Abstract
A series of novel furan sulphonamide derivatives 13a–13j was synthesized. The structures of the compounds are confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectra. All newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their anticancer activity against three human cancer cell lines, including breast cancer cell (MCF-7), lung cancer cell (A549) and melanoma cancer cell (A-375). The compounds 13a–13c, 13e, 13g–13j demonstrated the activity higher than the positive control.
