Abstract
so far the most well-known translations of the poem «Requiem» by Anna Akhmatova have been published in Spain, both in the second half of the twentieth century and at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Among the most relevant we find those corresponding to 1967 (Aquilino Duque), 1969 (V?ctor Andresco), 1984 (Jos? Ra?l Arango), 1994 (Jes?s Garc?a Gabald?n), moreover, this poem has a musical version made by ?ngel del Castillo, a Spanish composer. However, the translations published in Latin America of this poem have been very scarce, if not null. There is only one translation of this poem by a Latin American translator. However, for the present research, versions published in Latin America have been used, but not necessarily by Latin American authors. The objective of this research is to analyze the quantity and quality of information contained in the original text that the reader receives in Spanish in each version. On the other hand, starting from the premise that there is a loss in the transmission of the intrinsic poetic message due to the formal and conceptual differentials between the Russian language and Spanish, it plays a very important role to study the extent to which this fact gains relevance. The analysis consists of a linguistic-morphosyntactic, semantic, lexical point of view, and another culturological and semiotic point of view. The practical value of this article lies in the fact that there is no precedent for a comparative linguistic-stylistic study of a Russian poem based on the work published by two translators in Latin America.
