DIDACTIC PROBLEMS OF MOBILE APPS INTEGRATION IN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

The widespread and unprecedented popularity of mobile devices among young people leads to their spontaneous use in the educational process. Misuse of mobile devices in education results in inevitable difficulties and complexities that all participants of the educational process face today. One of the problems is the lack of well-developed methodological framework of mobile technologies implementation. It is aimed on analysis of some key issues related to the methodological framework of mobile technologies in language classroom, namely the conditions, methods and forms of integration, the evaluation criteria and typology of mobile applications, the most commonly used in the teaching of foreign languages. The evaluation criteria of mobile apps helps teachers choose a quality mobile tool for development of student communicative skills. The presented typology of applications, based on their didactic or pedagogical potential, allows teachers not only to orient in a huge mass of mobile resources, but also to get acquainted with educational opportunities provided by various apps.

BRITISH MILITARY SLANG: THE INFLUENCE OF WORLD WAR I

Abstract

The turn of the XX century sees an increase of interest in the armed forces of NATO, in particular in the armed forces of the United States and its closed military partners. Among the reasons for this is global instability caused by the interventions of western countries’ coalitions in Central Asia, the Middle East and Northern Africa. This provides the background for linguists’ and interpreters’ attention being paid to the military vocabulary of English. The World War I is of interest not only as one of the largest armed conflicts of all time, but also as an event that created an environment conducive to the intensive development of military communications between various countries (and, together with this, language and culture). The World War I had an unprecedented influence on the development of the slang of the British armed forces. The development of British military slang in the course of the World War I is considered. Lexical units of British military slang of the time are examined and analyzed. They are classified t thematically. A conclusion is made on the influence of massive scale armed conflicts on the development of military slang.

PECULIARITIES OF ENGLISH POPULAR-SCIENCE TEXTS’ TEACHING TRANSLATION OF SENIOR FORMS OF NON-HUMANITARIAN PROFILE

Abstract

Questions concerning teaching translation of popular-science texts at school are considered. Actuality of the chosen theme is explained by the fact that spheres of a foreign language knowledge are being spread recently. The challenge of specialists with a foreign language knowledge can be seen in scientific, technical and working specialities. This is demonstrated by the growing force of International movement WorldSkills, where a foreign language knowledge is very important for understanding and fulfilling the task. The main peculiarities of scientific style, touching upon the types of text structures, which are very important for teaching translation are described. It is also determined that the translation order of English group words, containing key words and some attributes. As the attribute has not got a constant place in a sentence, it can be used before the key word (left attribute) and after it (right attribute). As a rule, we can observe the right-left translation of such word groups. The process of teaching translation is impossible without understanding the concept scientific world’s view. It is known that every scientific sphere is characterized by phenomena, laws, concepts. The scientific world’s view of senior forms students is formed through the terms and concepts of subject spheres: science, mathematics. It is necessary to note, that acquiring knowledge of scientific style by senior schoolchildren will help them to better the subject knowledge of science direction and to develop the cognition of reality.

PEDAGOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ WRITING SKILLS USING PEER REVIEW METHOD

Abstract

The identification and validation of psycho-pedagogical conditions of training students majoring in International relations writing skills using peer review method is considered. Under the psychological and pedagogical conditions we mean external measures of influence on the process of teaching a foreign language training, which are aimed at both the intensification of the learning process, and the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of learning outcomes. The following psychological and pedagogical conditions, which account for the effectiveness of the training needs of students of international relations on the basis of written communication reviewing the method are discussed: a) the development of positive motivation of students to participate in training on the basis of the review of the method; b) updating of a subject position of the student in the learning process of the international written communication; c) grouping of students in the group based on the level of foreign language knowledge; d) students’ proficiency in a foreign language at B1 level; e) development of students’ ICT competence; f) following stages of algorithm. Taken together, these psycho-pedagogical conditions will affect the selection of training content, methods and forms of education and, ultimately, the outcome of training.

A high-profile manager should have a wide range of skills at his disposal for the efficient handling of managerial tasks, the skill to communicate professionally at all levels being one of the most significant. Written communication plays an important role in managerial activities since he has to deal with written communicative acts on a daily basis. Mastering written communication in a foreign language is an indispensable skill for a modern manager. The role and place of written communication in a foreign language in the professional communication of the manager are considered. The practical examples of situations in which the manager has to deal with written business communication are given.

Sravnitel'nyy analiz nastoyashchego vremeni v yazykakh romanskoy gruppy

Abstract

The сomparative analysis of the present tense in the Romance languages (on the basis of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French) is made. The analyzed scientific works let make a comparative analysis of the present tense in Romance languages (on the basis of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French). Also the possibility of simultaneous learning of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French based on the lexical and grammatical similarities of these languages is demonstrated. In particular, the number of conjunctions, which exist in the Romance languages, drawing a parallel between Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French and Latin, is compared. Also, the comparison of the ways of formation of the present tense of regular verbs is made and the list of common irregular verbs of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French is given. Finally, the cases of usage of the present tense are compared. Thus, comparative analysis of the present tense permitted to reveal the following similarities in the lexical and grammatical structure of the Romance languages: an equal number and similar principle of verb conjugation; similar number of irregular verbs for all the Romance languages; common cases of usage of the present tense. It is concluded that on the basis revealed similarities between Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French it is possible to develop a method of simultaneous study of several foreign languages of this group.

USING A GROUP BLOG IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

The role of ICT-technologies in the modern world, the relevance of the usage of ICT-technologies in education is studied. The conception of “blog”, blog classifications and different ways of their usage in the learning process are revealed based on an analysis of the academic literature. Using blogs in education becomes possible due to such features as convenience, universality, accessibility, authorship, archiving. It is noted that the advantages of using a group blog in foreign language teaching and selects its didactic features. The group blog is a common space for a group of pupils and their teacher where they can discuss the subject topics that they are interested in. Such blog unites a team, group pupils become equal members of the team. Unlike a tutor blog, learners maintain a group blog, write posts and comment other posts, create surveys. In other words, they express autonomy and independence. It is the perfect way for developing writing skills and critical thinking skills. It is offered to include the following didactic features: the realization of a cooperation principle and principle of equality, the formation of pupils’ independence and autonomy, the building loose teaching, asynchronous learning within the group blog. Each of these features is described.

Abstract

Modern system of physical education worldwide provides the formation and consolidation of the growing generation health, working capacity increase, formation of highly-moral qualities, spirits, strength and endurance, upbringing of healthy and happy students’ youth. The youth must not only be a well-educated person but also spiritually beautiful, physically prepared, hard. Physical training is an essential part of students’ life because it is an essential part of people’s culture, a sphere of vital needs satisfaction in physical activity, provides methods and means of strategic aim realization of harmonic personality formation - its physical improvement, it plays a very important role in the problem of development and rational use of free time decision. Patriotism has been always taking a special place in Russian society life, being a key problem of Russian nationhood making, its protection from external expense, national relations implementation and spiritual life. Patriotic upbringing is not possible without an example. During all the periods of our history the warriors were brought up on the example of feats of epic heroes and also real people, heroes who had been remembered during many years - grand prince Sviatoslav, Alexander Nevsky and Dmitry Donskoy, Kuzma Minin, Dmitry Pozharsky. The examples for the young people became famous commanders and sea captains A.V. Suvorov and M.I. Kutuzov, P.S. Nakhimov and F.F. Ushakov and many others. At the moment the complex “Ready for Labour and Defence” has not only become one of the means stimulating all-sided physical training of youth and adults, it is also a form due to which people systematically start doing sports. It is also a system that has a patriotic component. The complex “Ready for Labour and Defence” involved young people in mass physical training and gave them the ability to do elite sport, contributing to the development of Russian sport. Many outstanding sportsmen started their sports career by passing the norms of “Ready for Labour and Defence”. And the complex “Ready for Labour and Defence” is an important component of youth preparation for service in the forces of Russia.

THE PECULIARITIES OF READY FOR LABOUR AND DEFENSE V STAGE COMPLEX IMPLEMENTATION IN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS (according to the teachers’ interrogation data)

Abstract

The results of the PE teachers’ opinion about peculiarities and the implementation of All-Russian health and fitness complex “Ready for Labour and Defense” basing on the example of Belgorod region are presented. The analysis was made to collect the data of special scientific literature and to interrogate PE teachers in the type of a talk. The teachers answered 10 basic questions. 108 teachers from country and city comprehensive schools of Belgorod region in 2016 were interrogated. During the research some peculiarities of PE teachers’ opinion about the need of changes in physical training of higher grade students to correspond the needs of Ready for Labour and Defense complex of V stage, the implementation of specific physical exercises, methods of development of physical abilities, the reduction of physical training time for students’ testing are discussed. The peculiarities of the methods and means used for physical training of students of higher grade to pass the norms of Ready for Labour and Defense complex, the amount of time, which teachers give during PE lessons and also remarks and proposals about the improvement of complex ready for Labour and Defense implementation in general educational organizations are considered. The typical drawbacks, factors, making more difficult the process the process of Ready for Labour and Defense complex implementation in schools are studied. The collected data are published for the first time. They can be valuable in the process of Ready for Labour and Defense complex implementation in general educational institutions of Russia, correction and improvement of separate events in the process of preparation and acceptance of norms and requirements of Ready for Labour and Defense complex among higher grades students, meeting the requirements of V stage of Ready for Labour and Defense complex and also the planning of future tactics and strategy of students’ physical preparation.

Abstract

Adaptive sport has a multi function focus on all-round development of the personality of the person with disabilities, provides a solution corrective, compensatory and wellness objectives to overcome the defects of physical development, compensation, deficiencies in motor and mental spheres. One of the main tasks of modern society towards people with disabilities is to maximize their adaptation to independent living, employment, master the profession. The problem of the normal functioning and engagement in society of the person with disabilities involves the enlargement process and the enhancement of social relations, creating a favourable environment to achieve maximum compatibility of a disabled person with a natural social environment. Integration of disabled persons in society can only be done through their development and inclusion in various socially meaningful activities. Revitalization of the work with people with disabilities by means of adaptive sport has great social value and contributes to the humanization of the society and, first and foremost, to change attitudes towards this population group. Adaptive sports-mass and physical-improving work with persons with disabilities, in all regions should be aimed at increasing the number of people going in without pre-selection and for all age groups disabled population. The main objective of these adaptive sports activities to stimulate the desire of people with disabilities, and persons with disabilities to daily physical and sporting activities, and further motivate and engage them in competitive sports and activities.

EXPERIMENTAL WORK ON PEDAGOGIC POTENTIAL FOUNDATION OF LEISURE AND HEALTH-GIVING TECHNOLOGIES IN ORGANIZATION OF HEALTH-RELATED REST FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION

Abstract

The experimental work is carried out to substantiate the pedagogical potential of recreational and health technologies in organization of medical-improving rest of the younger generation. The relevance is in improvement of the work of institutions of medical and health activities of the younger generation provided the study of the pedagogical potential of recreation and wellness technologies and the development of a model to its implementation. The pedagogical potential of recreational and health technologies in organization of medical-improving rest of the younger generation conducted a sociological survey on the basis of establishments of culture and leisure Tambov and Voronezh regions, which was attended by 300 people. The study identified the degree of involvement of respondents by organization of therapeutic recreation, analyzed current trends in the organization of medical-improving rest, explored the development of innovative approaches to therapeutic recreation, analyzed the training of child and adolescent therapeutic recreation, summarized the views of respondents concerning the improvement of therapeutic recreation. The experimental work served as the basis for developing models of implementation of pedagogical potential of recreational and health technologies in organization of medical-improving rest of the younger generation, as well as educational programmes. Analysis of the results allowed to conclude that the introduction of a model actively influences motivational, cognitive, operational, communicative, reflective, emotional, creative sphere of a person's life.

Abstract

The aim is generalization of experience of realization the technologies of hospital clown and clown therapy in the practice of socio-cultural activity. The features of development the technologies of hospital clown in the Russian and foreign practice of social-cultural rehabilitation are open up. The phenomenon of the hospital clown is studied as a system of its tasks, functions, evolution in Russia and foreign countries. The features of the education of volunteers and professionals are investigated in area of clown therapy; the most effective approaches and receptions were analyzed. The analysis of activity of international organizations in the area of clown therapy is given. The experience of activity of leading specialists in the area of hospital clown (P. Adams, W. Bernie, C. Simonds, V.M. Olshansky, K. Sedov and others is considered. The main direction of activity of the organizations of hospital clown - providing of regular social support and help in the hospitals and in the hospices for children with heavy diseases and their parents are presented. This type of socio-cultural rehabilitation supposes a help in socialization and harmonization of children-orphans in child’s houses and child’s funny houses; assistance of adaptation and rehabilitation the children, getting in difficult vital situations as a result of emergencies.

Abstract

Attention is drawn to the growing role of the family in difficult and changeable social and economical conditions of modern life, caused by it problems. The specificity of social and psychological approach to family examination in modern social and economical conditions that consists, on the one hand, in search for objective standards in order to differ types of family, on the other hand, in describing content-rich characteristics of family as a natural small group and peculiarities of certain family type affecting personality is proved. The necessity of matching and integration of social and psychological approaches to family examination, each of them has its own traditions of group examination, is mentioned. The specificity of approaches written above and their role in unified social and psychological approach to family examination is examined. Aim and tasks of social and pedagogical family examination as a direction of professional activity of tutor-psychologists and social care teacher based on social and psychological approach are defined. FROM THE HISTORY OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL UPBRINGING IN RUSSIA

Abstract

The history of formation and development of social upbringing in Russia is considered. At the end of XIX century there was the burst of pedagogical innovations in developed countries of the world in response to crisis of the educational system that concerned Russia. Negotiation of this crisis seemed to be in using new approaches in pedagogy (labour school, social pedagogy, ideas of free upbringing and so on). Special attention is drawn to the influence of social sphere on a child, which includes problems of social influence on personality. The cooperation of school and social sphere in upbringing young generation from the end of XIX to the beginning of XX century is analyzed. The essence of the concepts “pedagogization of environment”, “public upbringing”, “social upbringing” is defined. It is mentioned that the direction “pedagogy of environment” that examined influence of social sphere on a child in national pedagogical science was formed in this period. Attention is drawn to reasons which influence possibility of rehabilitation of concept “social upbringing”. It is concluded that this science and subject area comprise problems which are connected with social upbringing of different groups of people and that “social upbringing” is key concept of social pedagogy.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE IN SOVIET RUSSIA: FROM MARRIAGE REGRESSION TO CONSERVATIVE FAMILY (1917-1920-s)

Abstract

The evolution of the ideological and legal concepts of marriage and family in Soviet Russia in the period from 1917 until the end of 1920-s is analyzed. It is revealed that one of the reasons for the transformation of ideas about marriage and the family is the obvious devastating social and legal implications of the revolutionary experiment in marriage-family relations to the state. The legal and social regulators behavioral patterns of the population in the marriage-family relations, the development of appropriate legislation are considered. The process of changing the legislation in marriage-family sphere and the practice of state regulation of marriage-family relations in the post-revolutionary period from the beginning of the revolution proclaimed “freedom of love” to tighten policy in this matter in the second half of 1920-s are analyzed. The process of synchronizing change the ideology of marriage-family relations and the relevant legislation is traced. It is alleged that the practice of development and application in the 20 years the rules of marriage-family relations on the basis of a revolutionary-innovative ideas do not stand the test of public life practice. The revolutionary experiment led to a devaluation of behavioral norms, to the loss of many human norms of behavior control. The traditional family has confirmed its significance as the most important social institution.

ROMANIA’S NATIONAL SECURITY INTERESTS IN THE CONTEXT OF PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE EUROPEAN SECURITY AND DEFENCE POLICY

Abstract

The European Union represents a unique form of cooperation, and become a major player, given the fact that its foreign policy has an impact on the international architecture. Some of the ambiguity of this phenomenon by means of the interpretation in terms of several research methods is analyzed. Moreover, the main coordinates of the development of the European Security and Defencе Policy are examined, in the framework of expressions of national security interests of the EU Member States, especially Romania. In order to understand the genesis and evolution of the European security and European defence policy, as well as the relations between the European Union and Romania, are addressed two additional methodological practices: the objective, based on the concept of epistemological explanations, and the interpretive practice based on the epistemological concepts of understanding and interpretation. Romania has consistently advocated for the improvement and promotion of its national interests, effectively using the tools of its national diplomatic, economic, military and information power. Active participation of Romania in achieving the objectives of the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP), transformed into the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), brings both advantages and new responsibilities in the field of security.

THE ROLE OF “PROSVITA” IN THE FORMATION OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS IN EASTERN GALICIA (at the end of 60-s XIX - the beginning of XX century)

Abstract

The meaning of peoples’ reading room opening at the territory of Eastern Galicia in the second half of XIX - the beginning of XX century is studied in the development of national self-consciousness of Russinian for this period of time. The appearance and development of reading rooms is characterized, the role of representatives of basic movements of Russinian social-political thought, Greek-Catholic clergy and secular intellectuals in the becoming of reading clubs, the reasons and dynamics of relation change of different groups of peasants (first of all, depending on their social, age and gender belonging) to the opening institutions are revealed. The influence on regular members of reading rooms is analyzed depending on difference in managing staff of branches of big organizations, coordinating the activity of public clubs - Russophile “Mikhail Kachkovskiy Society” and mostly Ukrainophilia “Prosvita”. The question considering the nature of publications, proved in public reading rooms - educational, fiction, scientific and productive-agricultural literature, the change of readers’ preferences, focused on fiction work are studied. Due to comparative analysis of this literature it is concluded that the reasons of success of “Prosvita” spreading comparing to “Mikhail Kachkovskiy Society” which lie in availability of language of the literature and the direction of publishing, on satisfaction of economical and social needs of peasants and citizenry.

MUSEUM EXPOSITIONS AS A PART OF POLITICAL-EDUCATIONAL TASK OF MUSEUMS IN TAMBOV PROVINCE IN 1920-1941-s OF XX CENTURY

Abstract

The role of museums in political-educational and agitation-and-propaganda activity of museums in Tambov province and Tambov region in 1920-1941-s of XX century is considered. After Russian revolution the museums had a task to participate in cultural and political education, in formation of Marx and Lenin’s world view among people. The the state’s policy making, included the museums in ideological task and lead to changes in the methods of building the museum expositions. In that period out of museum, agitation forms prevailed in work with people - lectures, mobile exhibitions, assigned to political companies. The exhibitions as a form of museum’s activity help antireligious propaganda, increased the knowledge level, inclusion to history and art, acquaintance with the funds of regional museums, sanitary and hygienic education of the region. Mobile exhibitions served the people living in distant regions of Tambov province, widening the geography of museum’s activity. The basic material of such exhibitions was prepared exhibit items, posters, battle-cry, brochures, which lead to decrease of the basic function of museums were selection, storage and exhibition of historical-cultural rarities. In 1920-1941 the auditory does not only widens but its social content changes. The different understanding of the museum, the process of museum activity widening, the ability to reach close connection with the society, increase of ideological influence of museums on the cultural life of Tambov are considered.

8. Субъект персональных данных вправе запретить своему оборудованию прием этих данных или ограничить прием этих данных. При отказе от получения таких данных или при ограничении приема данных некоторые функции Сайта могут работать некорректно. Субъект персональных данных обязуется сам настроить свое оборудование таким способом, чтобы оно обеспечивало адекватный его желаниям режим работы и уровень защиты данных файлов «cookie», Оператор не предоставляет технологических и правовых консультаций на темы подобного характера.

9. Порядок уничтожения персональных данных при достижении цели их обработки или при наступлении иных законных оснований определяется Оператором в соответствии с законодательством Российской Федерации.
