REALITIES IN THE MONGOLIAN NOVEL “SHUGDEN” BY G. AYURZANA AND THEIR TRANSLATION INTO RUSSIAN

Abstract
The article investigates the interlingual transformation of the realities of the novel “Shugden” by the Mongolian writer G. Ayurzana, which aroused great interest among readers and stirred the whole Mongolian world. Over 50 general and religious realities of the novel and their translation into Russian are also analyzed. Established variants from scientific and reference literature on language and Buddhism are proposed for the translation of Mongolian and Tibetan realities, while the method of adaptation is used in other cases. For the transmission of Chinese names and titles, the Palladius transcription system is used as a basis. The work proposes a classification of the considered vocabulary and provides recommendations for their translation.
