The experience of domestic and foreign methodologists who were interested in the question of the competence of a foreign language teacher implementing content and language integrated learning (CLIL) is analyzed. On the basis of the studied works, the main categories of competencies are identified: a) foreign language proficiency at a level not lower than B2; b) teacher competence in the field of a profile subject; c) knowledge of the methodology of teaching a foreign language in secondary school; d) knowledge of the methodology of teaching a profile subject.

A description of the main psychological problems faced by normal hearing parents of a child with a severe hearing impairment is presented. A theoretical substantiation of the behavior of spouses with each other, as well as in dyads of a normally hearing father - child with severe hearing impairment and a normally hearing mother - child with severe hearing impairment is given. Experimental work on the topic of the study is envisaged in the future. 

The aim of the work is to identify the characteristics of blended learning of English, to determine the potential of blended learning application during the classroom. Presumably, blended learning provides opportunities to create conditions for better assimilation of lexical material. In order to confirm this hypothesis a pedagogical experiment of average duration was conducted among law courses’ students. The results of the experiment showed an increase in the average performance of the study group, which is probably a consequence of the following properties of the learning management systems (LMS): classroom use of LMS increases the overall involvement in the task; the use of LMS improves coordination between the teacher and students. Thus, the proposed model for the use of LMS can be applied to increase the learning outcomes of face-to-face classes.

In the work the following sociological methods of collecting information are reviewed: a) observation; b) questioning; c) survey; d) interview from the perspective of teaching a foreign language. Their analysis is carried out, a number of advantages and disadvantages are identified. The interview method showed itself as the most difficult, but at the same time, the most effective of all the listed methods.

The concept of responsibility for offenses committed in the field of environmental protection is considered. The important question of differentiation of criminal and administrative responsibility for these violations of the law, criteria and practical application of these types of responsibility in the Russian Federation, as well as in the Tambov region is raised. It is concluded that the establishment of less strict administrative responsibility for violation of the law in terms of environmental pollution and the need for greater severity in resolving disputes arising on this issue, which can serve as a starting point in improving the environmental situation.

The key provisions of international humanitarian law and an extensive analysis of the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols designed to control the activities of States during armed conflicts, both international and national in nature, are examined. It is concluded that the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols are the main international legal instruments regulating the conduct of war, and their main purpose is to protect the rights and freedoms of civilians.

The genesis of death penalty in Russia, as one of the types of criminal punishment from antiquity to the beginning of the XX century is examined. The purpose, reasons and circumstances of the introduction of this sanction in each historical period, its varieties and object-subject composition are determined. The periods of maximum and minimum practice of this type of punishment, as well as the reaction of society to the tightening and mitigation of this type of criminal repression are identified.

The aim of the work is to examine the issues of creation, planning and organization of activities of municipal authorities in the context of minimization of problem aspects throughout the activities of the authorities. An analytical study with the use of axiomatic and deductive scientific methods was conducted, in the course of which a significant number of negative aspects of local authorities’ activity was discovered. In order to organize the most productive activities, a number of problems were outlined and analyzed, both in the financial and lawmaking and executive process, which can themselves be a direction for further research already in the context of public authorities. The measures that must be taken to organize the most effective work of the municipal authorities, both in relation to the administered territory and to its population, were identified.

The aim of the study is to consider the history of the use of graphic elements in official documentation in Russia until the 20th century. The main graphic elements: seal, coat of arms and trademark are studied, the history of their emergence and development first in sphragistics and heraldry, and then their appearance in the official documentation are examined as well. The conclusion about the sequential appearance of graphic elements in the relationship between them is made.

The influence of media discourse on political correctness, its development and strengthening in the general sociolinguistic structure of society, the peculiarities of the functioning of this phenomenon in modern English are studied. The main examples of trends illustrating the direct impact of media discourse on the development of politically correct vocabulary are described. The most frequently used lexical tools and means that participate in the creation of media discourse phenomenon are highlighted.

The results of a survey of visitors of medical and preventive institutions suffering from allergic rhinitis are presented. Studies were conducted on gender differences; age characteristics; level of education; degree of disease severity; reason for visiting health care institutions; health self-assessment; attitude to healthy lifestyle; attitude to smoking; alcoholic beverage consumption; following doctor’s orders. A petal diagram was made based on the results of the study. Conclusions were made.

A study was conducted to examine the interaction between the Bank of Russia and consumers of services in the financial market. The analysis of the dynamics of complaints shows an increase in the number of appeals in April 2020. In order to reduce them, the Bank of Russia keeps records of appeals on the parameter “Assistance to the Complainant” and implements the project “Complaint as a Gift”. Analysis of products with the most frequent complaints can be used by organizations to improve the services provided.
