On the Evolution Consistency of the Prose by Gaito Gazdanov (1926–1970)

Resumo

The relevance of the study is due to the interest of modern literary criticism in Russian modernism. The literature of the 20th century is characterized by the intensification of the processes of convergence of various generic principles. The article attempts to reveal the originality of artistic synthesis in the novel prose of Gaito Gazdanov. The authors made an attempt to reveal the originality of artistic synthesis in the novel prose of Gaito Gazdanov. The article concludes that one of the generating properties of the writer’s prose is the convergence of generic principles (plot schemes, types of events, the nature of subject relations contain properties typical of epic, lyrics and drama).
