Abstract
The research is made according to main ideas of cognitive linguistics and is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of the German anthroponym Patriarch in cross-domain comparison in the media. Based on an in-depth analysis of the corpus, the paragon characteristics of the anthroponym are determined, and several universal recurrent linguocognitive comparative models with anthroponym as an element are identified.
