Resumo
The article deals with the analysis of the linguistic means that form the image of a criminal in the modern German-language crime chronicle and detective novel. The authors of the article pay special attention to the glorification and demonization of destructive social behavior with the help of certain language strategies that acquire an eschatological character of the use of absorption in a global apocalyptic context. Each of these strategies is described in detail and illustrated with examples in German.
