Abstract
The classification of ideographic documents and peculiarities of the digital method of their creation are examined. Programs for creating electronic forms of the main types of ideography are presented. Innovations, advantages of virtual media for this type of writing are described. The introduction of computer technologies is directly connected with the simplification of the means of creating and storing information. Thanks to them, the circle of users of electronic ideographic works has expanded.
