Abstract
The study is aimed at the hermeneutic analysis of verbally and verbally-visually represented semiotic meanings in the Russian political narrative. The main tasks are to identify, decode and interpret cognitive models of polycode semiotic constructs in electronic media. A wide socio-political and cultural contexts are used, deciphering semiotic codes used in various channels of perception. Blends of metaphorical and metaphtonymic cognitive constructs are given based on the mortal, somatic-mythological, religious, instrumental and religious, retributive, vendetta and protectionist models.
