Abstract
A series of novel 1,2,4-thiadiazole derivatives bearing 1,2,4-oxadiazole is synthesized. Structures of the synthesized compounds are confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectra. All products are evaluated for their anticancer activity towards human cancer cell lines: MCF-7 (breast), A549 (lung), Colo-205 (colon), and A2780 (ovarian), and demonstrate good to moderate anticancer activity. Four synthesized compounds are characterised by potent activity.
