The categories of Tense and Aspect in the Bakhtiari dialect

The proposed article is devoted to the study of the categories of tense and verb aspect in the Bakhtiari dialect within the linguistic and geographical map of modern Iran. The Bakhtiari dialect (Luri-Bakhtiari) is a linguistic variation of the Lur language, which belongs to the southwestern block of Iranian languages and dialects. Features of the territorial position and the high level of linguistic deviation make it difficult to fully study all elements of the linguistic picture of Iran. Iranian dialectology is currently unable to draw a clear line of demarcation between the dialects themselves and closely related languages. The object of the study is the Luri-Bakhtiyari dialect, as an integral part of the linguistic picture of modern Iran. The subject of the study is the aspectual tense forms of the verb of this dialect. In this work, the methods of description and comparison were used. The description method was used to identify specific features of the verb in the Luri-Bakhtiari dialect, and the results were compared with the literary norm of the Persian language using the comparison method. The author claims that the collection of data in the form of notes and comments and their subsequent analysis using the comparative method allowed to conclude that there is a big difference between the standard Persian language and the Bakhtiari dialect. Thus, the article examines in detail the typo-modern system in the Bakhtiari dialect. It was found that there are 7 forms of verb tense in the Bakhtiari dialect and the main way of forming these forms is to attach various person indicators to the verb stem. It is assumed that the results of the work will be used in the classification and description of the grammar of the Luri-Bakhtiari dialects.
