametricity. All the fields under consideration are mobile, as they include signs already present in the language. They also include the directions of creating new, individual signs with the value of evaluation and quantification. It is emphasized that different types of nomination are defined for the representation of functional and semantic fields. The methods of evaluative expression of an indefinite quantity in form a rather massive functional and semantic whole. It occupies a significant place in the macro field of quantity and is divided into groups or fields of a certain and indefinite quantity. The micropole of an indeterminately large amount (ILA) is characterized by a complex structure and a wide variety of components. The field of indefinite small quantity (ISQ) has a simpler structure and consists of a small number of components. The principles of lexico-phraseological grouping determine the specifics of the structure of each of these fields.

Comparative analysis of language markers in diplomatic media discourse in the Chinese and Russian languages

Zhang Y.

Abstract

the present work is aimed at studying the lexical-semantic and pragmatic linguistic markers of the diplomatic media discourse of Russia and China. The chosen goal is due to the fact that such linguistic markers are important for constructing and understanding meanings in the process of interstate communication. In the course of our work, we solved such problems as analyzing scientific literature in the field of diplomatic media discourse, identifying and systematizing lexical-semantic and pragmatic linguistic markers and conducting a comparative analysis with the identification of similarities and differences that are significant for understanding. The methodological apparatus included such scientific methods as lexical-semantic and pragmatic analysis of diplomatic media discourse texts in both languages, as well as comparative analysis. The results showed that the lexical-semantic linguistic markers of the Chinese and Russian languages have both similar and different elements of implementation. At the same time, the pragmatics of both types of discourse bears significant differences. When examining such pragmatic elements as the degree of directness of the message, the categories “I – we – you – you – they”, and the so-called “face-saving strategies”, it was revealed that the Chinese diplomatic media discourse is built on the principles of indirectness, face-saving and harmony, while the Russian-language one is built on the principles of directness, logic and integrity. The results we obtained can become the basis for creating teaching materials for students studying in such areas as “International Relations”, “Oriental Studies” and “Intercultural Communication”.

The aim of the research is to identify the key factors influencing the perception of Azerbaijan by Russian media and audiences, as well as to determine the mechanisms through which public opinion is transformed under the influence of information technologies. The methodological framework of the study includes a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research utilized content analysis, network analysis, and comparative analysis of publications, which allowed tracing the dynamics of the formation of Azerbaijan’s image in the information space. Data were collected from the archives of online media and social media platforms, ensuring the representativeness of the sample. The obtained results show that the information strategy of Russian online media often tends to present Azerbaijan in a negative or contradictory light, which is determined by both geopolitical interests and the internal socio-cultural biases of the audience. Data analysis indicates that in recent years there has been a change in the nature of informational impact – from the dominance of negative narratives to a more balanced approach, which positively affects the overall perception of the country. Discussion of the results leads to the conclusion regarding the significant influence of the media on the formation of public opinion, as well as the necessity for further research on the mechanisms of informational influence in an intercultural context. The work contributes to the understanding of communication strategies in the digital technology era and holds practical value for professionals in the fields of mediation and political science, influencing the formation of their own policies in the information sphere.

Features of the Japanese trailer as a genre of advertising discourse

Vlasenko O.K., Andreeva I.A., Kuznetsova L.E., Malakhova S.A.

Abstract

the article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of Japanese film trailers as a specific genre of advertising discourse. The object of the study is the Japanese film trailer, while the subject is its linguo-semiotic and genre-specific features. The research material consists of trailers for Japanese films from the last decade. The aim of the work is to identify and systematize the unique characteristics of the Japanese trailer, determined by national cultural tradition and cinematic genre conventions. Particular attention is paid to the trailer as a creolized text, where the verbal (linguistic signs), visual (iconic, graphic signs), and auditory (music, sound effects, speech) components form an inseparable semiotic unity, jointly producing meaning and exerting a complex impact on the recipient. The work establishes that the uniqueness of the Japanese trailer is rooted in the national communicative culture, characterized by indirectness, context-dependency, the aesthetics of aware (emotional tonality), and the minimization of direct calls to action, with an emphasis on cultural codes and the creation of aesthetic and emotional resonance. A key conclusion of the article is the profound genre conditioning of trailer structure and content. The work provides a detailed analysis of the features of trailers for major Japanese cinematic genres: melodrama/dorama, anime/fantasy, jidaigeki/action, and horror. The Japanese language performs key functions within the trailer: cultural identification, emotional impact through laconic, concentrated phrases, narrative structuring, and the enhancement of the visual-auditory impact. The effectiveness of the Japanese film trailer as an advertising genre is determined by the masterful synthesis of universal advertising impact structures, the deep genre specificity of the advertised film, and the activation of the cultural codes of the Japanese audience through the creolized text. Its success directly depends on the accurate representation of the film's identity and its alignment with the cultural expectations of the viewer.

Kulibina O.V.

Abstract

the article presents a cross-sectional analysis of the positive emotional experiences of 4,374 Russian university students (average age 20.2±3.2 years) using an online questionnaire. The content analysis of the open responses allowed us to systematize the data into 14 thematic categories and identify 66.7% of informative responses, while 33.3% of respondents found it difficult to identify positive events. The educational sphere took the lead (15.6% of responses; 95% confidence interval: 13.6-16.2%), which indicates the interiorization of professional values and motivation to study. The second most important place was taken by social ties (family 11.0% and friends 10.3%), reflecting the students' collectivist value orientations. The Shannon index entropy of responses was 0.78, indicating a high variability in the sources of positive experiences. Additional categories, such as travel (7.8%) and socio-political events (4.5%), indicate the diversity of youth's adaptive resources and the need to take interdisciplinary factors into account when developing pedagogical strategies. The revealed ratios demonstrate the balance of individualistic and collectivistic priorities (ratio 1:1.65) and indicate the need to integrate emotional competence development programs into the educational process. The research results can serve as a basis for improving the methodology and technologies of vocational education for students of various specialties.

Digital technologies opportunities in shaping project competencies of students in the “Media Communications” field

Volkova V.V., Lavech E.V., Meshkov E.P.

Abstract

this article examines the role of digital technologies in developing project competencies among students in the “Media Communications” program. The authors emphasize that the digital transformation of education is fundamentally changing the learning process, making it more aligned with the real needs of the media industry. Digital platforms (collaboration tools, cloud services, social networks) expand access to information and interaction formats, enabling students to develop teamwork skills, role distribution, strategic planning, and deadline management. Special attention is paid to the integration of modern technologies: virtual and augmented reality tools for creating interactive simulations and testing ideas; analytical tools (including big data and machine learning) for audience research and project effectiveness evaluation; and multimedia software for comprehensive content production. The paper analyzes key aspects of project activities enhanced by digital solutions. It notes the growth of creative thinking, visual storytelling ability, critical information analysis, and media literacy. The importance of a practice-oriented approach through industry collaboration (engaging experts, participating in hackathons, working on real cases) is highlighted, as it boosts student motivation and accountability. However, the authors also identify significant challenges: insufficient methodological readiness of instructors for systematic technology integration; the need to develop students’ self-directed learning skills and critical tool selection; and ethical risks (copyright, data security). The article stresses the importance of balancing technological possibilities with the development of fundamental competencies—strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, content responsibility, and reflective capacity. It concludes that digital technologies, when methodically integrated into project-based learning, become an integral part of preparing competitive professionals capable of innovation and adaptation in a dynamic media environment.

Discursive strategies as a means of teaching English-language dialogic speech at a university

Kegeyan S.E., Buryanova A.A., Prus L.V., Mlynar E.S.

Abstract

the relevance of the study of discursive strategies as a means of teaching English-language dialogic speech at a university is due to a number of interrelated factors. According to the author of this article, modern requirements for training specialists in the context of globalization and internationalization of education imply a high level of proficiency in a foreign language as an instrument of professional communication. Dialogic speech is the basis of intercultural interaction, business negotiations, scientific cooperation and academic mobility of students. As was established in the course of the study, traditional methods of teaching dialogic speech often do not provide sufficient efficiency in the formation of communicative competence. The authors found that students experience difficulties in the transition from memorized dialogues to spontaneous speech in real communicative situations, which indicates the need to search for new pedagogical approaches. According to the authors, the development of discourse analysis and the theory of speech strategies opens up new opportunities for improving the methods of teaching foreign languages. Discursive strategies allow you to systematize and structure the process of teaching dialogic speech, taking into account the pragmatic, sociocultural and cognitive aspects of communication. In the article the authors consider the use of discursive strategies in the process of teaching English-language dialogic speech to students of non-linguistic universities. The authors of this article present the results of an experimental study conducted with the participation of 60 students divided into control and experimental groups. The effectiveness of using discursive strategies for developing communicative competence and improving the quality of dialogic speech in English is proven. Thus, the study of discursive strategies as a means of teaching English-language dialogic speech at a university seems relevant and timely, since it contributes to solving important theoretical and practical problems of modern linguodidactics.

Specificity of emotional-volitional and communicative spheres of primary school children with different academic performance

Medvedeva I.A.

Abstract

the article presents the results of a study of the specifics of the emotional-volitional and communicative spheres of primary school students with different levels of academic success. The aim of the study was to examine the differences in anxiety, volitionality, the nature of interaction with adults and peers, as well as in the characteristics of non-verbal communication between students with high academic success and students with learning difficulties. The results obtained during the study indicate that in both study groups the average (normal) level of anxiety prevails, however, among younger schoolchildren with high academic success this level of anxiety is more common. Among schoolchildren with learning problems, there are more subjects with the «lack of anxiety» indicator, and its elevated level is more characteristic of subjects with high academic success. Diagnostic values for communication indicators are higher in the group of schoolchildren with high academic success. The differences reach diagnostic significance in the scales «Adjustment to School», «Relationships with Peers» and «Relationships with Adults». The indicators of volitional behavior are significantly higher among students who do not have problems with school learning. Reliable differences were established for such parameters as the indicator of concentration on schoolwork; understanding of the consequences of one's actions; readiness to follow school rules. Schoolchildren with high academic success have a higher ability to understand and accept the possibilities of different bases for evaluating the same object or phenomenon. They are also more dependent on the assessments and approval of others, and this is reflected in their high sensitivity to non-verbal manifestations in communication. The results of the study can be used in diagnostic and correctional-developmental work of a teacher-psychologist with students of this age category and in consultative practice with teachers and parents of primary school students.

The problem of pedagogical support for the socialization of Chinese adolescents

Huang Y., Karavanova L.Z.

Abstract

the article considers the issues of improving pedagogical support for socialization of adolescents in China. These issues are relevant and have been reflected in the scientific literature. The process of socialization in a general sense is the acquisition of skills and abilities important for living in society. However, at the moment there is a process of informatization and expansion of the media space, in which adolescents are increasingly involved, which also requires socialization in the virtual space and a decrease in the desire for socialization in real society. In order to identify them, a theoretical and sociological study was conducted. The survey was conducted among adolescents and teachers using the WeChat social network. Touching upon theoretical issues, it is necessary to highlight the lack of a consensus regarding the socialization process and its features in relation to modern conditions. One of the modern trends in the socialization of Chinese adolescents can be distinguished by the high level of influence of the information space and the peculiarities of education in educational institutions, as well as the growing demands placed on adolescents. All these factors are often not taken into account when planning and conducting pedagogical support for adolescents, which requires a revision of existing programs of pedagogical support for socialization.

Causes of communication barriers in the professional activities of higher education teachers and ways to overcome them

Balibardina N.G., Baturina T.I., Belozerova E.V., Dorofeeva G.A., Lisina L.M.

Abstract

the issue of communication barriers in the professional activities of higher education teachers has gained particular significance in the current context—amid ongoing institutional reforms, intensive digital transformations in education, and a widening sociocultural and generational gap between educators and students. The purpose of this article is to identify the causes and prerequisites of persistent communication difficulties in the academic environment, classify their types, and propose evidence-based strategies for overcoming these obstacles at different levels of pedagogical interaction. The author describes communication barriers as a systemically conditioned phenomenon arising at the intersection of the teacher's personal characteristics, the specifics of the academic environment, and broader social transformations. It is noted that the scientific literature remains fragmented in its approaches—some authors focus on individual psychological aspects, while others limit themselves to describing structural determinants without integrating them into a unified model. Additionally, the majority of existing studies overlook the dynamic and adaptive nature of pedagogical communication, often reducing it to a formalized exchange of information. Based on a comprehensive analysis, the article identifies key types of communication barriers (ranging from stage fright and negative biases to perfectionism and imitation effects) and examines their underlying mechanisms. The study also explores aspects of adaptive pedagogical interaction and proposes an original modeling system designed to prevent and correct professional deformations. The practical significance of the research lies in its recommendations, which are justified by their novelty. These include rapid diagnostics of audience readiness, a communicative portfolio strategy, and a supervision support system tailored for educators operating under high communicative stress. The findings will be useful to higher education specialists, teachers, methodologists, professional development program organizers, and developers of digital tools for educators.

Formation of pedagogical culture of parents as a scientific problem

Yarychev N.U., Tsakhaeva A.A.

Abstract

the research relevance is due to the complication of social ties and the increase in requirements for the quality of education. Digitalization of education, inclusive education and the need to form modern skills in children presuppose the active participation of parents in the educational process and a conscious approach to upbringing. In this context, the insufficient level of pedagogical competence of parents becomes an obstacle to the successful adaptation of children to the educational process and their full development. The research goal is to theoretically generalize the essence and main components of the pedagogical culture of parents in the context of modern school education. The following objectives were solved: the main theoretical approaches to the studied problems were considered, a theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the problem of the formation of the pedagogical culture of parents was carried out, and the essence, structure and components of the pedagogical culture of parents were considered. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes a theoretical analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, generalization, and a formal-logical method. The following conclusions were formulated: the formation of the pedagogical culture of parents is possible only with the development of scientifically based models for improving pedagogical competence. The pedagogical culture of parents is a key factor in the socialization of the younger generation, which requires the consolidation of the efforts of scientists, teachers and practitioners.

Consumer extremism

Mitin Y.D.

Abstract

this article examines the problem of consumer extremism, which refers to the abuse of consumer rights for personal gain at the expense of entrepreneurs. Such behavior, although within the law, is aimed at obtaining unjustified advantages and can manifest itself in various forms, including abuse of guarantees, unjustified claims, lawsuits and returns of goods. The paper provides specific examples of consumer extremism, such as the requirement to return or replace goods in case of defects caused by improper use, unreasonable claims, the use of legal loopholes to obtain compensation, as well as the refusal to solve the problem in favor of obtaining material benefits. It is emphasized that consumer extremism is a serious problem both for entrepreneurs who incur financial losses and expenses on litigation, and for consumers who lose confidence in business. In this regard, we propose a number of measures to combat consumer extremism, including building consumer loyalty, using legal protection mechanisms, monitoring trends, and informing consumers about their rights and responsibilities. The article also examines the negative consequences of consumer extremism, such as financial losses for businesses, loss of reputation, loss of trust, and the emergence of a crisis in relations between entrepreneurs and consumers. In conclusion, we propose a set of measures to counter this problem, including improving consumer legal literacy, strengthening government control, developing mutual understanding between sellers and consumers, and applying sanctions to individuals who abuse their rights.

Deepening the “Pivot to the East” policy in the context of anti-Russian sanctions: political significance of digital cooperation between China and Russia

Hanting X.

Abstract

in the context of comprehensive sanctions imposed by the West on Russia, the "Pivot to the East" strategy has become a key vector of Russian foreign policy. China, as one of the world leaders in digital technologies, occupies a central place in this strategy. This article analyzes the political significance of digital interaction between China and Russia, with an emphasis on its effectiveness and impact in technological, institutional and geopolitical dimensions. Through a study of the political prerequisites for the "Pivot to the East", an assessment of China's role in the implementation of this strategy and an analysis of the current state and challenges of digital cooperation, it is concluded that the digital sphere is becoming a new driver in the development of Russian-Chinese relations and plays a strategic role in the formation of an alternative – non-Western – model of international interaction. At the same time, it highlights such obstacles as structural imbalances, lack of institutional coherence and external uncertainty, which require both countries to build a sustainable, institutionalized and trust-based partnership model. The article argues that digital cooperation between China and Russia is not only of economic but also of political and strategic significance, reflecting institutional competition and the reorganization of the global governance system.

Electronic justice in arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction: a comparative analysis

Vronskaya M.V., Shchelkin K.A.

Abstract

the introduction of information technologies in legal proceedings is one of the priority areas for the development of the Russian judicial system. Digitalization allows for more efficient and transparent handling of cases, simplifies the process of filing documents, and provides greater access to justice for citizens and organizations. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for remote participation in court proceedings and accelerated the development of electronic services. In this article, the authors conduct a comparative analysis of the electronic justice systems in the arbitration courts and general jurisdiction courts of the Russian Federation to identify the challenges that need to be addressed in order to further improve and develop the digital transformation of Russian legal proceedings. The authors have examined the theoretical and practical aspects of the implementation of e-justice in courts of various jurisdictions at the level of the electronic systems on which their activities are based. Special attention is paid to a comparative analysis of the systems "My Arbitrator" and GAS "Justice" in terms of legal regulation and technical capabilities that they provide to the parties in a legal dispute, namely the submission of electronic documents, participation in online meetings, familiarization with the case materials, and others. Based on the analysis of the existing experience of electronic justice, the authors draw conclusions about the need to harmonize approaches and provide a number of recommendations for the unification of systems.

Prejudice of foreign judicial acts in private international law: conflict of doctrines

Kvach S.S.

Abstract

the article explores the theoretical and practical problems of recognizing the prejudicial power of foreign judicial acts in private international law (PJM). A fundamental conflict is analyzed between the doctrine of territorial sovereignty (requiring mandatory exequatur to give a decision a prejudicial effect) and the doctrine of international politeness (allowing automatic recognition of prejudice based on mutual respect of legal systems). The compromise doctrine of reciprocity, enshrined in the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany, is critically assessed, which in practice faces difficulties in proving and the risk of arbitrary court decisions. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of "double prejudice" - a situation in which conflicting judicial acts of different states claim truth, which undermines the principle of legal certainty and leads to economic losses. As a solution, a differentiated model based on the functional heterogeneity of prejudicial facts is proposed.
