Resumo
In recent years, metaphor has become one of the most pressing issues for research by linguists from different countries. As modern studies show, not only the language of fiction is metaphorized, but also the language of science and terminology, in particular. Based on the theory of conceptual metaphors by J. Lakoff and M. Johnson, the author of the article analyzes the metaphorical use of economic terms in modern Chinese-language media materials.
