STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF A HIGH-ENTROPY AlCrFeCoNi ALLOY AFTER ELECTRON-ION-PLASMA TREATMENT

摘要

With the help of wire arc additive manufacturing, a HEA of AlCrFeCoNi was prepared: of a non-equiatomic composition, on which a B + Cr film with a thickness of ~1 μm was deposited by plasma-assisted RF sputtering. Subsequent processing consisted in electron-beam irradiation of the surface with the following parameters: energy density 20–40 J/cm2, pulse duration 200 μs, frequency 0.3 s–1, number of pulses 3. A quasi-periodic distribution of chemical elements (at. %) 33.4Al; 8.3Cr; 17.1 Fe; 5.4Co; 35.7 Ni is established. It is shown that at the energy density of the electron beam Es = 20 J/cm2, the microhardness increases by a factor of 2, wear resistance by a factor of 5, and the friction coefficient decreases by a factor of 1.3. High-speed crystallization of the surface layer leads to the formation of a subgrain structure with subgrain sizes (150–200 nm). The increase in strength and tribological properties during electron-beam processing is interpreted taking into account the reduction in grain size, the formation of chromium and aluminum oxyborides, and the formation of a solid solution of boron incorporation into the HEA crystal lattice.

For the first time, in a single experiment, the dependence of the position of the phonon absorption peaks in the IR spectrum (range 11–40 μm) for all five stable monoisotopic germanium single crystals was studied. The dependence obtained can be used to study the mass composition of germanium of various isotopic purity.

摘要

Magnetic particles (MPs) based on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanocrystals are increasingly used in modern research for the development of express technologies for high-precision determination of the concentration of biomolecules. In this work, we developed a universal method for using MPs as polyfunctional agents that perform several different functions in one analysis for topical issues of biochemical and medical diagnostics, based on the original technology of ultrasensitive detection of nonlinear magnetic nanomaterials. The method was tested for the rapid quantitative registration of cardiac markers and SARS-CoV-2-associated molecular markers in complex matrices. The proposed method is promising for creating test systems for prehospital monitoring, particularly for emergency molecular diagnostics in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction, as well as for the rapid detection of coronavirus infection.

SURFACE PLASMON-POLARITONS IN THE VO2-DIELECTRIC-METASURFACE STRUCTURE BASED ON GRAPHENE IN AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD

In this paper presents the results of a study of the behavior of surface plasmon polaritons in the layered structure of VO2–SiO2-graphene-based hyperbolic metasurface under the influence of an external magnetic field before and at the beginning of the phase transition of vanadium dioxide. As a result of calculations, it is shown how the Isofrequency contour of surface plasmons changes taking into account the different direction of the external magnetic field. It is also shown how an external magnetic field affects the direction of static magnetization caused by the inverse Faraday effect. This work can offer additional ways to control the behavior of surface plasmons, as well as become the basis for the study of new self-adjusting structures.

EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE CREEP OF ENAW 5251 (AMg2) ALUMINUM ALLOY UNDER STEP LOADING

摘要

In conditions of high-temperature creep, the evolution of the damage of metallic materials is observed. To describe this effect, the damage conception of the Kachanov-Rabotnov is used. The damage parameter is defined as the relative changes of the material density, which is an integral characteristic of the damage. Taking into account this parameter and the law of conservation of mass, interrelated kinetic equations for creep deformation and damage parameter are formulated. Analytical solutions of these equations are obtained for the case of two-stage loading. Experimental studies of uniaxial stress state under conditions of high-temperature creep under two-stage loading of aluminum alloy ENAW 5251 (AMg2) at a temperature of 250°C were conducted. A good agreement of the obtained theoretical curves with the experimental results is observed.

摘要

A worst disturbance problem for an oscillator with quadratic-law damping is stated. The role of the disturbance is played by an external force applied to the oscillator. It is assumed that this force acts in one direction, that the integral of this force with respect to time is given, and that at the initial time instant the oscillator is resting in the equilibrium position. It is required to find a time history of the disturbing force that maximizes the maximum (with respect to time) of the absolute value of the displacement of the oscillator’s body from the equilibrium position. The worst disturbance is found and investigated from among rectangular pulses under which the disturbing force is constant on an initial time interval and is equal to zero outside of this interval.

摘要

A numerical study of two-dimensional cellular detonation of a hydrogen-air mixture in channels of various widths was carried out and data were obtained on the process of formation of a cellular structure, on the number, shape, and size of cells depending on the channel width. Based on the results of calculations, a classification of two-dimensional cellular detonation structures was carried out. The study was carried out at the facilities of the JSCC RAS. The flow model of a multicomponent reacting mixture was implemented using a customized opensource solver of the OpenFoam framework based on the Kurganov–Tadmor scheme.

NONLINEAR FORCED OSCILLATIONS OF A BUBBLE IN A LIQUID

摘要

Forced nonlinear oscillations of a gas bubble in a liquid are investigated when the frequency of fluctuations in the external pressure of the liquid is equal to the natural frequency of the bubble (resonance). By the method of averaging, a simple formula is derived for the dependence of the oscillation amplitude of a gas bubble on the amplitude of the external pressure and the thermophysical characteristics of the gas and the viscosity of the liquid. Its good agreement with numerical calculations is shown up to the value of the oscillation amplitude of the bubble radius comparable to its equilibrium value.

This paper presents an approach for designing the compact and miniature infra- and low-frequency vibration isolation systems based on the layered composite elastic elements with adjustable negative and quasi-zero stiffness. New problems of modeling the specified parameters of stiffness and bearing capacity of the elements of a certain geometry under combined mode loading are solved by varying the structure, elasticity and configuration of the layers, and by controlling the local mobility of the binder. The approach is valid with the results of experimental designing and studying the system models. Application of the approach makes a qualitatively change in solving a number of critical issues of vibration and noise control in the aerospace and other promising engineering.

CARBON-FREE RUSSIA: IS THERE A CHANCE TO ACHIEVE CARBON NEUTRALITY BY 2060?

摘要

The prospects for reducing the carbon intensity of the Russian economy and the possibility of achieving climate neutrality of the national economy by 2060 are studied On the basis of a historical-extrapolation approach to the study of the development of various sociotechnical systems by comparing with the dynamics of carbon indicators of the economies of the leading countries of the world, it is shown that full compensation for anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) by absorption by the biosphere (primarily forests) is theoretically possible with implementation of difficult-to-implement large-scale reform programs in all sectors of the country’s economy – from energy to forestry. Thus, in an optimistic scenario, the rate of decline in specific GHG emissions per capita should be the maximum value achieved in the world over the past 50 years at 1% per year, and forest management should include full compensation for growing deforestation and a 50% reduction in forest losses from fires, which are currently the second (after energy) sources of GHG emissions into the atmosphere. The most likely scenario is one with a rate of reduction in specific GHG emissions per capita of 0.5% / year, and a moderate increase of the absorbing capacity of forests mainly due to the implementation of forest-climate projects and fire emission reduction. Under the latter scenario, net GHG emissions by 2060 could reach 0.7 Gt CO2eq, which would require the creation of a national industry for large-scale carbon capture and storage in order to achieve climate neutrality of the Russian economy.

A new architecture of photosensitive elements for the near (0.7–1.4 μm) and short-wavelength (1.4–3.0 μm) infrared regions of the spectrum based on hybrid nanostructures consisting of PbS colloidal quantum dots and functional layers of ZnO and AgNW silver nanowires is proposed. Small-sized (12 × 12 μm) photosensitive elements with an energy barrier at the contact between layers of n- and p-type CQDs have been studied. The current-voltage characteristics, spectral dependences of optical absorption and relative spectral photosensitivity of Si(λ)/Simax) barrier structures at room temperature have been studied. It is shown that the proposed architecture of barrier structures provides photosensitivity in a wide spectral range from 0.4 µm to 2.0 µm. An excess of the average value of the relative spectral sensitivity Si(λ)/Simax) about 1.5 times compared to those previously observed in the wavelength range of 0.9–1.85 μm for barrier nanostructures from PbS CQDs was found.

Orientation (EBSD) and transmission electron microscopy have been used to study the structure and orientation relationships of α' and γ-phases in medium-carbon steels during rotational friction welding. It is shown that, as a result of phase recrystallization, martensite with interlayers of the γ phase is formed in the structure of the welded joint. The formation of secondary (reverted) austenite was established by the form of the spectrum of angular deviations of interfacial boundaries. It is shown that, in this case, an orientation relation close to the Bein one is realized between the crystals of the α and γ phases.
