Stereotypes about Russians in Modern German Novel

Abstract

The paper deals with ethnical stereotyping from the point of view of the cognitive linguistics. It analyzes the means of verbalization of social stereotypes about Russians in modern German literary text on the material of “Black and White Novel” by Marion Poschmann. The conclusion about the prevailing negative heterostereotypes in the novel is made.
