Resumo
The article focuses on identifying similarities and differences between Chinese and Russian linguistic and cultural traditions to foster intercultural understanding. The authors analyze the meanings of love in the Chinese and Russian languages, demonstrating that the concept of “love” serves as an example to explore the specific characteristics of the conceptual spheres in Chinese and Russian linguoculture. The study examines the semantic diversity and cultural peculiarities of the concept, as well as its reflection of various cultural contexts and social values. The article emphasizes the diversity and complexity of the notion of “love” in the linguistic and cultural traditions of Russia and China. The research contributes to enhancing Russian-speaking readers’ understanding of the Chinese language and culture, offering recommendations for educators and translators working with intercultural texts.
