Cultural Studies in the Context of National Implementation

The article analyzes the problems of reflecting the civilizational confrontation between the West and Russia in the educational process. In this situation, an increasingly important role belongs to national sovereignty, and therefore the task of forming a new, patriotic paradigm of the educational process becomes urgent. Russian education has traditionally included not only the transfer of knowledge, but also the development of civic worldview positions. Culturology faces new, important tasks in this regard. Some of them are considered by the author.
