Abstract

The article analyses the impact of NBIC convergence on the transformation of value orientations of modern society. The role of artificial intelligence and neurotechnologies in the formation of new social and ethical paradigms is considered. The author studies new trends in the field of artificial intelligence, neurocontrol and cognitive research that shape the transformation of social and individual value orientations. The methodological basis of the study is a system analysis and an interdisciplinary approach to the study of modern scientific publications. As a result of the study, it was possible to identify: the change in the ethical framework in the context of AI; the formation of new norms in enhancing cognitive abilities; rethinking of an individual’s autonomy under the influence of digital technologies.
