Abstract
The article examines the phenomenon of post-truth and fakes / fake news as false information presented under the guise of objective. When constructing fakes, pragmatic means are used to control the presentation of information, cognitive mechanisms for reframing reality and specially selected language tools. These tools are aimed at uncritical perception of information in favor of emotional and the formation of a sense of fear and guilt in the recipient.
