Characteristics of the Subgenre of a Sales Page within the Genre of a Web-Site in the English-Language Advertising Discourse

Resumo
In the article the peculiarities of a sales page of a company web-site are analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion about the possibility of singling out of a sales page subgenre on the basis of such features, as stability (the recurring use in conventionalized communicative settings), presence of permanent characteristics and a set of communicative purposes. In the paper the classification of the main characteristics of this subgenre is provided. An example of a sales page of a product is analyzed to describe the mechanism of interaction of the textual and graphic component within this subgenre.
