Abstract
The article analyses tendencies and changes in the Danish fiction about Greenland and the history of its colonization during the 20th century. The aim is to show the variety of landscapes that represent Greenland in the texts of Danish speaking writers and to examine how the old stereotypes and myths are deconstructed using the postcolonial theory and the phenomenon of «arctic orientalism».
