Abstract
Following on the methodology of studying the myth, the author of the article raises the problem of Viktor Sosnora's autobiographical myth. In his memoir-essay book “The House of Days” V. Sosnora intersperses the facts of a real autobiography with mythological and fantastic ones. The autobiographical myth of Sosnora has both a lyrical and an epic, narrative nature: lyric and narrative feed each other here, saturated with myth. The language of the lyrics is necessary for Sosnora to activate the myth. In the discrete system of his myth, several or even many heroes (the narrator himself, Feofan the Greek, Lilya Brik, Vasily Kamensky, and others) are one mythologized image of the writer.
