HEALTHCARE OF THE TASSR FOR THE 42nd ANNIVERSARY OF THE OCTOBER REVOLUTION
Abstract
Soon after the victory of the Great October Revolution, when the Communist Party and the Soviet people were taking the first steps along a new, yet unexplored path, V. I. Lenin at the VII Party Congress said: “Starting socialist transformations, we must clearly set before ourselves the goal towards which these transformations, in the end, are directed, precisely the purpose of creating a communist society...".
This great goal has inspired and inspires our Party and the Soviet people to heroic deeds. The enormous organizational work of the Party, the titanic labor of the Soviet people, were crowned with brilliant victories. Socialism in the USSR won not only completely, but finally. On the basis of the successes achieved in building socialism in the USSR, favorable conditions have been created, all the material and moral prerequisites for the transition to a higher stage of social development.
TO DIAGNOSTICS OF INTERNAL HEART RUPTURE
Abstract
Known since the days of Harvey, heart ruptures are the most formidable complication of myocardial infarction. Distinguish between external and internal heart breaks. Among the latter, with myocardial infarction, ruptures of the interventricular septum are more common, described in sufficient detail by domestic clinicians. Much less often myocardial infarction is complicated by rupture of the papillary muscles of the heart.
TO THE CLINIC OF SPONTANEOUS HEART RUPTURE
Abstract
Among the pathological processes complicated by heart ruptures, an exceptional place belongs to myocardial infarction; in very rare, casuistic cases, abscesses, gummy damage to the myocardium, its leukemic infiltration, echinococcus, etc. lead to myocardial rupture.
LONG-TERM RESULTS OF SURGICAL SURGERY IN PURPOSE OF THE STOMACH AND DUEDENUM
Abstract
The best way to find out the effectiveness of surgical treatment of peptic ulcer disease is to collect long-term results, but the vast majority of this information was obtained separately by surgeons or therapists. The authors of this article, belonging to both specialties, decided to fill this gap and conduct research together. Persons who had undergone surgery for peptic ulcer disease and did not present any complaints were examined and examined on an outpatient basis. The persons who presented the complaints were placed in one or another clinic for the entire duration of the examination.
ENDOCRINE EXCHANGE DISORDERS IN SPINAL CORD TUMORS
Abstract
In spinal cord tumors, in addition to local changes caused by the local effect of the tumor, there are so-called symptoms at a distance, in the form of changes in cranial nerves, sensitivity, reflexes, etc. Changes in the overlying parts of the nervous system in spinal cord tumors are described alongside authors in the form of nystagmus, absence of corneal reflexes, weakness of the lower branch of the facial nerve, congestive nipples of the optic nerves, etc. MB Krol refers these symptoms to the so-called general phenomena associated with increased pressure inside the spinal canal. Flatau explains them by circulatory disorders and the possible toxic effects of the tumor, Marie-Foix admits the possibility of ascending myelitis. Barre, Thoma, Elsberg attach importance to the influence on vegetative elements at the level of tumor localization, other authors attach importance to the stagnation of cerebrospinal fluid over the area of compression.
EXPERIENCE OF AMINASINE APPLICATION IN OBSTETRIC PRACTICE
Abstract
In obstetrics, chlorpromazine was first used in case of excessive vomiting of pregnant women in 1952 by Rushi, then at Labori's suggestion in the treatment of eclampsia. Subsequently, chlorpromazine was used in the treatment of nephropathy, in the fight against obstetric shock, for pain relief in childbirth, during caesar section operations.
FISTULAS OF THE WOMAN'S GENITAL APPARATUS ON THE MATERIALS OF THE OBSTETRIC-GYNECOLOGICAL CLINIC OF THE KAZAN GUIDUV for 1946-1956
Abstract
For the period from 1946 to 1956. (for 11 years) 128 women with genital fistulas were treated in the clinic, which is 0.38% in relation to the total number of hospitalized. According to the materials of our clinic dating back to 1920-1935, this percentage was much higher — 1.12%.
ON THE EPIDEMIOLOGY OF HEMORRHAGIC FEVER WITH RENAL INDOMA IN THE FOCALS OF THE MIDDLE VOLGA REGION
Abstract
Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (infectious nephroso-nephritis) as a disease with natural focus is of certain importance in the regional epidemiology of not only the Far East, but also a number of regions of the European part of the USSR and many foreign countries. In foreign literature, a similar disease is known under the names: "Epidemic Haemorrhagic Fever" (USA, England, Japan). "Nephropathia epidemica" (Norway, Sweden) and others.
ULTRA FREQUENCY THERAPY FOR CERTAIN LESIONS OF THE PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
Abstract
Pain, as noted by I. Ya. Razdolsky, caused by the influence of an external factor is a signal of danger, and arising in the body itself is a signal of trouble. Severe and prolonged pain, regardless of the severity of the pathological process that caused it, sharply reduces the social value of the human person, often excluding him from participation in productive labor for a long time.
THE INFLUENCE OF WORKING CONDITIONS ON THE HEALTH AND INCIDENCE OF LINOTYPISTS OF THE KAZAN PRINTING PLANT
Abstract
In the domestic and foreign literature, there are contradictory information about the possibility of the release of lead vapor by a linotype machine. Those authors who consider linotype production without harmful, explain this by the fact that its technology allows such temperature boundaries of the linotype alloy, within which the release of lead vapor should not occur (Rosenstein, Khludov, Ocep).
ABOUT ANTI-COAGULANTS TREATMENT FOR PATIENTS WITH MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
Abstract
We studied the data on the treatment with dicumarin and pelentan in 71 patients with myocardial infarction. According to the age structure, the patients were distributed as follows: up to 40 years - 5 people, from 41 to 50 years - 12, from 51 to 60 years - 21, from 61 and older - 33.
Transperitoneal extraorganic tumors
Abstract
Retroperitoneal tumors develop from organs and tissues located behind the posterior parietal peritoneum. They can relate to the kidneys, which is most often the duodenum, pancreas, lymph nodes, bones, muscles, retroperitoneal fatty tissue, nerve trunks and plexuses.
TO SURGICAL ANATOMY OF THE VESSELS OF THE HORSESHEAD KIDNEY
Abstract
The success of surgical interventions on the horseshoe-shaped soil largely depends on the knowledge of the topography of its vessels. However, in each individual case of this kind of anomalies, the renal vascular system has a number of morphological and topographic features. They concern not only the beginning, course and number of renal vessels, but also their relationship with neighboring organs. Since the literature has established an opinion about the inconstancy and variability of the vessels of the horseshoe-shaped kidney, a significant number of works are devoted only to the description of the observed violations, while the applied value of such messages is rather modest. Studies from the school of V.N. Shevkunenko showed that the circulatory system of the kidneys, reflecting the process of differentiation of the urinary system, is characterized by a delayed reduction. Therefore, it should be expected that, depending on the stage and degree of disturbance of the embryogenesis of the urogenital system, its vascular system should change accordingly.
Case of Kidney Lymphangioma
Abstract
Patient O., 53 years old, was admitted to the urology department on 7 / V-55 for a tumor in the right half of the abdomen, which she accidentally felt herself, about a year ago. Over the past 2-3 months, the tumor began to noticeably increase in size, periodically the patient began to worry about cramping pains in the abdomen and in the right half of the lower back, constipation appeared. Urination remained normal, no blood urine was observed. In 1941, there was an operation for uterine fibroids.
MULTIPLE BRAIN TUMORS
Abstract
Primary multiple brain tumors of unequal structure with localization in different parts of it are very rare, especially benign ones. Their diagnosis during life is extremely difficult. In the literature available to us, we have not found observations similar to ours.
DYNAMICS OF BLOOD PRESSURE IN PATIENTS WITH TRAUMATIC EPILEPSY
Abstract
A number of authors note a significant lability of blood pressure in organic diseases of the brain. Naturally, in epilepsy, which is characterized by an inert focus of excitation in the cerebral hemispheres, especially during and after an epileptic seizure, significant disturbances in the activity of the heart and vascular tone should be expected due to a violation of their cortical regulation. However, clinical studies of vascular tone in patients with epilepsy described in the literature are few in number and in many respects contradictory.
MAXILLARY PREGNATION COMBINED WITH MICROGENIA AND OPEN BITE
Abstract
Anomalies of the dento-maxillofacial region arise under the influence of external and internal conditions that change the growth and development of the child's body. Deviations from the norm, which are not noticeable in early childhood, increase as the child grows, and often, by the end of its formation, a deformity is formed that disfigures the face, with pronounced violations of the functions of chewing, speech and breathing.
ABOUT THE MECHANISM OF ALLERGIC PHENOMENA IN THE APPLICATION OF MEDICINAL SUBSTANCES
Abstract
For a long time, cases of complications with the use of various medicinal substances have been described in the medical literature. Complications were noted with the action of iodine drugs, pyramidone, quinine, salvarsan, barbiturates, hormones, etc. In recent years, sulfa drugs and antibiotics have found widespread use among drugs. Suffice it to say that, according to the literature, more than half of all recent prescriptions in the United States were antibiotic prescriptions. At the same time, if at the dawn of the use of these drugs complications were quite rare, then as clinical observations accumulated, the facts of certain side effects began to emerge - from skin rashes to severe general reactions resembling anaphylactic shock. Such reactions do not make up a large percentage of all cases of using these drugs, but the fact that they can sometimes be severe and worsen the course of the underlying disease attracts the attention of doctors.
ACCORDING TO THE PAGES OF THE POLISH JOURNAL "MEDICAL REVIEW" FOR 1958

RADIOACTIVE PLASTIC MASSES
Abstract
Plastics are currently widely used in various fields of industry, medicine, in everyday life, etc. This range of applications, quite naturally, can still be significantly expanded if radioactive substances are introduced into plastic and used as an emitter. Such emitters can be prepared in various sizes, shapes and activities.
ROMAN ALBERTOVICH LURIA
Abstract
(Москва)
The largest representative of scientific medical thought, Honored Scientist, Professor Roman Albertovich Luria was widely known not only among doctors and scientists of the Soviet Union, but also abroad. Only in the post-October period did he get the opportunity to widely develop his creative abilities. Throughout his clinical career, Roman Albertovich has invariably been a conductor of advanced ideas in Soviet medical science and medical practice. He easily accepted the ideas of functional pathology that were close to him in spirit, the ideas of nervousism put forward in their time by I.M.Sechenov, S.P.Botkin, I.P. Pavlov. Roman Albertovich constantly developed these ideas in front of his students, they run like a red thread in all of his lectures, speeches and printed works. The evolution of medical knowledge, which led to the synthesis of somatic and mental categories and established in science and practice the idea of a person as a single psycho-physical whole, inextricably linked with the environment, found its expression in his clinical concepts.

INTERRECTIVE MEETING ON ACUTE INTESTINAL INFECTIONS IN IVANOV
Abstract
Deputy Minister of Health of the RSFSR AF Serenko made a report "The state of the incidence of intestinal infections in the RSFSR and the next tasks in the fight against them." He noted that the issues of combating intestinal infections play a huge role. In 1958, compared with 1957, dysentery decreased by 24.6%, and general intestinal diseases by 16.1%. It has been established that the etiological moment in intestinal dysfunctions is not only dysentery bacillus, but also pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli. In the 1st quarter of 1959, there was a decrease in the main infectious diseases, at the same time, an increase in dysentery was noted in a number of places (Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk regions, Komi ASSR, Arkhangelsk oblast, Karelo-Finnish ASSR, etc.).

During these pains, the patient noted an increase in temperature up to 37.2-37.4 °.
About the cardiac reflex from the upper respiratory tract
Abstract
In the works of all authors known to us who have studied the reflex properties of the upper respiratory tract, there is no information about the study of the reflexogenic properties of the nasopharynx. Our studies have established the presence of a large number of nerve elements, including shaped receptors, in the tissues of the nasopharynx, and it can be assumed that the nasopharynx is also one of the reflexogenic zones of the upper respiratory tract (c.p.)
Features of the course of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer when combined with hypertension
Abstract
According to our observations, the combination of peptic ulcer disease with hypertension is observed in 5.6%, and since both diseases are very common, then in absolute terms we get a significant contingent of people suffering from these two diseases simultaneously.
Hemorrhagic form of paratyphoid B
Abstract
Hemorrhagic forms of typhoid fever were first described in 1853 by Richter. These forms of the disease are characterized by tissue hemorrhages, bleeding from the nose, gums, intestines, and profuse petechial rash. The disease is difficult and usually fatal. It is rare.
Features of Vidal's reaction in typhoid-paratyphoid patients treated with synthomycin
Abstract
Vidal's reaction was studied in dynamics in 200 patients (typhoid fever — 173, paratyphoid fever A — 6 and B — 21). All diseases arose as a result of household contact infections. Severe course was recorded in 40%, moderate - in 56% and mild - in 4% of cases.

Diagnoses of the direction were very diverse, only in 12 cases were diagnoses made: ovarian cancer (6) and malignant tumor of the ovary (6) There were also diagnoses such as acute abdomen, cirrhosis of the liver, acute appendicitis, pregnancy.
A Brief Guide to Emergency Diagnosis and Therapy of Internal Diseases. Medgiz, 1958
Abstract
The fourth edition of N.Ya. Chervyakovsky's "Brief Guide to Emergency Diagnostics and Therapy of Internal Diseases" leaves a good impression. It answers many of the questions encountered in the practice of a general practitioner, and especially an emergency doctor. It seems to us that the author did the right thing by including in the manual emergency diagnosis and therapy not only for internal diseases, but also for a number of surgical and nervous diseases.
Clinical Lectures on Internal Medicine, Part One. Gorky, 1959
Abstract
The importance of clinical lectures in shaping the truly medical thinking of senior medical students and the young doctor can hardly be overestimated. They, in the apt expression of the late V. I. Glinchikov, "are the thoughts of a thinking doctor". No wonder the leading figures of domestic internal medicine, starting with S.P.Botkin, G.A.Zakharyin, A.A. Ostroumov and ending in Soviet times V.I.Glinchikov, S.S. Zimnitsky, M.G. Kurlov and M. P. Konchalovsky, willingly resorted to this form of the printed word, as the best way to communicate with medical youth, while transferring to her not only valuable factual knowledge, but also the methodology of clinical thinking.
