Abstract

The article describes the work of a simultaneous interpreter within the framework of the Danish-Russian language pair. The purpose of the study is to describe and analyze linguistic difficulties that a specialist faces while preparing for simultaneous interpreting with a rare language, taking into account cultural specifics of the region (Greenland). The article deals with various stages of preparation that simultaneous interpreters with a rare language go through.
