The Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation

Abstract

In February 2024, the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation approved the updated “Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation”, the fundamental document of strategic planning in this field. The Strategy was written with a lot of verbiage and little specificity. This clearly does not correspond to the spirit of our times, since the time of ellipticality has passed. The updated version of the Strategy raises many questions that require reflection and discussion.
