Abstract

Gestures are defined as one of the most prominent sources of information in communication. The present research focuses on gesture behaviour of actors and actresses in one of oral types of drama discourse - TV play. Gestures are assumed to attach additional sematic meaning to communicative interrelation between men and women. The article demonstrates similarities and differences of gesture behaviour of men and women.
