Features of the Discourse of Italian Press Conferences

Borisova E., Larina K.

Resumo

The article reviews the particularities in the use of speech in press conferences in Italian, as well as the principal linguistic and extralinguistic factors influencing their form and content. The dual, namely dialogical and monological basis of this genre, makes it important to analyze its features. The case of interest is the dual nature of the genre: despite the presence of a dialogical part that loses its communicative function and becomes a means of strengthening the position of the speaker for a more effective impact on the audience, press conferences are mostly monological, the fact of which is proved by the statistical analysis.

The Origins of Russian Vernacular

Egorova S.

Resumo

The article is devoted to the problem of studying the origins of Russian vernacular. Data of analyzed materials and context from Russian national corpus shows that the concept of “in vernacular” was first recorded in the 17th century, it is understood as a “natural” language, free from the techniques of Western European rhetoric and Greek ornate. In first half of 18th century it is observed about the expansion of the semantics of vernacular: this is not only a rejection of the means of eloquence, but also ordinary Russian folk speech. However, the systematic use of the term will come later - in Lomonosov’s works, and it will be used as a stylistic mark in the Dictionary of the Russian Academy.

Semantic Assimilation of Borrowings (focusing on connotative loans in Korean)

Mozol T.

Resumo

In the process of adapting borrowings in the recipient language there may be not only a narrowing or expansion of semantic meaning, but also a connotative shift. Borrowing from English is one of the important sources of neogenesis in modern Korean. The problem of the adaptation of loanwords in Korean is not sufficiently studied in both domestic and foreign linguistics. At the same time, changes of connotation in borrowings has received the least coverage. Therefore, this paper investigates and analyzes the examples of English borrowings with connotative shift.

Sentiment Analysis of Digital Communication

Potapova R., Potapov V.

Resumo

Digitalization in the field of the humanities is considered as a modern technological process of digital coding and decoding in a certain format of all types of humanitarian information that forms a certain information environment. The study of this environment includes many aspects: semiotic, semantic, emotional, valeological, etc. Special emphasis is given to the development of an iterative model, the analysis of which includes the dynamics of the transformation of the original digital text into a secondary digital intertext and then into a tertiary and n-ary interpretative text at the output of the communicative space, which, in our opinion, preconditions the emergence of an essentially new text; moreover, such a text is transformed with the help of special programs of digital censorship and digital editing into a completely new text. In this regard, we introduce the concept of a digital quasi-text containing transformed network information with elements of sentimentality and toxicity.

The Potential Influence of the Basque Language on the Formation of Specific Lexico-Grammatical Phenomena in French

Pylakina V.

Resumo

There are a number of phenomena in the French language which are not derived from the system of Latin, which served as the basis for the formation of French. The formation of compound tenses, the development in these tenses of two auxiliary verbs, avoir and être, the formation of the future simple, the twenty-digit counting system and a number of other features which appeared in the Gallo-Romanic period, indicate that this is the result of the influence of languages which were widespread in this area before Latin. Traditionally, some of these phenomena were associated with the Gallic substrate, but in this case one cannot deny the influence of the older, autochthonous languages, in particular, the Basque language.

The Cultural Identity of the Iraqi Kurds: Methodological Approaches to the Study

The Dialogue of Non-Intersecting Semiospheres in a Single Cultural Space

Maslova A.

Resumo

The article is devoted to the problem of intercultural dialogue and the problem of understanding in the culturologycal and philosophical aspects. The methods of neoanthropology, which proclaimed an ontological turn in the study of the otherness of the Other, and biosemiotics, which extends the semiosphere beyond not only civilization, but humanity as a whole, are applied to the identification of factors of understanding. The article offers a way of overcoming the dual opposition that polarizes the natural and the cultural, immersing consciousness in rigid categories that prevent an understanding dialogue.
