Resumo

The article examines the works of Russian thinkers and scientists N. F. Fedorov, D. S. Likhachev, G. S. Batishchev, M. M. Bakhtin in order to define the concept of “culture of participation”. The following methods were used in the study: analysis, synthesis, generalization, and interpretation method. These methods helped to define the culture of participation as a code of Russian culture, as well as to identify the foundations and specifics of the culture of participation as a form of openness of relations that constitute the existence of culture. The value of dialogical communication is emphasized, which is necessary for improving human life, as well as for the effective organization of joint actions and cultural practices that can influence the activities of modern socio-cultural institutions.
