Resumo

The paper studies the Soviet reception of Western Neo-Avant-Garde, that is a number of experimental movements in literature in 1950s-1970s. The articles about Neo-Avant-Garde in Soviet periodicals, such as “Literaturnaya Gazeta”, “Novy Mir”, “Inostrannaja literatura” and “Voprosy literatury”, as well as their ideological context are analyzed. The examples of French Nouveau Roman and Italian Group 63 are used to demonstrate the attitude of Soviet critics towards experimental literature throughout decades.
