The Testament of Henry Kissinger: Six Models of Leadership in an Era of Deficient Strategic Thinking and Political Foresight

Abstract

"Leadership" is the latest book by Henry Kissinger, patriarch of world diplomacy, Secretary of State and Adviser to the President of the United States on National Security. (The book was published in English in 2022 and had a subtitle omitted in the Russian-language edi- tion: Six Studies on Global Strategy). The book is based on a study of six styles of leadership, six biographies of famous political figures of the twentieth century, with whom H. Kissinger had the opportunity to meet and work. For each politician whose motives and activities are analyzed in the book, the author has identified a special feature characterizing the leadership strategy: Konrad Adenauer has a strategy of humility, Charles de Gaulle has a strategy of will, Richard Nixon has a strategy of equilibrium, Anwar Sadat has a strategy of transcendence, Lee Kuan Yew has a strategy of excellence, Margaret Thatcher has a strategy of conviction. The assessments of the leaders considered in the book are naturally americanocentric, made through the prism of ideas about the national interests of the United States and their foreign policy and ideological aspirations. However, despite this feature, H. Kissinger's view of the biographies of famous politicians is of great interest due to the interpretations of their activities by a well- known master of diplomacy, an expert in the history and theory of international relations, a direct active participant in many events discussed in the book.

4. Категории субъектов персональных данных: все Пользователи Сайта, которые дали согласие на обработку файлов «cookie».

5. Способы обработки: сбор, запись, систематизация, накопление, хранение, уточнение (обновление, изменение), извлечение, использование, передача (доступ, предоставление), блокирование, удаление, уничтожение персональных данных.

6. Срок обработки и хранения: до получения от Субъекта персональных данных требования о прекращении обработки/отзыва согласия.

7. Способ отзыва: заявление об отзыве в письменном виде путём его направления на адрес электронной почты Оператора: info@rcsi.science или путем письменного обращения по юридическому адресу: 119991, г. Москва, Ленинский просп., д.32А

8. Субъект персональных данных вправе запретить своему оборудованию прием этих данных или ограничить прием этих данных. При отказе от получения таких данных или при ограничении приема данных некоторые функции Сайта могут работать некорректно. Субъект персональных данных обязуется сам настроить свое оборудование таким способом, чтобы оно обеспечивало адекватный его желаниям режим работы и уровень защиты данных файлов «cookie», Оператор не предоставляет технологических и правовых консультаций на темы подобного характера.

9. Порядок уничтожения персональных данных при достижении цели их обработки или при наступлении иных законных оснований определяется Оператором в соответствии с законодательством Российской Федерации.
