Аннотация
On June 13, 2024, the All-Russian Research Institute for Documentation and Archives (VNIIDAD) jointly with the History and Computer Association (AIC) held a round table. The theme of the event: "Resources of public authorities (databases and websites) as a historical source and object of archival storage". The roundtable was organized as part of the implementation of the 2024 R&D Plan on the topic "Acceptance of databases of state information systems, state registers, and websites for storage in state archives".

Information resources as part of historical research source base: the experience of History and Computer Association
Аннотация
The experience of the History and Computer Association (HCA) in the creation and use of information resources of historical information science (information and analytical), a modern interdisciplinary direction in historical research, is analyzed. Information from primary sources, both archival and published, are the basis for the secondary sources creation – from local databases, descriptive, tabular and graphical research results – to large-scale thematic resources of a scientific and educational nature. The sources of information, dynamics and structure of information resources resulted from the development of thematic databases and websites of a scientific and educational nature are considered.

Аннотация
The problems of appraisal for databases in the context of appraisal criteria are considered. The acquisition of databases in the Archival Fund of Russian Federation is analyzed, proposals on further regulation and methodological support of acquisition processes are presented.

On the Archival Branch Staffing in the CIS Member States in 2021–2023
Аннотация
The issues of archival branch staffing in the CIS member states are considered as part of archiving development monitoring in 2021–2023. Information on the personnel potential of archival institutions of the CIS member states by age group is presented. The following statistics about archival institutions’ employees are analyzed: the average monthly salary, the quantitative and qualitative composition, and the correspondence of the education specializations and education directions to job responsibilities. Issues of retraining and advanced training of personnel are highlighted.

The Implementation of Documents Execution Monitoring Based on Multi-Criteria Data Analysis in the Document Flow
Аннотация
An approach, based on multi-criteria data analysis, allowing a quick assessment of problems associated with the documents execution, is considered. As one of the management decision support tools it is aimed at monitoring of document execution modes and facilitate the identification of the most important documents for making operational decisions, which arise problems during the execution. The possibility of implementing performance discipline monitoring modes based on multi-criteria data analysis is presented.

Аннотация
M.P. Ilyushenko’s scholarly views on the document cultural function are considered. Her conclusions about traditions, customs, lifestyle, norms of behavior, and value systems as reflected in the documents of each epoch, which can be traced both in the general form of the document and in its individual elements, are analyzed. M.P. Ilyushenko’s approaches to the understanding of the term “culture” in relation to the phenomenon of the document are highlighted.

Аннотация
The background of the provincial academic archive commissions (PAAC), their activities and significance for the source base formation of local studies are considered. Regulatory acts on their organization are presented, the sequence of appearance in various provinces is revealed, the main directions of activity are indicated, and the main activists are named. The activities of the Penza Academic Archive Commission based on the documents from fund No. 131, stored in the State Archive of the Penza Region are described.

The process of the state archival institutions transition the jurisdiction of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs in the Gorky region is studied. The completeness of recording the state, material and personnel support of the Gorky region archival institutions in 1939 in documents of the Central Archive of the Nizhny Novgorod region are analyzed.
