Abstract
Phraseological units are an integral part of the language; they contain the national originality of the elements of spiritual and material culture, the idea of the world of a particular ethnic group. This article is devoted to the analysis of Spanish phraseological units containing a gastronomic component. The semantic and functional aspects of Spanish phraseological units are considered. A classification of phraseological units has been carried out. A semantic and syntactic analysis of various phraseological units in the Spanish language was performed.
