Изучение влияния процессно-жанрового подхода на академическое письмо учащихся и их навыки мышления высокого порядка (Higher Order Thinking Skills)

Аннотация
Цель. Многие исследования были сосредоточены только на одном исследовательском подходе, следовательно, полученные результаты оказались недостаточно исчерпывающими. Чтобы изучить влияние процессно-жанрового подхода на академическую письменную компетентность и HOTS, это исследование параллельно отслеживало и отношения, и ожиданий студентов в связи с их образовательным опытом с в контексте использования процессно-жанрового подхода.
Методы. В исследовании использовался последовательный объяснительный подход смешанного метода. Обучающиеся с разными уровнями уровнях владения необходимыми компетенциями были выбраны случайным образом для зачисления в экспериментальный и контрольный классы (около 52 учеников). В анализе использовались два инструмента: письменный тест и тест на выявление уровня HOTS для извлечения количественной статистики и полу структурированное интервью для получения качественных данных. Данные письменного теста и теста HOTS были роанализированы для t-теста парной выборки, t-теста автономной выборки и MANOVA, а данные интервью были проанализированы с использованием методов тематического анализа.
Выводы. Результаты исследования продемонстрировали, что процессно-жанровый подход оказал существенное положительное влияние на уровень развития академического письма и мыслительные навыки высокого порядка (HOTS) студентов. Кроме того, тематический анализ продемонстрировал благоприятные восприятие и ожидания студентов относительно влияния процессуально-жанрового подхода на академическое письмо и HOTS. Полученные результаты призваны обогатить знания о том, как обучающиеся могут улучшить свои навыки письма и HOTS, используя процессно-жанровый подход.
