Abstract
The article continues the analysis of the theme of St. Petersburg in the works of I. Brodsky, started by the authors in the previous publication. The image of St. Petersburg, which forms the basis of the poetic universe of I. Brodsky, brings the poet to general cultural analogies. The formation of St. Petersburg falls on the epoch of classicism, when Russian poetry was born there. The classical orientation to antiquity laid the core of Russian poetry, first of all, in St. Petersburg. So, through the image of his hometown, there is a mental return of the poet himself there.
