Machine learning and artificial intelligence employ massive amounts of data to solve a wide range of profession-related problems. This practice, however, has not been reflected in the modern educational content. What is crucial in this context is a qualitative revision of the educational strategies used in the training of modern specialists.

The article reveals the importance of developing a foreign language teacher’s polylingual competence for the region. Digital Storytelling as a Technological Framework for Teaching Foreign Language Professional Communication to Science Students

The article presents an interdisciplinary study of the issues involved in teaching professional communication to science undergraduates. The study is aimed to develop a technology for the FL course and is rooted in the theories of media education, digital rhetoric, and digital storytelling. The technology was tested at the faculty of Physics and Mathematics (MGOU) and has proven itself due to its use of digital content, designed professional situations, scientific validity and topicality.

Developing translation competence in teaching translation (exemplified by the translation of the story “Jamilia” by Ch. Aitmatov from Kyrgyz into Russian and English)
Resumo
The article considers the problems of translating Kyrgyz realities, from the perspective of developing students’ translation competence focusing on culture specific words in fiction. The possibilities and advantages of using different techniques of text transformation in translating fiction are shown as methods of preparing future translators. Ch. Aitmatov`s story “Jamilia” and its translations into Russian and English are used as empirical material, the analysis of these translations shows the basic translation techniques.

Peculiarities of the Manifestation of Egocentrism in Young People When Compiling Posts for Communication in the Internet
Resumo
The article presents the results of a study of egocentrism as a personality property and egotism of college students in posts intended for communication in social networks in the Internet. The hypothesis about egotism in the process of communication among boys and girls in social networks is confirmed. It was found that students with a high level of egocentrism are less likely to post in social networks than students with medium and low levels of egocentrism.

The article dwells on the theoretical analysis of psychology and cybernetics in the system of sciences, research of mental representations of mental realities: life situations, emotional states, depression, motivation. The approaches to understanding mental representations are analyzed: level structure, development in ontogenesis, significance of subjective experience. The author shows the potential of technical means in the study of the mental representation of emotion recognition in foreign language speech, lexical units in the study of a foreign language.

The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Teaching a Foreign Language to Cadets

Learning is complicated by the emotions of pupils, and can negatively affect learning achievements and motivation. The interrelations of emotional intelligence and foreign language competencies is an open issue. The author presents the results of the study to identify the emotional intelligence degree and foreign language competencies of cadets. Their ambiguous interrelations are revealed, which determines the role of emotional intelligence and contributes to the organization of educational psychology support in mastering a foreign language.
