NEW ASPECTS OF APPLICATION OF METHYL-4H-THIENO[3,2-b]PYRROLE-5-CARBOXYLATES AND DERIVATIVES IN SYNTHESIS. A REVIEW

This review summarizes the results of the authors' study of chemical transformations of basic N-substituted methyl 4H-thieno[3,2-b]pyrrolecarboxylate in two main directions concerning the synthesis of new polymers and heterocycles (isoquinolines). In the first part presents data on the synthesis of a series of polyheterofunctionalized polymers based on the first developed from monomeric starting 4N-substituted bis-4H-thieno[3,2-b]-pyrrolomethanes and structurally similar products of cross-coupling (1H-pyrrol-3-ylmethyl)-4H-thieno[3,2-b]-pyrroles, their physicochemical properties were studied, possible step-by-step routes of formation and examples of practical use were proposed. In the second part the results obtained in the course of studying the AlCl3-promoted acylation reactions of N-benzyl- and N-2,3-dimethoxybenzyl-substituted methyl 4H-thieno[3,2-b]-pyrrole carboxylates with acid chlorides of the above-mentioned acids with the isolation of a new topology isoquinolines fused with 4H-thieno[3,2-b]pyrrole and benzene rings are discussed.

SYNTHESIS AND SELECTIVE REDUCTION OF α,β-UNSATURATED KETONES CONTAINING A CYCLOACTAL FRAGMENT AND THEIR ANTICOAGULANT AND ANTIPLATELET ACTIVITY

Saturated ketones and unsaturated alcohols containing a 1,3-dioxane moiety were synthesized by selective reduction of α,β-unsaturated ketones obtained by condensation of 5-acyl-5-methyl-1,3-dioxane with various aldehydes in the presence of bases. Their anticoagulant and antiplatelet activity was studied. (E)-3-(furan-2-yl)-1-(5-methyl-1,3-dioxan-5-yl)prop-2-en-1-one exhibits anticoagulant activity comparable to acetylsalicylic acid and reduces the rate of platelet aggregation by 1.6 times.

A convenient method for the synthesis of optically pure secondary heteroaromatic S-alcohols by asymmetric reduction of prochiral heteroaromatic ketones catalyzed by D. carota or P. crispum cells has been developed. Using o-, m-, p-bromophenylethanone as an example, we studied the effect of the substituent position in the aromatic ring of acetophenone on the efficiency and stereoselectivity of carbonyl group bioreduction by D. carota and P. crispum catalysts.

An effective approach to the synthesis of three ricinoleic acid derivatives containing pyrazole, pyrazoline, and hydrazide fragments has been developed, starting from castor oil and based on its initial conversion into methyl-(Z)-12-oxo-octadec-9-enoate, isomerization into methyl-(E)-12-oxo-octadec-10-enoate, and interaction with hydrazine hydrate.

FIRST APPLICATION OF GRANULAR HIERARCHICAL ZEOLITES X IN THE SYNTHESIS OF ANILINE FROM NITROBENZENE BY HYDROGEN TRANSFER METHOD

The catalytic properties of FAU zeolites with different porosity (microporous Na-X and granulated micro-me-so-macroporous Na-Xh, K-Na-Xh and CuO/Na-Xh) in the synthesis of aniline by the reaction of nitrobenzene with 2-propanol were studied for the first time. It was found that the maximum yield of aniline of 94% with almost complete conversion of nitrobenzene is observed on the CuO/Na-Xh catalyst (300°C, 20 wt. % catalyst, nitrobenzene : alcohol = 1 : 16 mol/mol, 5 h). The high activity and selectivity of the CuO/Na-Xh zeolite are due to its hierarchical porous structure, as well as the presence of the maximum number of "weak" and "medium" acid sites. Zeolite K-Na-Xh demonstrates the lowest selectivity for aniline and an increase in side reactions of acetone condensation, which is apparently associated with a decrease in the number of acidic sites and the appearance of basic sites.

FUNCTIONAL CH-ACIDS AS FREE RADICAL GENERATORS

For the first time, CH-acids, which include oxygen–oxygen bonds, are discussed as sources of free radicals, and their acid center (carbon atom) is represented by the main reaction center that determines the thermally induced transformation, accompanied by the coordinated (simultaneous) transformation of several bonds. The relationship between the type of hybridization of the acid center and the transformation (homolysis or heterolysis) of the C–H bond upon thermal action on CH-acid has been established. A variant of control of technological processes taking place by a radical mechanism is proposed, taking into account the localization of an unpaired electron in a radical.

NONSTOICHIOMETRIC TITANIUM NITRIDES IN THE SYNTHESIS OF MAX-PHASES

摘要

A new method for obtaining compact samples of titanium nitride solid solutions of a given composition with a yield of up to 95% is proposed. Synthesis proceeds by forming gradient structures based on TiN and non-stoichiometric titanium nitrides containing the required amount of nitrogen, followed by homogenizing annealing in argon atmosphere. It is determined that TiN0.5 nitride is an effective precursor for the shape-preserving MAX-phases synthesis during heterophase binary interaction with metallic aluminum at temperatures of about 1000–1100°C.

The chromogenic effect in molecular systems capable of existing in two isomeric forms, caused by the inversion of the thermodynamic stability of isomers during the transition from the condensed state to the gas phase at low residual pressure and defined as barochromism, was discovered in a series of benzothiazole spiropyrans. This, along with what was described earlier for indoline spiropyrans, allows us to assume the universal nature of the discovered phenomenon.

AQUEOUS DILUTED SOLUTIONS OF MELATONIN: SELF-ORGANIZATION, PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND EFFECT ON HYDROBIONTS

A complex of physicochemical methods (dynamic and electrophoretic light scattering, conductormetry, UV spectroscopy, fluorescence) and ecotoxicological tests were used to study aqueous diluted solutions of the hormone melatonin, which is an endo- and exogenous regulator of animal and plant metabolism. The relationship between the reorganization of the dispersed phase, non-monotonic change in specific electrical conductivity, and fluorescence intensity of the melatonin solutions occurring with dilution, and their effect on the mortality of cladocerans and the growth of wheat roots is shown. It has been established that the most significant impact of the melatonin solutions on biotest objects is in the range of calculated concentrations of 1·10−18, 1·10−14–1·10−12, 1·10−8–1·10−6 M, at which the maximum change in the parameters of the dispersed phase and physicochemical properties was detected.
