Abstract
The success of surgical interventions on the horseshoe-shaped soil largely depends on the knowledge of the topography of its vessels. However, in each individual case of this kind of anomalies, the renal vascular system has a number of morphological and topographic features. They concern not only the beginning, course and number of renal vessels, but also their relationship with neighboring organs. Since the literature has established an opinion about the inconstancy and variability of the vessels of the horseshoe-shaped kidney, a significant number of works are devoted only to the description of the observed violations, while the applied value of such messages is rather modest. Studies from the school of V.N. Shevkunenko showed that the circulatory system of the kidneys, reflecting the process of differentiation of the urinary system, is characterized by a delayed reduction. Therefore, it should be expected that, depending on the stage and degree of disturbance of the embryogenesis of the urogenital system, its vascular system should change accordingly.
