Abstract
The article discusses features of the semantic transformation of the linguistic and cultural concept of “Christ” as part of the phraseological units of the modern Spanish language (the Pyrenean version). Starting from the semantic reconstruction of the biblical image of Christ, the authors analyze the destruction of the primary semantic structure of the concept, its linguistic and extralinguistic prerequisites.
