The role of classical music in radio theater
Abstract
the article discusses the specifics of the use of classical music in radio plays and its impact on the perception of the listener. The author analyzes the functions of musical accompaniment as an expressive and structure-forming element of dramaturgy, reveals its role in the formation of emotional space and enhancement of the artistic impact of sound narration. It is noted that the maximum aesthetic power of radio drama is manifested when music does not just accompany the action, but penetrates into the emotional consciousness of the audience, creating the effect of participation and internal response. The importance of the professional activity of a music designer is emphasized, who must have not only developed musical thinking and production skills, but also an understanding of the laws of drama, the structure of the script and the character of the characters. Effective interaction between the director, producer and composer ensures the unity of the artistic concept and the organic fusion of music with the narrative fabric of the radio play. The lack of a deep understanding of this interaction leads to a formal, superficial interpretation of the sound sequence and reduces the artistic expressiveness of the work.

Philosophy of the turn of the century and the humanistic shift – A.P. Chekhov on Sakhalin
Abstract
the study examines A.P. Chekhov’s Sakhalin Island as a text that combines documentary precision with a philosophical testimony of human existence. The aim of the paper is to reveal the “philosophy of the turn of the century” and the “humanistic shift” in the writer’s work. The methodology relies on literary analysis, philosophical interpretation in the context of existentialism, and a historical-cultural approach. The results demonstrate Chekhov’s transition from the position of an observer to that of an ethical witness. Sakhalin Island appears as a “letter of existence”, where the recording of facts is united with the affirmation of human dignity, freedom, and responsibility. The scientific novelty of the study lies in viewing the text as a precursor to the existential philosophy of the 20th century, while its practical significance is found in the potential for a renewed understanding of the humanistic tradition in Russian literature.

The use of visual and expressive means of language in modern English language political discourse
Abstract
this article is about political discourse, which is currently becoming increasingly important, as it is used in modern politics to maintain power, promote ideology and manipulate public opinion to achieve certain goals. The article discusses various strategies and tactics of discourse to convince the audience, such as visual and expressive linguistic means, which create a favorable image of political power. In this regard, special attention is paid to the role of rhetorical techniques and strategies, such as the use of metaphors, epithets, hyperboles, as well as the intensification of speech through emotional coloring. The author analyzes the ways of positioning a leader and a political force through narratives that form trust, solidarity and a sense of legitimacy among the audience. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the identification of linguistic means of implementing manipulative influence based on D. Trump's recent speeches. In the course of the research, the main functions of linguistic means in political discourse were identified. They consist of influencing the audience, manipulating the consciousness of the electorate, and establishing a closer connection between the politician and the audience. The purpose of such an analysis is to identify the mechanisms of influence and propose a critical methodology for evaluating the texts of political discourse in order to understand how images of power are formed in the modern information field.

Aspects of comparative study of word formation in the English and Russian languages
Abstract
the article provides a comprehensive analysis of the aspects of comparative study of word formation in English and Russian. From a comparative perspective, the question of the degree and nature of the intersection of the formal semantic characteristics of word-formation categories is of particular interest. The methods of comparative and typological research are determined by the relationship of the languages used for comparison. This synchronous juxtaposition of languages at the word-formation level allows us to move from genetically identical affixes to the peculiarities of their functioning in each of the languages. It also makes it possible to proceed from certain bases and affixes of one language and identify the degree of functional correspondence of identical word-forming elements of another. A detailed analysis of the material should be carried out within the framework of the established groups of configurations that represent the connecting link. A set of suffixes, prefixes, confixes, and affixes is to be studied for the implementation of this configuration of semantic features in English and Russian. The derivation methods in the analyzed languages are similar. The contrast is that affixation is a productive way in Russian. Due to the analytical structure of the English language, this technique is less productive here.

Synchronous and comparative analysis of colorative vocabulary in folklore works of the English and Russian languages
Abstract
the article provides a simultaneous comparative analysis of the colorative vocabulary in folklore works of English and Russian languages. Color definitions are considered to be the most valuable material for research, as they form the conceptual basis of many works of folklore. The complexity of the paradox of color perception is determined by the fact that the system of coloratives belongs to an interesting field of linguistics. The researchers note the conventionality of the color transition. The history of each color designation depends on different conditions. There is also a factor of ethnic predilection for certain colors. The same color is perceived differently by different cultures. Such differences in perceptions and symbolic evaluation of color explain many features of the use of color meanings in cultures. All colors in the folklore of these languages are divided into achromatic and monochromatic. Among all the coloratives, the name "white" is the most popular in both cultures. The image of white acquired expressive meanings.

The use of dialect and slang in the Inferno of Dante's Divine Comedy: complementing and adjusting the theory of the "illustrious vernacular"
Abstract
the article examines the complex interplay between the linguistic theory of the "illustrious vernacular" (volgare illustre), developed by Dante in his treatise "De Vulgari Eloquentia," and its practical realization in the poetics of the "Divine Comedy." The focus is on the first part of the poem, the "Inferno," with the specific material for analysis being marked lexical strata: dialectisms, colloquial speech, and elements of low-style register. The authors aim to determine to what extent the use of the "low" linguistic register can be considered a conscious artistic device and what role it plays in constructing Dante's image of Hell. The work addresses the following tasks: - identifying and classifying instances of non-normative lexicon usage; - comparing the poetic text with Dante's theoretical propositions; - defining the functions of "low-style" lexicon in character creation, plot development, and text structure. The methodological foundation comprises textual, comparative, structural-functional, and historical-literary approaches. The research relies on the critical edition of the "Divine Comedy" edited by Giorgio Petrocchi, as well as Russian translations and commentaries. The conducted analysis affirms that dialects and colloquial language are used by Dante not randomly, but as a deliberate stylistic strategy. They serve to enhance verisimilitude, deepen character psychology, create satirical effects, and establish semantic contrasts. Thus, Dante's poetic practice not only follows but also creatively develops his theoretical views on volgare illustre, enriching them with the vitality of living speech.

Legal regulation of sign language: linguistic-legal aspect
Abstract
in different countries, languages that are recognized as official languages are in the respective legal field. The term “recognized languages” remains abstract and vague, which makes it difficult to precisely define its official status, especially with regard to sign languages. Commonalities in the wording of state laws concerning sign languages are identified in the way they uphold fundamental principles. Sign languages may or may not possess the features of linguistic officiality, both formal and material, as compared to officially recognized spoken languages. Furthermore, sign languages correspond to distinctive elements of linguistic minority rights. In other words, they do not have a clear status as valid official languages as spoken languages, and at the same time they are not considered minority languages, despite some analogies. The possibility of developing a legal theory of asymmetric linguistic officiality of sign language is substantiated. As for the legal status, an analysis of various legislative acts related to sign languages has revealed common features in the context of state laws regarding fundamental principles. The presented results of comparing various legislative acts implement the legal recognition of sign languages. They can systemize and unify the legal framework of national legal systems.

The possibilities of applying corpus-based methods to manipulative discourse research (based on Japanese-language materials)
Abstract
this article examines the potential of applying corpus-based methods to the study of manipulative discourse using Japanese-language materials. The paper emphasizes that the use of corpus-based technologies ensures the objectivity and reproducibility of results, allowing us to identify frequency patterns, emotional tonality, and the dynamics of lexical choice when covering international and domestic political events related to Russia. This article provides an overview of the main Japanese-language corpora created by the National Institute of Japanese Language and Linguistics (NINJAL) and analyzes their potential for research in political and media discourse. The authors highlight the limitations of existing resources, including outdated data, restricted access to modern corpora, and the lack of user-friendly interfaces for analysis. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of constructing a corpus of Japanese media texts, which is necessitated by the need to work with relevant materials. Available tools for morphological and syntactic analysis of the Japanese language are considered. The results of the study demonstrate the potential of using corpus-based methods to identify speech influence strategies and the specifics of public opinion formation in Japanese media. The data obtained can be used in developing methods for analyzing media discourse, as well as in creating tools for researching the information space.

The effect of the syntactic position of a noun on its valence
Abstract
the article discusses the impact of the syntactic position of a noun on its valence. It consists in the fact that the value of the feature in this case includes the value of the necessary structural components. They predict nouns with syntactically determined meaning as the organizers of a sentence. A noun in the role of a predicate can denote a feature. It usually expresses a subject-classification feature, a qualitative characteristic, an external or internal state. And this means the realization of semantic valence in obligatory syntactic relations. And also in the ability to have specific dependent grammatical forms. The use of definable words is limited by certain conditions. They are not an integral part of the meaning of the word being defined, but indicate the degree and nature of the manifestation of the trait. These can be pronouns and adjectives with amplifying meanings. As determinants, words of the same semantic plane with nouns are possible. The use of an unusual definition is associated with a change in the subject-logical correlation with the reality of the very meaning of the word being defined.

The concept of "Russianness" in A.P. Chekhov's artistic world picture
Abstract
the aim of the study is to reconstruct and provide a multifaceted analysis of the artistic representation of the concept of "Russianness" in A.P. Chekhov's prose works, as well as to identify the specifics of its semantics within the author's individual worldview. The scientific novelty of the work lies in its systematic approach to studying Chekhov's concept sphere of "Russianness" as a dynamic, multifaceted, and internally contradictory phenomenon. The research identifies and classifies a complex of interconnected representations of this concept (spatio-geographical, socio-cultural, related to private life, and anthropological), and provides a detailed analysis of its interpretation through the "own/alien" opposition. Using methods of conceptual, motivic, and structural-semantic analysis applied to the writer's stories and novellas, the study demonstrates that Chekhov does not merely record stereotypes of the national character but subjects them to complex artistic problematization and deconstruction. He shifts the reader's focus from external, ideologically charged definitions to the internal, existential experience of the individual. It is concluded that true "Russianness" in Chekhov's works is associated not with a set of fixed traits, but with the individual's capacity for moral effort, critical reflection, and the independent search for life's meaning, irrespective of national and social frameworks.

Using non-standard approaches in working with special medical group students
Abstract
students who belong to a special medical group have many restrictions caused by diseases of various etiologies. It is important to choose a regimen, intensity, and focus that will be effective for improving health and developing physical qualities. One of the main tasks of a teacher is to implement a diverse selection of tools, methods, and approaches when working with students who have restrictions, as well as to use new techniques and combine traditional and innovative approaches. During the survey of teachers, a list of traditional types of physical activity used to develop physical qualities and improve students' health was compiled, and those that are rarely used but are still effective when properly implemented were identified. Fidget sports, intellectual games, active, diaphragmatic breathing, exercises that develop fine motor skills, and vibration gymnastics are less common in the educational and training process of students and are used much less frequently, but they are undeniably beneficial, especially for individuals who need compensatory actions. It is important for a teacher to assess their significance, thoroughly study the characteristics of these activities, and apply them in practice, preferably with theoretical commentary.

Evaluation of the intensity of the load in training tasks of technical-tactical and integrated preparation of handball players of the nearest reserve
Abstract
one of the indicators reflecting the “internal” parameters of physical activity is cardiovascular activity. Heart rate is used to differentiate training methods based on their focus and energy supply mechanisms. However, information on the specific responses of handball players’ cardiovascular systems to training loads is limited in the specialized literature. The aim of this study was to evaluate the intensity of typical training tasks for technical-tactical and integrated training, based on heart rate, in reserve handball players. Heart rate ranges were determined for technical-tactical and integrated training tasks in reserve handball players. It was found that the most intense exercises include counterattacks in various combinations, transitions from defense to offense after a positional attack, and 6-on-6 play, performed in anaerobic and aerobic-anaerobic energy supply modes. Taking into account the mechanisms of energy supply for muscle activity in typical training tasks for handball players of the immediate reserve, determined by heart rate, allows for more accurate structuring of training loads in one training session, micro-, and mesocycles of preparation.

Use of modern pain relief methods in the system of sports training and athletes’ recovery
Abstract
the article is devoted to the study of sports injuries and modern methods of pain management used in sports medicine. Under conditions of intensive physical exertion and high performance demands, athletes are exposed to various types of injuries that may lead to temporary or permanent loss of working capacity. The issues of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries accompanied by pain syndrome remain insufficiently studied in the Russian Federation, which determines the scientific and practical relevance of this topic. All injuries occurring in sports activities are classified into four main categories: overuse injuries, sprains, fractures and dislocations, as well as blunt trauma. Each type of injury requires specific therapeutic approaches, including adequate pain relief and measures to restore the functional state of the body. Both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain management are used in sports medicine. The former include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, non-narcotic and opioid analgesics, muscle relaxants, and topical medications; the latter include physiotherapy, ultrasound therapy, and magnetotherapy. A comprehensive combination of these methods promotes tissue regeneration, reduces pain, and increases the overall effectiveness of the training process.

Development of leadership qualities in students through volleyball
Abstract
the relevance of this study stems from the complex challenges facing the modern generation. In the context of globalization, digital transformation, and a dynamically changing economy, demands are increasing not only on professional knowledge but also on cross-professional competencies. Among these, leadership qualities are becoming paramount, becoming a key factor in competitiveness and success in any field. The ability to take responsibility, think strategically, organize a team, and inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals is now one of the key criteria in the formation of talent pools and management elites. The central focus of this article is the potential of volleyball as an effective and multifaceted tool for the targeted development of individual leadership potential. The analysis identifies and examines key aspects of the game with high pedagogical potential. Teamwork and synergy: a player learns not simply to function in a group but to become an integral part of it, where their actions directly impact the overall outcome. Making tactical decisions under stress and time pressure: A rapidly changing game situation requires athletes to quickly analyze, assess risks, and choose the optimal solution, which is the quintessence of leadership. Effective verbal and nonverbal communication: Constant contact with teammates to coordinate attacks, blocks, and defense develops skills for clear and timely information exchange. Pedagogical aspects of developing legal consciousness in young people in the modern socio-cultural space
Abstract
this article examines a set of pedagogical mechanisms that facilitate the development of legal awareness in minors in the context of a dynamically changing social environment. Legal education, as an integral component of individual civic development, is aimed at achieving a strategic objective: the holistic development of legal awareness in the younger generation. This pedagogical process presupposes the consistent and systematic development of legal awareness, the assimilation of legal norms and values, and the formation of a stable readiness for lawful social behavior. Through legal education, legal principles are deeply internalized, transforming them from external prescriptions into internal convictions. Integrating into the broader context of civic education, legal education promotes the development of an active civic stance, the development of social responsibility, and an understanding of the individual's role in the legal space of society. This is not simply the assimilation of legal norms, but the development of a holistic legal culture as the most important quality of a mature individual. The need for targeted work to develop legal competence in adolescence and young adulthood is driven by a complex set of factors associated with the psychological and social immaturity of minors.

Abstract
the full-fledged training of young handball players includes the comprehensive development of physical abilities and the formation of motor action techniques. At the same time, coaches do not always have the opportunity to conduct training sessions with handball players on sports grounds of standard sizes. Very often, training sessions are held on sports grounds of non-standard sizes, which do not allow using the possibility of conducting control games. Team technical actions and game techniques of handball players must be used in the conditions of competitive activity. There is a problem of adapting the training process to game activity. Only thanks to the firmly mastered motor skills of game techniques, it is possible to quickly transfer and apply training tasks, which are improved in the conditions of a non-standard sports base, to game activities carried out on a full-size playground. The article presents the parameters of training, model-competitive loads performed by traditional flow and circuit methods of training on sports grounds of non-standard sizes. It has been established that the use of circuit methods in the training of young handball players increases the motor density of handball players by 1.5-2.5 times. This approach ensures the effective development of motor abilities and the mastery of handball players of game techniques that meet the requirements of game activity.
