THE COURSE OF PREGNANCY AND DELIVERY IN WOMEN WITH EPILEPSY
Abstract
There were studied features of the pregnancy course, birth, status of newborns in the group of mothers with epilepsy. It was shown that in mothers with epilepsy significantly more frequently such adverse factors of pregnancy, as anemia, toxemia, pyelonephritis, and the threat of miscarriage were revealed. The conclusion about the need for timely planning of pregnancy in women with epilepsy, in order to prevent complications of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as to reduce the likelihood of hypoxic-ischemic and traumatic lesions of the Central nervous system of the fetus has been made.

PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL FEATURES AND SPEECH THERAPY STATUS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN WITH VIOLATION OF ARTICULATORY AND FINE MOTOR SKILLS AND DIRECTIONS OF THEIR CORRECTION
Abstract
There was performed a logopedic survey; physiological indicators in primary school children with general speech underdevelopment were studied. It is shown that the speech disorder in children is characterized by hypoplasia of all its components, sounding, articulation and fine motor skills; reduced attention, efficiency. There is a delayed response to a visual stimulus, which suggests the presence of inhibitory processes in the central nervous system, and psychomotor slowing. A set of didactic games and exercises to develop articulation and fine motor skills in conjunction with speech breathing was proposed.

STATE OF AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM INJUVENILES AFTER ACTIVE ORTHODONIC TREATMENT
Abstract
There was studied the state of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in 213 juveniles aged 15-16 years in the period of retention after active orthodontic treatment with the help of retained hardware. The dependence of the recurrence of the functional state of autonomic nervous system and the adaptive-mechanisms was determined. A relapse in the period following the active orthodontic retention treatment occurs in patients with high voltage and overvoltage of autonomic reactivity followed by the mismatch of ANS control and decreased adaptive capacity of the body and phenomena of vegetative dysfunction.

USE OF STATIC AND DYNAMIC STABILOGRAPHY FOR EARLY DETECTION OF POSTURAL PATIENTS WITH MILD COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT OF VASCULAR ORIGIN
Abstract
According to the objectives based on the analysis of the results of static and dynamic stabilography it was found that early manifestations of violations of maintaining a vertical posture in patients with mild cognitive disorder are signs of a slowdown in postural response: reduce the number of «errors», i.e. attempts of active stabilization of the platform and increase the average time postural response (p<0,0005), revealed at dynamic stabilography in the mode with closed eyes without acoustic and visual biofeedback.

BASIC MECHSNISMS OF PERIPHERAL NOCICEPTION
Abstract
In this review we present basic data on the biological role of different types of pain, and how pain is generated in the peripheral part of the nociceptive system. Many issues of peripheral nociception, which have a specific regional character, become clear only recently, thanks to new molecular and cellular technologies. Uncovering the molecular nature of pain transducers allows us to search now for specific analgesics and this gives us a hope that these new agents will reach the stage of wide clinical applications for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. This review precedes a series of other articles devoted to pain studies to be published in this and in the subsequent issues of the journal Nevrologicheskii Vestnik.

NEUOTROPHIC REGULATION OF SCELETAL MUSCLE PLASTICITY
Abstract
The review describes the mechanisms of nervous system influence on skeletal muscle phenotype and ways of their identification. In the main part of the review the questions on the definitive skeletal muscle fibers phenotype plasticity and the role of spinal motoneurons on transformation of skeletal muscle fibers are discussed. The special attention is given to the phenomenon of neurotrophic control of skeletal muscles. Based to the literature data and to our own experimental results the new view on the mechanisms of skeletal muscle fibers phenotype regulation is presented. The hypothesis where the leading role in regulation of skeletal muscle plasticity belongs to the motor centers of pyramidal and extrapyramidal systems is proposed.

PERIVENTRICULAR NEONATAL HEMORRHAGE
Abstract
There was performed an analysis of literature, devoted to periventricular hemorrhage (PVH), being the result of fragile blood vessels and unstable circulation in the brain of premature infants, which is the cause of main neurological disorders. It was shown that during PVH hemorrhage originates from subependymal germinal matrix. The germinal matrix is formed early during embryogenesis and is the site of glial and neuronal differentiation. At present no treatment and prevention modalities of both acute PVH and its consequences are developed.

MALIGNANT ALCOHOLISM
Abstract
The review provides domestic and international definitions and classifications of malignant alcoholism (MA), describes the clinical features of its course and risk factors. The role of organic brain damage in the MA development is emphasized, especially the traumatic brain injury. Neurobiological aspects of MA are also described in the review. The role of the patient’s age in the development of MA is analyzed. It is shown that development of alcohol dependence is associated not only with the age of onset of alcohol consumption, but also with a number of other risk factors. It is concluded that the complex multifactorial etiology of malignant alcoholism requires taking into account all the factorsinfluencing the development of this disease in each particularpatient to reach better treatment outcome.
