Artistic originality of reality in V.O. Pelevin's novel «Chapaev and Void»
Abstract
the article examines the artistic distinctiveness of reality in Viktor Pelevin’s novel Chapaev and Void, which merges postmodernist strategies of “play” and deconstruction with a profound Buddhist concept of emptiness. The author highlights the motifs of dual worlds, parallel realities, and the illusory nature of all forms of being. The analysis focuses on characters caught in a “liminal” state between two eras (1919 and the 1990s) as well as the symbolic ending that points to absolute freedom (“Inner Mongolia”). It is concluded that the novel offers one of the most original portrayals of artistic reality in contemporary Russian prose, blending postmodern elements with a Zen-Buddhist perspective on existence.

The manor world in the poetry of A.A. Fet: aesthetics, symbolism and philosophy
Abstract
the article is a study of the manor world in the poetry of Afanasy Afanasyevich Fet, one of the most significant poets of Russian literature of the 19th century. The manor in Fet's work is considered as a complex artistic image combining aesthetic, symbolic and philosophical aspects. The paper analyses the key motifs associated with the life of the estate, their symbolic significance and role in creating a unified image of nature and human existence. In Fet's poetry, the world of the estate appears as a space where nature, culture and human soul merge together, creating a unique artistic universe. The world of the manor in A.A. Fet's poetry is an idealised space where nature and culture merge. Through the details of the estate landscape – gardens, paths, ponds, pavilions – the poet conveys a sense of harmony and order and emphasises the aesthetic value of this world. The estate becomes a place of creative solitude where the lyrical hero finds inspiration and serenity. The symbolic meaning of the manor world is manifested in its correlation with the inner world of the lyrical hero. The manor becomes a metaphor for peace of mind, harmony and unity with nature. In Fet's poems, the estate landscape often personifies transience, beauty and vulnerability of the moment, emphasising philosophical reflections on the value of each moment of life.

Kamchatka dialect phraseology in classification and lexico-semantic aspects
Abstract
the article discusses the analysis of stable combinations in the dialects spoken by the Kamchadal people. The Kamchadal constitute a subethnic group within the Kamchatka region, represented by the Kamchatkan dialect on the linguistic map of the peninsula. Currently, various studies are underway to explore these late-settled dialects. However, to date, there has been no research on phraseological units. Dialectical phraseology reflects the culture, history, and unique characteristics of a region. This highlights the significance of the research being conducted. The aim of the study is to analyze Kamchatka dialects phraseology from a classification and lexical-semantic perspective. The main research methods include continuous sampling of linguistic data, descriptive-analytical methods, lexicography, classification, cognitive interpretative analysis, and its specific techniques such as etymologization and ethno-linguistic commentary on dialect expressions. The material for this study was obtained from a card index of Kamchatkan dialects, field notes, and audio recordings collected during expeditions to remote regions of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The paper identifies the main thematic categories of phraseological expressions, describes their semantics, and interprets numerous phraseological units with regard to their figurative content, cognitive orientation, and ethno-cultural specificity. The systematization of this phraseological heritage will help preserve and transmit to future generations the characteristics of dialectical phraseology that might otherwise be lost. The developed methods of analysis and methodology for describing phraseological materials can be applied to the analysis of fixed combinations within the systems of dialects in other regions. The materials of the article are of practical value for linguists, ethnologists, ethnographers, and cultural scientists.

The functioning of substantive adjectives with suffixes in Russian
Abstract
the article analyzes the functioning of substantive adjectives with suffixes in the Russian language. It is noted that the formation of any word, including motivated, is influenced by various processes that form its semantic structure. The adjectives in question are characterized by a fairly high level of production in the Russian language. This is due to their prevalence in the expression of various kinds of relationships and their use in various nominations. In phrases with an object meaning, the noun being defined is formed from a transitive verb. A dependent adjective is formed from a noun with a concrete subject, sometimes with an abstract meaning. To express object relations along with the genitive form of a noun, relative substantive adjectives with suffixes -sk-, -n-, -ov- are used in Russian. When expressing subject relations for adjectives, the suffix -n- is less often used, the suffix -sk- is productive.

Genre and compositional features of a longread as a multimedia work
Abstract
this study is devoted to the multimedia longread as a journalistic work based on a long text and rich visuals. The purpose of the work is to analyze longreads in terms of genre and compositional features. The topical issue is addressed: what exactly should be understood by the term "longread", and most importantly, to which category should such material be attributed - to the format or to the genre. The key aspect is that the structure of the material reflects its format, and the content indicates the genre. In the course of studying the issue, such methods as analysis, synthesis, comparison, and content study were used. The study showed that a longread can be attributed to both a format and a genre, depending on the point of view. Five main types of longreads are identified, which are distinguished by Russian scientists in the field of journalism. Based on the research data, ten of the most striking projects published by leading Russian media (TASS, Kommersant, Lenta.ru) are analyzed. The materials reviewed show that one longread can belong to several types at once: for example, to a portrait and an analytical type, or to a report, but with elements of reconstruction. At the end of the article, recommendations are given on creating high-quality longreads: when choosing a topic, pay attention to the long-term relevance of the material so that it is interesting to refer to it even years after publication, deeply study the research topic, relying on relevant sources, and also pay attention to the design so that the material is visually attractive and holds the audience's attention.

Lexical units of the thematic group "Clothing" in the aspect of lexical asymmetry in Gogol's poem "Dead Souls"
Abstract
the article provides a linguo-semiotic analysis of lexical units of the thematic group "Clothing" in N.V. Gogol's poem "Dead Souls". The study focuses on identifying interlingual asymmetry of lexical units when translating from Russian into English. The problems associated with the lack of equivalents, polysemy, and connotative differences are analyzed. Quotations from the poem are used as examples. The study also pays attention to the cultural aspects of clothing, reflecting the social and economic realities of 19th-century Russia. Clothing in "Dead Souls" not only plays a functional role, but also serves as an important social marker, which complicates the translation process. Cases are considered when specific lexical units may not have a direct analogue in English, which leads to the need to use adaptation or calque approaches. In addition, the authors of the article analyze how differences in the perception of clothing and fashion in Russian and English-speaking cultures affect the choice of translation solutions. It is shown that translators, when faced with polysemy and connotations, sometimes resort to creative methods to preserve the meaning and atmosphere of the original. The key findings of the work are the identification of the specific difficulties that translators face, as well as suggestions for improving the quality of translation through a deep understanding of cultural contexts. The article contributes to the fields of translation, linguistics and cultural studies, emphasizing the importance of an integrated approach to text analysis in cross-linguistic interpretation.

Linguistic characteristics of the poem «Requiem» by Anna Akhmatova reflected into the Spanish translations in Latin America
Abstract
so far the most well-known translations of the poem «Requiem» by Anna Akhmatova have been published in Spain, both in the second half of the twentieth century and at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Among the most relevant we find those corresponding to 1967 (Aquilino Duque), 1969 (V?ctor Andresco), 1984 (Jos? Ra?l Arango), 1994 (Jes?s Garc?a Gabald?n), moreover, this poem has a musical version made by ?ngel del Castillo, a Spanish composer. However, the translations published in Latin America of this poem have been very scarce, if not null. There is only one translation of this poem by a Latin American translator. However, for the present research, versions published in Latin America have been used, but not necessarily by Latin American authors. The objective of this research is to analyze the quantity and quality of information contained in the original text that the reader receives in Spanish in each version. On the other hand, starting from the premise that there is a loss in the transmission of the intrinsic poetic message due to the formal and conceptual differentials between the Russian language and Spanish, it plays a very important role to study the extent to which this fact gains relevance. The analysis consists of a linguistic-morphosyntactic, semantic, lexical point of view, and another culturological and semiotic point of view. The practical value of this article lies in the fact that there is no precedent for a comparative linguistic-stylistic study of a Russian poem based on the work published by two translators in Latin America.

On the issue of the emergence of Turkic-Lezgian language contacts
Abstract
the article discusses the emergence of Turkic-Lezgian language contacts. An explanation of common terms related to language contacts is given, as well as various points of view of researchers. A large number of Turkisms have penetrated into the Lezgian language. This was due to the territorial proximity to Azerbaijani villages, as well as the phenomena of otkhodnichestvo that took place in the pre-October period. Due to a number of extralinguistic factors, linguistic ties between Lezgins and Turkic-speaking peoples were widespread, and the facts of territorial interaction, the so-called internal factors, are obvious here. These lexical elements were used mainly when describing everyday life, as well as trade and cultural concepts. Living in neighboring territories had its own significance, since the management of economic and household relations replenished the social vocabulary of the Lezgian language.

Comparative analysis of phraseological units and paroemias with names of fish in the Russian and Kyrgyz languages
Abstract
the article provides a comparative analysis of one of the significant fragments of the phraseological picture of the world – phraseological and paremiological units with names of fish in the Russian and Kyrgyz languages. The main purpose of the work is to describe the universal and nationally specific features of these units, to study the factors that determine the various phraseological activity of zoonyms. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the studied units have a vivid national and cultural specificity, which is due to differences in the lifestyle and traditions of ethnic groups. Unlike the Kyrgyz ethnic group, fishing has traditionally been very important in the life of the Russian people, which has led to the formation of numerous phraseological units and parodies, including the names of various species of fish. Russian phraseological units are semantically diverse and are grouped into 5 semantic and grammatical classes. A common feature of Russian and Kyrgyz paroemias is the presence of an internal form based on the associative connection "fish – water", however, nationally specific components are also distinguished in the composition of proverbs – the names of a person by profession or the designations of certain types of commercial fish that are absent in the compared language. One of the manifestations of national specificity is the presence of phraseological units in the Russian language that go back to literary sources. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the results obtained in lexicographic practice and in translation studies.

Associative-semantic field of the linguocultural term "family" in modern speech
Abstract
verbalization of the associative-semantic perception of the family represents not only cultural, but also individual vectors of the functioning of modern speech. The purpose of the article is to analyze the associative-semantic field "Family", verbalizing the perception of this phenomenon in the speech of schoolchildren and teachers – residents of the Belgorod region. Research objectives: 1. To present the associative-semantic field "Family". 2. To identify semantic reactions to the linguacultureme "Family". 3. To formulate the value-semantic content of the family in the perception of residents of the Belgorod region. The central method for identifying the associative-semantic space of the family is the method of free associative experiment, thanks to which the semantic content of the family is illustrated and the cultural and value preferences of the recipients – native speakers of modern speech of different age and social groups are revealed. To establish the frequency of the reactions obtained, the method of quantitative analysis was used. An important place in modern linguistics is occupied by the study of anthropocentrism as an explicator of the interaction of man and the socio-cultural environment, therefore, an appeal to the results of the conducted free associative experiment as a means of verbalizing modern speech, in which the semantic, cultural and value universals of the linguacultureme “Family” are revealed, is relevant, since the linguacultureme is determined by the cultural environment and reflects the associative perception of the individual.

Features of expressing directive speech acts of advice, request and order in the form of imperative mood (on the material of modern Russian drama)
Abstract
this article analyses the speech acts of advice, request and order, compares them and identifies the differentiating features: hierarchical relations between speaker and hearer, beneficiary, right to refuse, consequences of refusal to perform, which allows us to identify the differences between them. It is noted that all three speech acts are subclasses of imperative speech acts, so they can be expressed in the form of imperative inclination. The characteristics of certain lexical items and/or particles of each speech act are analysed when they are expressed using the imperative mood. It is concluded that in order to judge the category of a particular speech act, it is necessary to evaluate it in connection with a specific context, taking into account the differentiating features, certain lexical means, particles.
