Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to define the place and the Russian theme in the fictional world of the novel „Landscape Painted with Tea“. The study is carried out by using the methods of close reading, intertextual and comparative analyses. A conclusion was made that the novel „Landscape Painted with Tea“ is a literary representation of M. Pavich’s panslavistic viewpoint which was represented with the intertextual references to Russian literature classics of the 19th century compounded of Russian historical cultural motives.
