Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe, from the standpoint of syntactic semantics, the role of word-formation and grammatical means in the creation of condensed predications of an adverbial and attributive nature depending on the volume of the grammatical minimum of the sentence and the valence of the verb. The relevance of the article is due to the need to identify the factors that determine the place of condensed propositions in the syntactic and communicative structure of the German scientific text. Based on contextual and component analysis, verbal derivatives and composites, infinitive and participial phrases are studied.
